Speaker 2:

Hello, hello, hello and welcome back to another episode of Believe Like a Boss. I am your host life coach, Nandi Camille. Welcome back, my friends, I am so very excited If you follow me on social media, at nandicamille, I think on TikTok it's just Nandi Camille, all one word, but I'm not on TikTok nearly as much. So, really, truly, instagram is where to be, but I've been posting, I'd say, in the past few weeks past excuse me, about a month about a really awesome opportunity that's been on my vision board for years. Actually, at this point and so that's what I'm going to dive in today is this story that goes hand in hand with manifestation you might use the phrase co-creation. What I've learned about it, how it is tied with my spiritual practice, this has been the biggest, I'd say, manifestation, co-creation, that I've had the opportunity of working with God, working with the universe to create. These all might feel like really big terms. So, as always, my friends, take what sticks to you, leave the rest. This podcast is not meant to indoctrinate anybody or to tell anybody one way to be, that there is a right or wrong way. I actually don't believe that at all, that there's a right way and a wrong way. There's right or wrong. It's like don't kill and don't steal right. But other than that, the blatant ones, how you go about your life and creating your goals is totally up to you.

Speaker 2:

What has worked for me, and one of the practices that I've really enjoyed, has been the method of co-creation manifestation. I use the two interchangeably because I'd say colloquially, manifestation is the bigger word, that's the more trendy word to say. But as somebody that was raised in a very strict Christian faith, it's something that I have struggled with over the years. I now no longer struggle with it. I can say manifestation no longer issue. But when I first started this, it was a scary word for me. It felt like I was being a sinful Christian. It felt like I was walking away from God. But truly for me, in my spiritual practice and when I'm talking about manifestation, I'm talking about co-creation, working with God, and that's what I worked really hard to do through my practice. Whenever I'm co-creating, it is not about just me, it is about working with God, working with the universe. Again, use whatever word speaks to you to create the dreams that have been placed on my heart. So I want to break this down into two different parts. Part one. I want to break it down into what are the elements of co-creation. And then part two, truly just talking about my story, working with this brand and how it has been a total, just amazing, mind-blowing miracle of a co-creation manifestation. So, starting with principles, these are the principles that I've learned. These are principles that you can Google. These are common principles and also there are different ways that, I would say, people go about teaching it. This is how I'm going to teach. These are different ways that I would say people go about teaching it. This is how I'm going to teach you. These are the principles that I'm going to teach on.

Speaker 2:

I'd say, for me, co-creation manifestation breaks down pretty simply what do you want? It's the question that I ask you guys all the time what do you want? What is it that you truly, truly want? Right, and being honest with yourself, to say the thing that you want I want to be a mom, I want to travel to Europe, I want to paint a mural on the side of that building over there. Right, what is it that you truly want? And sometimes, again, it's not that you can say I want that thing or I want that experience. Sometimes it's a feeling I want to feel happier. I want to feel confident, right. So use whatever is more clear to you, and if both are clear to you, great right. If you are very clear on, I want to go backpacking in Europe and that would make me feel adventurous, spirited and independent. Both are beautiful to have. However, if all you're clear on is, I don't know, I just really got to get out of this state. I don't know why, but I just feel really called to get out of the state or, flip side is, I just want to feel better. I don't know what's going to do that to make me feel better. That's fine.

Speaker 2:

Start where you are. Get clear about what is it that you want? Then, from there, what are all of the limiting beliefs that say that you cannot have the thing that you want? Nandi, why are we talking about this? Because in order to co-create, in order to work with God, work with the universe, you have to believe the thing that you want the universe, god, is not going to work against your free will. If you say that you cannot make a million dollars, even though you want to make a million dollars, god, the universe, says okay, here's the other thing. Let's take God, the universe, spirituality out of it, your brain. If you tell your brain I can't make a million dollars, that's not for me, only those kinds of people can do that, your brain will say, okay, right. So, first and foremost, get clear on what it is that you want or how you want to feel. Second, what are all of your limiting beliefs around it? Again, if you write down, I want to be a mom and then all the limiting beliefs are well, I don't have a partner, I've been single for three years, I dot dot, dot, right. What are all of the limiting beliefs that say that you can't have the thing that you want? It is your job this is part of co-creation. It is your job to disprove them.

Speaker 2:

Even though I am the very first person in my family to want to make a million dollars or to own their own business or to dot dot dot, I believe that it's possible to dot dot dot. It's okay to have both truths right. Even though I don't know how I'm going to start this business and end up working for myself when I work full-time right now, I believe that it's possible for me to be able to get to a place where I working for myself when I work full-time right now, I believe that it's possible for me to be able to get to a place where I work for myself full-time. So that's what I want you to do first and foremost, get clear on what you want and then let go See if you can clear anything that says you cannot have that thing Because your job.

