At the age of seventeen Donna Bess was in a traffic accident that claimed the life of her best friend.

Donna had been the one behind the wheel.

The resulting hopelessness in the following days let to rash, imprisoning decisions she later came to regret. Though she found soul rescue through a relationship with Jesus, she continued to face devastating circumstances. Yet, throughout her grief-filled journey, Donna learned to lean into the power of God's love. There, she found peace through the storms.

There she found surrender to God.

There she also began to understand the things she was able change.

Donna Bess is a follower of Jesus Christ, a first-time author, and a speaker. Prior to her first husband's passing, she was a women's ministry leader and lay counselor.  A healthcare professional for over twenty-five years, Donna eagerly anticipates what she is starting so see happen, as more and more women receive His redemptive healing. As God's bride, the Church is beginning to exemplify more of His amazing splendor and glory,  those who don't yet know Him are attracted to His radiant love!

During the few hours that Donna isn't working as a nurse or an author, or catching up on much needed sleep, she is fulfilling her passion for reading and learning. Her greatest joy is spending time with three wonderful adult children and four amazing grandchildren. Donna resides in Nashville, Tennessee.
