Selvarani Elahi MBE, UK Deputy Government Chemist, LGC.
Selvarani has over 25 years’ experience in food and agricultural analysis working across a variety of policy areas to improve standards in measurement science. Selvarani is the Executive Director of the Food Authenticity Network and was part of a three-person team that undertook a Review of the National Food Crime Unit. She is the Chair of Defra’s Authenticity Methods Working Group and is part of the UK delegation for some Codex and CEN committees.

Helen Sissons, fiin Co-Chair & Group Technical Director, 2 Sisters Food Group.


Helen has been in the food industry for over 30 years and currently leads the Technical, Health & Safety, Sustainability and Agriculture functions. In this role Helen directs the strategy and governance for each of the functions. She also currently sits on several external panels, including membership of the BRCGS International Advisory Board, Modern Slavery Intelligence Network Board and IGD Technical Leadership Forum.
