JOSEPH M LENARD (CTP Host):  Welcome everyone to constitutionalist politics I have a guest with me today and as you know if you've been with me anytime I can't avoid laying puns and also my brain just works rather weird So I try never to bring you a bummer kind of show But today is going to be a Downer kind of show and you'll find out why in a second and also you'll find out why in a second I have the Lynn Anderson. I beg your pardon. I never promised you a rose garden. Wow Yeah, please welcome to the show Rose Marie downer
ROSEMARIE DOWNER (Host "All Things Faith Walk"):  And
JOSEPH M LENARD (CTP Host):  Full disclosure I was on with Rose Marie on her Go all things face walk. So let's start with your podcast Why or how did your podcast come about and why is it all things?
ROSEMARIE DOWNER (Host "All Things Faith Walk"):  Faith walk, okay, very good question. My podcast came about because I I retired in December of 2019 and I got real serious about writing for publication and In two years, I think I had three books written um works that were in the play before I retired however and From the books I started to go on Podcasts to talk about my books and I realized that I could create the same platform myself and Have guests on my podcast and talk about my books in addition Which which is the bigger reason why I started the podcast is I teach the word of God I'm a minister of the gospel and I teach the word of God. So the podcast is primarily a platform where I teach I try to have guests every now and then no more than once a month And I use most of my episodes to teach the word of God So that's really the main reason why I had the platform podcast But I also use it to teach from my books and to engage others who are authors and for other reasons. Yeah
JOSEPH M LENARD (CTP Host):  Yeah, we are kind of on the same page With that I my show opening talks about it's no must no for us just me And an occasional guest. So yeah, I do it Although now going into the second calendar year not quite yet technically my second season I'm changing things up a bit to maybe drop a guest At least once a month maybe a couple times a month and keep the show More Christitutional politics based in conjunction with my Liberty Beacon calm pieces But let's talk about your first book because we all obviously go through a learning curve and a learning process So what was your experience? Well first what was the name of that book? Obviously is it still available and what did you come out of it learning that then helped you going forward with your other books?
ROSEMARIE DOWNER (Host "All Things Faith Walk"):  Then those are really good questions the title of my first book is The high call of forgiveness and I have I republished it in 2021 Along with a study series with a leader guide and a student workbook I then followed that with a for today devotional unforgiveness. So my experience with public with publishers It was a self publisher first of all. I did not know that they did not read your book This self publisher did that did not read my book and when I got it back I I started to see errors that I didn't know were there because I guess I was depending on them to back me up by reading it I also didn't know that you get this much Opportunity to review your cover design. It was a it was a lot of lessons learned I wasn't happy with the publisher because I think they should have informed me better about what to expect from them and then I Paid for assistance with marketing and they did absolutely nothing At the time I was working full-time. I was engaged in ministry at my church And so I wrote a book just to sit there and it really sat there It sold a lot in my church associations and communities and things like that But outside of that I don't think it left the border of the northeastern region of of the United States And it just sat there so in 2021 I rewrote it like I said expanded it Did this done a serious under devotion and right now is is my best seller the high policy
JOSEPH M LENARD (CTP Host):  So that's good in a way that you almost had that failure because a lot of times You learn more from a failure than Accidentally stumbling immediately into a success
ROSEMARIE DOWNER (Host "All Things Faith Walk"):  Right, right, right and yeah
JOSEPH M LENARD (CTP Host):  I go into that in my how to write a book and get it published hints and techniques. Yes Not all publishers self publishers assisted publishers as I like to call the hiring ones Are created equal and you could find article after article via google dr. Go jimaru or free spoke Search engines that'll you know give opinions and share but you have to be careful Like I say in my book. I have no financial interest in any of the ones I mentioned in my book But a lot of people are doing what they are claiming to be analysis But what they're really doing is they have a financial interest in one or another so you indeed have to do a lot of research or Find out the hard way and I hope you didn't spend a whole lot that first time to find out the hard way
ROSEMARIE DOWNER (Host "All Things Faith Walk"):  So yeah, those are the pictures you can see the pictures of the book there the devotional the book and the two Study materials the colorful ones at the top. That's that's the sad. Yeah, uh-huh
JOSEPH M LENARD (CTP Host):  And just to go back to my opening joke how many times you get called Are you related to Debbie downer?
