Supporting Someone Involved in Domestic Violence Pt. 2
Oct 27, 2020 Season 1 Episode 7
Dr. LaSondra Barnes

In this episode,  I will continue the conversation with my best friend and clinical therapist, Tiyanna Payne discussing how to support a person involved in an abusive relationship.

Reasons Why People Stay In an Abusive Relationship:

1. They believe they can change their partner
2. Attracted to similar traumas
3. Lost their identity and voice

Domestic violence is not okay. If you or someone you know is involved in an abusive relationship, there is help available. Please call 1-800-799-SAFE (7233) or go to their website www.thehotline.org for more information.

Like & Follow Tiyanna Payne Facebook at True Image Associates, Therapeutic Services LLC, and Instagram @Trueimageassoc.
