People Say Anything

Exodus 9:27-30 Don't just believe what people say. Look at what they do.

What's up everyone? I'm Ruthenna Porterfield, God's favorite, and I want you to get to know him. This is the Meet my God podcast. 

Today we meet God in Exodus, chapter nine, verses 27 through 30. There's a certain type of person who'll say anything to get what they want. They'll make empty promises. They'll flatter you. They'll tell you exactly what you want to hear. Which is why listening to what they say is not enough. You should also look at what they've done in todays passage. Pharaoh said all the right things, but Moses saw right through it. Moses gave Pharaoh what he asked for, while still letting him know that Moses ain't no fool.