ROSEMARIE DOWNER (Host "All Things Faith Walk"):  No, um, actually I I don't think I've been asked that I've been asked when I was in college I remember I was sitting in the one of the lobbies studying and this guy came up to me and said, um, hey You have any upper I said nope. I'm a downer. Um, he was asking me some pills. You know the pills that right Study upper to help study. Yeah, just stay awake to study. You have any upper. I'm like nope. I'm a downer So keep it moving
JOSEPH M LENARD (CTP Host):  That's funny before we go too much further. I want to throw in What is your website? We'll of course give it again at the end, but before we go Any deeper into your other books? Let's go ahead and give out Your website so that people are aware and of course it will be in the show notes when the show comes out

Yeah, yeah I would imagine there's also some variations on how to spell marie also But you're spelling it the traditional way and like I say My uh, Lynn Anderson. ROSEMARIE DOWNER (Host "All Things Faith Walk"):  I'm you'd be surprised at how many people look at my name and looking at rosemary and they still call me rosemary
JOSEPH M LENARD (CTP Host):  hell Yeah, well, I think marie osmond too. I guess since I mentioned Lynn Anderson I you know, I'm joking but it's an important serious point too that a lot of people will remember things the in name association So if they think Lynn Anderson Rosegarden and marie osmond Now there's no reason any of you out there should get her name wrong So Going forward I don't know that we've got time to go through all eight of your books But and as you said the one is a kind of a repeat So what is another one of your books and I know you you showed me something you taught me something and I appreciate that
ROSEMARIE DOWNER (Host "All Things Faith Walk"):  Ask you to teach me something when we get off this. Oh, okay
JOSEPH M LENARD (CTP Host):  Yeah, because during the zoom you can change your background I You know, I'm a paid zoom member for several years. I've got the high end zoom account But yet I still don't know all the functions and rosemary showed me that you can change your background in progress of the zoom So those of you watching at jlener detroit youtube and rumble Rosemary can now change her background to go to another one of her books. ROSEMARIE DOWNER (Host "All Things Faith Walk"):  and it's accompanied by a which which which can be bought separately a 40-day devotional titled above defeat So the diesel s I have nothing to do with um academics I talk about four d's and three f's and they're up there for those who are visual doubt distraction Discouragement depression frustration failure and fear. I talk about the dynamics of these Issues the dynamic dynamics of these strategies of the enemy Sometimes how sneak they they are like frustration and doubt distraction very sneaky They're happening to us and we don't know it and I also talk about in depth how we can use the word of god to counter them The devotional provides 40 days of shorter read About the subject matter and gives scriptures and questions and introspection that a person can use to move past these issues very detailed very good material for Women's group bible studies men's group as well teenagers adolescents Because many of us struggle with these diesel s and are not aware of what get us there And how to get out of them
JOSEPH M LENARD (CTP Host):  Again, you and I I just for whatever reason are kind of kindred spirits and we think alike I have an article Politics based though the christianist politics called the leftist 7d's Dodge deflect distract distort deny discredit so again that that concept of associating a letter So that it sticks in a brain and using kind of synonyms or Antonyms or things that relate to those letters so that it is something that then forms a connection a in in the mind of multiple D's and multiple F's And you going into that so I I like this I haven't read it obviously for disclosure, but I love already the concept of this book
ROSEMARIE DOWNER (Host "All Things Faith Walk"):  Yes, and um women's group have used it I think they're weekly bible study like book clubs and things and I have had feedback from many people that have been struggling with depression now The depression I talk about in this book is not clinical depression I talk about what I call situational depression or or yes or a situational depression so Experience show depression so the person this type of depression is not a chemical imbalance It's not it's not a mental illness a lot of people are depressed and be attributed to mental illness when it's not they're depressed because of situations and circumstances that happen job loss miscarriage still birth divorce death of a loved one that puts them in depression that situation puts them in depression So what the book teaches is How to use the word of thought to handle those negative situations that That can put a person in situational depression and rise above the circumstances Also positive things can cause depression um Getting married having a baby. These are positive things can cause depression because emotionally You're not ready for the major adjustment that those positive things demand And as a result can plunge someone in a state of depression. So that's the depression I talk about in that book
