Hello, I am Joshua P. Warren, and this is Joshua P. Warren Daily, and it is a special update for you because I am here in Chile, Wisconsin, and guess who is sitting beside me in the vehicle on the road? The one and only, Dr. Mulder. How do you like this weather up here, Doctor? It is very, very cold. Yeah, you know, uh, it's uh it's funny because as I was mentioning yesterday, everybody back where we're from, basically the Carolinas, is having a winter wonderland, and at least we don't have that up here. But uh, yeah, it's quite chilly. I think it's about 17 degrees outside right now. And so let me tell you what's happened and what's happening, because this is of course the big day when we are going to a little later on be meeting up with Charles Casamano and Tom Vrlock for the first time. But last night uh I got in pretty late uh because uh there was a delay on my uh one of my flights. And so Dr. Mulder picked me up at the airport, and uh, of course, we were both uh starving, and so we found a nice late night bar. I don't want to say exactly the name of the bar yet. In fact, I don't want to be too specific about where we are due to the stalkers that we both have, right, Doctor? Um we'll tell you later when we're gone. But so but get a load of this. So we're sitting there at the bar, really nice, uh, you know, rustic setting, great food, I think some of the best chicken fingers I've ever had in my life. There aren't many people in the bar. And uh so Brad and I are just chatting, and a few seats down, there was this young woman sitting by herself, and before long, she struck up a conversation with us. I mean, how could she resist, right?

She looks down at it. It's one in the morning, she sees a couple of ruggedly handsome chunks of coal like us at the bar. She she's gonna say something to us, and so next thing you know, we're we're having a little chat with this this lady. We didn't even tell her who we were or what we were there for, and somehow or other, she brings up serial killers. Did she not? How did that happen?

Uh I don't know, it's just organic. She just brought it up. I I I you know we can have that reaction with women, I guess.

Yeah. And so she informs us that uh we are in Jeffrey Dahmer's old stomping grounds. And in fact, you may or may not know there actually is a a Jeffrey Dahmer tour. It's conducted like a ghost tour, but you can come here and they'll take you around to the places where he killed people and and tortured them and ate them and created sex zombies and all this kind of stuff. Uh, would you go on a tour like that, uh, Doctor?

Uh it depends on the mood and the weather.

Well, uh, the weather has a lot to do with, I think, how people fill up here because this is also the state where Ed Gean uh is from. You know, he was the guy who inspired Leatherface and uh even the uh even Norman Bates, they say, and and Psycho. So this place is well known for its serial killers, its cheese, and its beer. And so therefore, uh, so she starts telling us, like, oh yeah, there's this bar, you know, just a few blocks away, and that's the bar where Jeffrey Dahmer would go, and uh and he would he would sit around and pick up people at the bar and then take them back to his house, and then that's where he would uh you know uh torture them and uh kill them and eat them. And you can still go to this bar. It's a little different now, but you know, and uh so immediately I'm like, hmm, I think I might like to go to this bar. Uh and how how do you feel about going to this bar, uh, Doctor? Uh not uh I don't know.

It depends. I wonder what kind of a bar is it. Does it, you know, is it sort of a a gay bar or is it like a regular bar? Or what kind of a bar is it?

It's the kind of bar where Jeffrey Dahmer would hang out.

And so so basically, uh I get the details on this bar, and and and so um I was I was expecting us to go over there, but you know what? We leave on Wednesday, and turns out this bar is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. So we're either out of luck or in luck. So it looks like we won't be going to the bar where Jeffrey Dahmer used to pick up his victims. So sorry to break that news to you. Oh, I'm so sad. Thank you. But now that wasn't it. She continues talking to us and told us that she lives in an old haunted house nearby. She said this house was built pre-Civil War, that she has done work around the foundation and seen old, old original paint. And uh she said that the house is haunted by a number of things, including a succubus, which uh has been attacking her boyfriend from time to time. That's a horrible problem to have, isn't it, Brett? And so she said uh she was telling us, you know, like how impressive and she goes, Hey, you guys want to come to my house and you know, see see what's happening there? And uh I said, Why sure. Not right now. I mean, you know, it's like again, it's one o'clock in the morning when we're tired. I was like, Well, here's my card, and it'll send me an email and she was really excited and said she would contact me. And when I I said, Well, we you know, we're here to get some work done. If we can squeeze that in, I'd love to come and then see your old house. So anyway, after that, Brad and I we we left and uh we came back to our hotel and I was saying, Boy, it this has kicked off to an interesting start. I get into my room, I start thinking about it, and you know what occurred to me, Dr. Mulder? What? She at one o'clock in the morning is in a bar in Jeffrey Dahmer's old neighborhood inviting us to go back to her house. That's what Jeffrey Dahmer would do to people.

We're just trusting looking people, that's all I gotta say.

Maybe that's what people do around here. Do you realize that if we'd gone to her house last night, she could be eating us right now? That is not a good uh idea. But thanks. We may have just barely slipped through the grasp of the grim reaper. There may be a parallel universe in which you and I are sex zombies or something like that, chained up in our old Civil War basement. And I mean, maybe that's uh that's like a little thing. Like maybe that's why she brought up the serial killer thing, because she's the type of person who's interested in uh living that lifestyle. So I think it was a probably a very good idea that we didn't fall for the bait because we easily could have. You know, we had a couple beers in us. Uh she's she's probably using this line, whatever she thinks she can do to really really it back to her house. And uh we may see her on the news uh in the near future. Uh and by the way, I haven't heard from her. Maybe that's a good thing. I I yeah, I just I don't even know if she called me or whatever if I would want to go over there now. But um hey uh Brad, you know what uh you know what Jeffrey Dahmer used to say to his mom when she told him that uh she didn't like his friend?

My baloney has a first name. Back in the day, that was the thing, wasn't it? But uh so uh but I find that odd that we've come to this area to study these two unusual characters and find out this is also the old stomping grounds for for uh uh for uh for for Dahmer. But here's the weirdest part of all, okay? I swear to God this is true. I wasn't even thinking about Jeffrey Dahmer when I was flying here, and guess what? Of all the things I could have watched in the world, I watched on the airplane, because I brought my Kindle with me and I have my Kindle loaded up with stuff, and I pick something and watch it. I watched a movie about Jeffrey Dahmer. It's called uh My Friend Dahmer, and it's it was a it was based on a guy who wrote a graphic novel uh about his experiences going to high school with Jeffrey Dahmer. And it's a really uh it's a really strange movie on a number of levels, but uh I don't want to spoil it for anybody, but uh he kills a lot of people. Actually, no, he that's the ironic thing. They never show him killing anybody. This is where you get to see the the years where it's boiling up inside of him. So there's this kind of unexpected Jeffrey Dahmer vibe that we've stepped into here, and I don't know what that means. I don't know where that's leading us. Uh do you have any thoughts on that, Doctor?

Uh not really. I just know that that uh there are some interesting people in this wonderful town uh Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and we have several at night.

So we are uh we've got some production work to do here before we meet up with uh Tom Vrilloc and Charles Costamano a little later today.
