First Generations Podcast
What does it mean to be first-generation? The host, Aaron, defines this term as an individual that has paved their own path and definition of success on their own terms. They pioneered how they wanted to live their life, no matter the hardships they had to experience and endure. No one in our world walks the exact same path. Diving into the personal stories of these guests, we will share the lessons and insights they have accumulated from being First Generation.

Join us as we explore the incredible story of Rebecca Hansen, a successful Sales Messaging Strategist. From growing up in a stable and comfortable environment in Denmark, Rebecca shares her story of how she ended up in Rwanda and how she went from going to study Asian Business and Mandarin to transitioning to the Sales industry. In this episode, we talk about how a formal "cookie cutter" mold doesn't apply to everyone in our world and the potential impacts to individuals that are too comfortable. We talk about the relationships with food, societal standards, norms, and most importantly, our relationships with ourselves. Rebecca also shares how her life started to fold and pivot into living a more fulfilled and happier life when she started working internally instead of externally.
Rebecca Hansen currently resides in the country of Rwanda and was born and raised in Copenhagen, Denmark. She is an expert sales consultant with her extensive knowledge and focus on the psychology of sales communication. Growing up in Denmark was an environment with a focus on stability and a checklist of arbitrary goals, social norms, trending standards, and achievements of success defined externally; These of which didn’t align with our guest’s inner compass. She pursued an education in Asian Business and Mandarin and eventually took a leap of faith and followed her intuition, leaving behind an environment of stability and building a life full of presence, intention, and fulfillment. I am proud to have her on this episode to share her story, her perspectives, her expertise, and some of the experiences she had to overcome in order to live her life on her own terms.
