John has been announcing for over 20 years, covering Sunderland for a long time and now at 'Boro.

He's had Hollywood stars for the half time draw and been insulted by Brian Clough and seen some incredible moments at Ayrsome Park, The Riverside, Roker Park at the Stadium of Light (including THAT day when Alan was poised to present Utd with the Premier League trophy, only for Man City to snatch the title at the death!)