Speaker 2:

The next part of this is to show up as if it's already done. So you say that you want to. For my example, I said I wanted to be a national brand ambassador. That was really important to me. I was like I want to be on magazines or online. I just like I want to be featured, kind of like a model, but I want to be an ambassador. I want to be paid to go shopping. This was what I asked for. I said I want to get paid to go shopping. My friends, okay. At the time it was like 2018, 2019. I think it was yeah. I think yeah about that time.

Speaker 2:

What I was freshly out of college. I think it was a pre-kindergarten teacher at the time, or I was a director or assistant director. Right, I was in one of those phases. I was in education. I'm still in education, but it was an education. I was just starting my career in education. I really just wanted to be paid to wear clothes. That's it, guys, it wasn't deep. There's nothing deep about it at all. I just wanted it, and I just wanted somebody to give me money to go shopping. I'm not joking. Having been working in education, I was like I don't got money to go shopping like that, so I would like for somebody to give me money so that I can go shopping. That was what I wanted. I'm going to be real honest with you all. That's all I wanted. There's nothing deep about that had nothing to do with coaching and nothing to do with helping other women. It had everything to do with. This is what I want. I want to go shopping and I don't have money to go shopping, so I need somebody to give me money so I can go shopping. Not joking, this is where it started.

Speaker 2:

I also have a love of fashion. I had a love of blogging. I was in the midst of like transitioning from being a blogger to a life coach, and so I was posting online, and so I was posting online. So here's the part that I just said. Your job now is you've gotten rid of all your limiting beliefs, or rewritten your limiting beliefs is to show up as if it's already done, right? So I've gotten clear. I want to get paid to go shopping and I want to go shopping and I want to be a national brand ambassador. That was what I wanted. I was like I just want to work for a national retail brand, I want to shop in their clothes and I want to tell people about their clothes because I love fashion and this sounds like fun. That was truly it, and so then my job was to show up as if it was already done. So what I was doing is I was posting regularly.

Speaker 2:

If you scroll all the way back into 2018, 2019, I was posting every single day at like six in the morning, on a daily basis, I think, for like at least a year, Um, but every single day at six in the morning I would post, and there were a variety of different posts, all mindfulness based, because I'm a mindfulness based coach and I was moving towards coaching, but I still really wanted to be a national retail brand ambassador, and so I was posting clothing photos, tyler and I, around Denver and around Colorado, different outfits that I was wearing. And then the day came, my friends, I opened up my email and I got an email as an invitation to be an ambassador for EverEve. I had never heard of this brand ever before in my entire life. I went to look it up. I said what is this EverEvecom? Fell in love with the brand Immediately, said yes, and then was paid $200 a month for a year to go shopping to tell people about their clothes, to be a national brand ambassador. That's where it feels like magic that I'm not a model. I don't have an agency. I was not like. I still have about 3000 followers on Instagram. I didn't have a large following Then. It probably had one to 2000 at that time.

Speaker 2:

Right, I think so many times we get into our heads that like I can't do this, because I can't do that, because that's why I say truly, and not just me, anybody that's going to teach manifestation, co-creation. You will hear them say what do you want? What are the parts of you that say you can't have it? Get in alignment with the part of you that already has it. Show up as if it's already done. That's your formula. That's it, and you repeat it because, as you're showing up as if it's already done, limiting beliefs are going to pop up. Anxiety is going to pop up, fear is going to pop up, and it's going to be your job to check in and say, yeah, I know that I used to think that way. I know I used to be afraid, right, and I might even be afraid right now, but I'm showing up as if it's already done. I believe that the thing that's been placed on my heart is mine, that it's available to me. I might feel crazy in the midst of it.

Speaker 2:

Right, I had no proof that I was going to be selected as a national brand ambassador none whatsoever. And then a brand that I'd never heard of before reached out to me. Now, fast forward. This is the not part two to the podcast, but part two to this manifestation. I was a brand ambassador for about a year and I had so much fun it was truly so much fun and I loved every part of it. That is the shortest way for me to say it Loved every single part of it. As a result of that experience, I was an ambassador for a year, and then, after that year is when COVID hit, so they closed their ambassador program, so, again, that felt like a miracle too. I got to do it for the entire year, whereas some individuals had a shortened amount of time because they started later and then COVID happened. So I was so grateful for that. I had such a great experience working with that brand.

Speaker 2:

I cut out the logo of the brand and I put it on my vision board and said to myself I don't know how, I don't know when, but I want to work with this brand again. I didn't mean to make that rhyme, but that's truly what I put on my heart Again. I don't have a reason why I still have a low following. I'm actually focusing more on life coaching than I am on fashion these days but I truly just it was put on my heart again. I want to work with this brand again. I want to be in one of their magazines. I want to work with them in some way, shape or fashion. I put it on my vision board. Now, you all know me, if you have a vision board, a vision board is a tool, it's not just a pretty thing to put on your wall. When I use my vision board, I look at it, I read the things on there, I imagine myself in each of those situations and I put things on my board that already represent my current life right. So I have pictures of Tyler and I on my vision board. I have quotes on my vision board, things that have actually happened, but I also have Ever Eve on there. I had been a national brand ambassador, checked that box. That felt really good, but I knew that I wanted to work with them again. I knew that my time with them wasn't done. So about a month ago again now EverEve has been on my vision board for 2019 was the year I was a brand ambassador. 2020 was the year that they closed down the program, so wasn't it? So it's 2025 now. So it's been five years that it's been on my vision board.

