First Generations Podcast
What does it mean to be first-generation? The host, Aaron, defines this term as an individual that has paved their own path and definition of success on their own terms. They pioneered how they wanted to live their life, no matter the hardships they had to experience and endure. No one in our world walks the exact same path. Diving into the personal stories of these guests, we will share the lessons and insights they have accumulated from being First Generation.

Jordan Viega is one of the most consistent individuals I’ve ever met in my life. He is a 2x mixed grip pull-ups world record holder and he is currently on pace to set a 3rd world record at the end of the year. Jordan Viega started his journey in the beginning of 2023 to set the records for the most mixed grip pull-ups completed in a month, in six months, and a year. This guy has been hammering over 1000+ (1100 a day) official mixed grip pull-ups a day since the start of the year and by the time this episode is released, he will be doing his pull-ups for 339 days straight. 339 days straight!!. This is over 374,300 pulls-up completed over the year so far!
In this episode, we are going to dive into why Jordan had decided to pursue setting the records for the most pull-ups and the significance of why pull-ups. He is going to share his journey of how he had first approached the Guiness World Book of Records and how he had to transition to other record holder companies for this amazing opportunity. We dive into Why this guy chose pull-ups, out of every other exercises that were available. We also talk about his mission and vision for these records, to promote mental health and the ups and downs he was personally facing in his own life. This is an episode we also dive into Jordan’s journey of growing up and how he had pursued a very similar career path as I had and how he is currently paving his own life. This is an individual I want to see go toe to toe with David Goggins in a pull-up battle as I feel that it would be an incredible and close competition.
