#4: Shawn Widdicombe- Social Media, Sponsors, & the Future of our Sport

In the past few years, we have met some talented extreme moto athletes and awesome industry professionals. The Elevated Action Podcast focuses on these people's stories, race careers, and methods of success.

In this next episode, we interviewed Shawn Widdicombe from Billings, Montana. The Widdicombe family has been racing motorcycles in Billings for nearly 60 years, and the legacy is continuing with his kids. Shawn races the #15 KTMs on the NAHA and MSS circuits, and his dad has built many amazing race bikes, including some that run on nitromethane. His son, Kael, is an up and coming rider who has been putting in the work to become a faster and better rider. Shawn's passion for the sport is more for his kids' success than his own, and it was awesome to hear him talk about the progression his kids are making. We go over some good topics, including the past couple race weekends, his experience with social media, his relationship with his sponsors, and the future of the sport.
