What's up everyone? I'm Ruthenna Porterfield, God's favorite, and I want you to get to know him. This is the meet my God podcast.

Today we meet God in Exodus, chapter twelve, verses 29 through 36. God may seem cruel sometimes, but he is always just on the night of this passage, God made the entire nation of Egypt feel the death and devastation that the children of Israel felt at the beginning of the book of Exodus. It was a terribly high price to pay for the stubbornness of one man and the deliverance of God's people. 
It's not always easy to understand God's ways and his timing. Sometimes we have to just step back and trust his purpose and his promise. We have to trust who he is through everything. God is good, God is faithful, and God is love, and he loves you and that will never change.
