Hearts+Minds
The Hearts + Minds podcast covers everything from relationships and lifestyle, routines and habits, kids and colleagues to meaningful work, core values, spirituality, and God. We like to keep the tone light and conversational while dealing with topics that go well beyond the surface. Sometimes we bring up topics which overlap faith and life in a way to suit the unspiritual and devout alike. Wherever you’re at on your spiritual journey, this podcast should speak to you. Join us as we delve into life — the ordinary, relational, inner, and spiritual.
We’re delighted you’re here.

#102 | Series Theology of the Body: (Part III) Why being engaged is so special?
Chiara Degenfeld is joining us for part III of the Theology of the Body series, where we will explore why being engaged is so special.
Today, we will talk about engagement, embracing the journey, and making the most of your engagement to grow as a couple.
We will explore how a couple can build a strong foundation for their marriage during the engagement, the importance of discovering their fiancé's communication style, and the benefits of taking a marriage preparation course that covers the emotional, practical, and spiritual aspects of it.
Chiara explains how couples can foster a deep emotional connection during the engagement phase and the difference between wedding planning and preparing for the sacrament of marriage.
Lastly, she shares the role the sacraments of Mass, Confession, and the Eucharist played in her spiritual preparation for marriage.
Listen to the first two episode of the series:
#98 | Series Theology of the Body: (Part I) Did you know you are sacred?
#100 | Series Theology of the Body: (Part II) How can porn affect my relationship?