JOSEPH M LENARD (CTP Host):  Yeah What she asked about Showing off. Yeah now I decided to show off a bit and play along with the you can change your background in the middle Myself, you can see the trinity of the three crosses or you know the site of the resurrection if you prefer however, you wish to uh identify that in your mind as Symbology, but yeah, I I decided what the heck let me change my background to Right in the middle

This is one image that I bought the license right to So there is a Large print version available through ingram sparks Of my ChristiTutionalst book that has this as that cover as opposed to The cover you saw in fact, let me go ahead and show this audience Uh another background The background I used when I was on your show Is that and you can see the ChristiTutionalst politics regular cover there As opposed to that other background that I used For those of you again viewing on the rumble or youtube channel You can see these going back and forth That is the cover of the large print version of the ChristiTutionalst politics book I want to read those d's and f's again from the top of the screen there for those who can see it For the audio version only I want to reiterate doubt distraction discouragement depression and as rosemore Explained not mental health or mental illness type continual chemical induced depression but Situational depression as she explained as well as Frustration which is funny because I've got an article called about The frustration link frustration with dealing with the political brain dead that will have come out before this airs the other F failure and fear so That's I I love the way your brain works because it's kind of like mine Not to pat myself on the back or to my own horn, but I Like I really feel we are kind of kindred spirits in the way we think and associate things See you have yet another background of another book or you just planned the two

JOSEPH M LENARD (CTP Host):  All right, let's pull up this one. We're having a bit of fun. This was not planned This is just kind of happening this way and in the you learn something new every day She taught this old dog a new trick So this book these well, these are two different books. Tell us about these books
ROSEMARIE DOWNER (Host "All Things Faith Walk"):  Yeah, we already talked about the high call of forgiveness the colorful one We haven't talked about this one church or god
JOSEPH M LENARD (CTP Host):  So this one talks and let me say before you even say it Amen to the title
ROSEMARIE DOWNER (Host "All Things Faith Walk"):  One I did not come up with this title. I was in prayer. It was a Wednesday morning I was doing my devotion and I heard in the spirit church or god When I heard that I knew the lord the lord was giving me a book title he went the lord speaks to you it resonates I knew it was a book title and As I started to write I realized his question was Why is it that so many of my people That are staying home due to the pandemic because the church doors are closed are drifting from me Is it me that they worship or is it what we have made and have called church Amen So he was saying if the doors of the building we called church is closed We shouldn't drift from him from him if it is him that we love and are worshiping. That's what this book is about So I talk about the idols that are in our lives I talk about the mandate the call from god for us to come back into an intimate personal relationship with him I even look at some of the churches and revelation Chapters two and three that the jesus wrote letters to laodicea was lukewarm Ephesus I've left their first love so those were conditions that we find the church in we have made up an industry out of church church has become A business from many and and we go for the music we go for the the fellowship we go for the food We go for the friends we go for the microphone we go for the audience the popularity And we left leave the main figure out of the picture so the father was telling us Who is it that you're asking us? Who is it that you're worshiping? Is it church or is it god and if it's church you need to come back into your first love your relationship with me
JOSEPH M LENARD (CTP Host):  Amen Again, we have so much as the same wavelength now my books all come to me in a dream I feel they come from a higher source Into me through my dreams. I say of my books my books aren't from me They are through me I am just the conduit right and I agree with you know That's why I started Christitutionalist politics in june of 2023 and released Christitutionalist politics the book in august there will be a christitutionalist politics part two Dropping I think june first of 2024 Along that same lines Some people are there for the wrong reasons and My show and my book is about Coming back to the faith The full faith in full context of the bible because so many like in the church You have pastors priests ministers Revarance whatever christian sect Your leader at that church is called who don't preach The whole bible and they yes they are more concerned about keeping the money coming into the pews Than preaching and teaching the whole word of god and my show and my book and And he is so great that you're on it to help reiterate that point that you've got to look at the whole bible and it's full context Together not be a couch christian
