Explore the history of the Busiki and Busambira states, two forgotten micro-kingdoms of pre-colonial Uganda. While most Busoga states were ruled by the AbaiseNgobi, these two nations were led by the lesser-known AbaiseIgaga clan.

In this episode of "Those Who Came Before Us," we trace their journey from their founder the legendary "Meat Giver" Nemwe, through their pre-colonial sovereignty, all the way to the late 1900s when they were incorporated into the modern Busoga Kingdom and the nation of Uganda.

Join me as we dive into the oral traditions, clan lineages, and the unique political heritage of the Basoga people that often goes untold in mainstream history.
