In Writing HERstory: A Memoir Featuring 18 Women and HERstory, Ashley Lougheed uncovers the power of women’s stories, and they are more alike than different. Regardless of dark or light times, the female experience is universal. We know the pain of trial and defeat and have faced internal and external challenges. We’ve experienced catcalls, sister wounds, impostor syndrome, and limiting beliefs. But we also know how to solve problems and how to dig deep into ourselves to find our grit. We know the power and truth of women supporting women and recognize the value of leaning on our soul sisters for support.
