Get Yourself a Nerd (w/Imara Jones from Translash Media) I Episode 209
May 13, 2024 Season 1 Episode 209
Shana & Kris

We've got company! Imara Jones is back on the show after 4 years and filling us in on all her amazing accomplishments since we last spoke– including being named Time Mag's 100 Most Influential People in 2023.

But what we really get into with Imara is everything love and relationships. The current dating scene in New York, where she meets people, red and green flags, dating studs and MOCs, her blind spots, harmful stereotypes of trans women and why you should get yourself a nerd.

Shoutouts:

Kris: Flagrant Mag - is BIPOC and women-owned magazine that unearths the stories surrounding the culture of basketball, including the artists, communities, projects, and fans.️ Follow and support on IG @flagrantmag

Imara:  Sending love to Rep. Mauree Turner, a Black, trans non-binary Muslim in the Oklahoma House who will not seek re-election.
