This is a live recorded episode from the Connected in Motion virtual slipstream event in April 2021. I’m joined by Chelcie and Natalie to discuss living with complications of type 1 diabetes. It’s an open and honest conversation and some topics we discuss may cause upset. The overall takeaway is that we should be having conversations about this topic to take away the fear related to complications. The reason, life still goes on after being diagnosed with complications.

Daniel will share his insights into his life living with type 1 diabetes. Daniel has lived with the condition along with for over 25 years. He also lives with diabetic retinopathy and received a kidney transplant in 2018.