ROSEMARIE DOWNER (Host "All Things Faith Walk"):  There's one other that I have I don't think I have a background with it on it. It's called

I love that. That's wonderful Very good symbology there also that you're kind of a classic style writer not a modern new age new wavy kind of you know
ROSEMARIE DOWNER (Host "All Things Faith Walk"):  Yes, I write as led by the lord. I write as led by the lord Honestly, and I love it. I wrote it down. My books don't come from me. They come through me
JOSEPH M LENARD (CTP Host):  I love it. You like feel free to use that line. Just remember where you got it. I want full accreditation I need I need the hype. I'm not as well known as you are
ROSEMARIE DOWNER (Host "All Things Faith Walk"):  Another book is um The self-scarred church the self-scarred church And that book talks about We being the church because the church is the people not the building
JOSEPH M LENARD (CTP Host):  Amen just just like the government why Institutional politics we the people we the people are the church in America We the people are the government if we're doing it right right right
ROSEMARIE DOWNER (Host "All Things Faith Walk"):  So when we the people who are the church at out of character meaning Don't laugh don't act in christ likeness. We scar the church. We mar the church um king leadership poverty mentality crab syndrome lack of vision Uh There are three more because I talked about seven um, so I talk about these common things that I see in the church that delay the church from growing and progressing In that book and how what we can do to overcome them and this book is is perfect For leaders and those who are aspiring to be leaders They're good for them and all of these are on Amazon barons on noble my website
JOSEPH M LENARD (CTP Host):  etc. Yeah, I am all joking aside I am the holder of several dozen copyrights, but indeed I only have three books currently Internationally available. So yeah, I'm not on your eight books level
ROSEMARIE DOWNER (Host "All Things Faith Walk"):  So my number nine is coming out in april. Oh, oh, oh
JOSEPH M LENARD (CTP Host):  Can we break news here? Are you willing to show the title? Yeah, the title of it is leaders are like giraffes Oh my god. Okay. You've got to explain that one
ROSEMARIE DOWNER (Host "All Things Faith Walk"):  So The giraffe is a phenomenal animal Phenomenal and when we learn about the giraffe How physical characteristics how the giraffe behaves how the giraffe gives birth how the giraffe eats How the giraffe drinks how the giraffe walk how the giraffe run you can draw an analogy Between all of those things and leaders leaders For example, the most obvious giraffes are tall they can be up to 19 feet tall The giraffe has have four sides meaning they have vision Okay, giraffes can run as much as 38 miles an hour Leaders should not be stagnant Giraffes eat from the top of trees Leaders should be learning from a place where their followers can't reach And after learning understanding and ingesting that knowledge they then feed their constituents There are tons of I have Seven chapters that talk about the analogy and within those chapters Make a lot of comparisons between what we can learn from giraffes and what leaders can mimic in their leadership
JOSEPH M LENARD (CTP Host):  And there's that number seven again. I'm sensing a big theme here, right? Not six Seven seven seven seven. Yes, seven miss kandats seven
ROSEMARIE DOWNER (Host "All Things Faith Walk"):  D's and s seven. Yes, interesting. I never even thought about that. Oh, I'll see you were so
JOSEPH M LENARD (CTP Host):  Just assumed by the spirit that that was in there that it didn't even Dawn on you consciously
ROSEMARIE DOWNER (Host "All Things Faith Walk"):  This is going to be this is going to be a powerful book. This is a powerful book for leaders There's so many insightful things in there about giraffes when I I was doing a seminar on on leadership Several years ago and I'm like, what am I gonna talk about? And I just got the concept it just came in my spirit leaders are like giraffes I did a seminar on it and I knew then I was gonna write about because I love to talk about leadership I'm very hard on leadership leadership should be stellar leadership should be upright I talk about integrity leading with strength and confidence and knowledge and mentoring and And coaching is a very sorrow book. It's good for the faith community as well as business community
JOSEPH M LENARD (CTP Host):  Here's something else you might be able to throw in there or or maybe I could write the forward to it because Leaders should be more like giraffes, but unfortunately a whole lot of them are more like chimps and then they'd like to throw a lot of poo Hahahaha, sorry, I could never pass the lame joke. I can never pass on it Well, let's wrap things up.