Speaker 2:

About About a month ago, somebody reached out to me and said hey, nandi, evereve is doing a national search for models for their 20th year anniversary shoot. So Ever Eve is celebrating 20 years this year. It is so exciting, and so in that celebration, they did a national sweep for models. They're looking for women to come in and showcase their clothing. When I tell you again, this was a miracle manifestation moment. This had been on my board for years. I'm at this point. I'm not posting. At the time when they found me the first time, I was posting hashtag Denver blogger. Denver lifestyle blogger. I felt like that was a really good way for me to get found by people that were looking for ambassadors. I'm not. I use that hashtag now and again, but I don't use it nearly as much as I used to. They reached out and again it just felt like a miracle. Hey, we want you to come and audition for this.

Speaker 2:

It wasn't when I came across the ad and was like, oh my gosh, everybody is auditioning. A casting agent reached out to me and invited me to audition. I then auditioned. I did one call and this is another miracle. I did a call and the first call was actually like, really spotty. It was not a great call and I was not in great energy, and the miracle about that is that, because it was so spotty, we actually got to re-record it and I knocked it out of the park when we re-recorded it at least I thought so and so I did a video call interview talking about myself, my relationship with the brand. I told them about them being on my vision board, just how much I've fallen in love with the brand, and that was truly it. I got another call a few weeks later and they said hey, are you free on February 3rd? So this weekend I'm flying out and I'm doing the shoot this weekend.

Speaker 2:

Those are all the details that I can share right now, but the point of this episode is to remind you that you can have what you want, even if it feels crazy. You can have what you want. What is it that you want? What are all the things that say you can't have it? And then what would it look like to show up as if it's already done? And this isn't like beating yourself up into the ground craziness. Right At the time when Avery first found me, that was a cadence that worked for me.

Speaker 2:

I was posting daily at 6am because I was doing the blogger thing. I was trying to get my name out there more, right. That was what was working for me in that season. I'm not posting like that before, right, but I am showing up as my best self. And what is beautiful is, in my interview with Avery, what they asked about was me. It wasn't about modeling, it was a little bit about every, but it was mostly about who are you as a human being in the world? Why do you resonate with our brand? And I was so ready to answer those questions, because it wasn't that I was focused on being a model. It was that in this time, I was focused on being my best self. And in being my best self, one of the attributes of me is that I am a model.

Speaker 2:

And so let's peel that back a little bit. What did that mean for me? To show up as if it's already done? I take care of my skin, I take care of my body, I post regularly. I'm not posting as regularly as I want to be, but I definitely am in my stories, right, I'm showing up, I'm building my audience. Still, what does it mean to you to show up as if it's already done for your goal, for your dream? Play with it, and I mean that word, play with it. Try on different habits, try on different ways of showing up. See what works for you. And again, this isn't from a place of just like trying things and just throwing them against the wall.

Speaker 2:

Go to your future self, who already has the thing that you want. What are they doing? How are they showing up? When I imagined my future self who's already being called to model, who's being reached out and contacted to collaborate with, how is she showing up? Again, for me, it's taking care of my body, taking care of my skin, showing up online, making sure that I'm visible, making connections. What does it mean for you? And showing up online, making sure that I'm visible, making connections what does it mean for you? It's a high level, quick version of co-creation and manifestation, but I hope that it serves you because it's really so much more simple than I think that we make it out to be.

Speaker 2:

It comes down to do you believe that you can have the thing or do you keep talking yourself out of it? Trying to be practical, let's be a little delulule, a little delusional. My friends Play with that. Truly right. And for my Christians out there, this can apply to anybody.

Speaker 2:

But having a Christian background, like being raised in the church hello, jesus was the lulu. Do you read some of those stories? They walked by a plume of fire by night. I'm sorry. What You're going to tell me? That all these people walk by literal, I mean maybe, but like there's so many, there's so many, I think, examples in the Bible and spirituality of these things that feel crazy, but we believe them anyway, right? So why not apply that same faith to yourself and to your own dreams? Why not get a little delulu with your dreams, even if you have zero evidence. I had no evidence that it would be a brand ambassador zero, zero.

Speaker 2:

And to be a model. I'm sure I went up against models. When I got the call, I was told that hundreds of women applied to be in the spot. Now I'm not the only person that was chosen. I'm guessing there were about nine of us that were chosen. But still, like, what a beautiful blessing, like for me. I just keep coming back to like there's no logical reason for me to get this, and that's the beauty of co-creation and manifestation. As always, my friends, take what sticks to you, leave the rest. I'll see you next week. Hey friend, if you like this podcast, I would would love it if you could give us a five-star rating. Share it with your friends.
