Sheila:

Realize this is your one.

Sheila:

Go around the sun, this life of yours. Let's have a hand in making it even more spectacular than it already is. How are you? How is your week going? I'm Sheila Botelo. I'm a self-care strategist host of the Connect with Sheila Botello. I'm a self-care strategist host of the Connect with Sheila Botello podcast and really committed to helping you reconnect to your purpose, get healthy and build your version of a happy, successful life. And one of the ways that I love to go into doing this is what I do for myself, and that is my self-care.

Sheila:

Practice includes certainly a lot of external things, but really there's a lot of internal stuff that goes on, including meditation, and I've created some meditations that have like an affirmation attached to them, and we've been talking about how do we feel about affirmations. Is it something that we feel like is actually really effective? Because, you know, is it believable to us? But I've also talked about how it's really um, it's interesting how we talk to ourselves. So we say a lot of stuff to ourselves. That, yeah, we say a lot of stuff to ourselves. That's not true necessarily in the negative, right. So I'm just talking about making some shifts so that you can actually start seeing the abundance around you, seeing the possibilities, and it's a beautiful way to start your day. It's a beautiful way to end your day. So if you're just joining me here, live welcome. If you're looking at it later, it's something that you can repeat as well, and I'm going to share a slide on my stories of the affirmation.

Sheila:

But today it's all about thinking about our inner life. Oh boy, this is really receptive, responsive to the emojis. It's all about really being receptive to what is around us and thinking about our life as a garden and how, you know, we're cultivating soil, we're planting seeds, we're fertilizing, we are nourishing, we are then watching it sprout, grow, harvest, like. These are the things that happen in our mind, right, the fertile soil of our mind. It's something that it's, if left untended with the thoughts that we have coming through, it can be really destructive. That we have coming through it can be really destructive or it can grow beautiful, beautiful things. So, with that in mind, today we're kind of focusing on this garden in the meditation, and so the meditation series is being recorded as I go through this process, which is why I've been showing up every day and it's the reason why I really love to just take it day by day, because more things continually come up over time. Right, every day something new happens. Every day you get a new insight, whereas if I were to sit down and record everything all at once, it would lose its richness. For me and I've done this in the past just to have it complete and I wasn't super happy with how it turned out. So I wanted to really expand what I did in this sense with the recording. So if you do want to get the recording and you'll be able to see like a couple of unlocked ones when you first start, just to see if it's something that you would enjoy just DM me the word abundance and I'll happily send that to you. So stay tuned.

Sheila:

I have a beautiful day ahead here, as I mean goodness that sun. It's been so beautiful seeing it come up through those trees every morning, and I hope that, wherever you are, whatever time it is that you are having, or you have had, a good day, that you've been able to cultivate your mind to the extent that you can see where there are some silver linings, where there are some good things going on, because I know it's. It can be challenging each day. It's not all sunshine and rainbows, right. I love to look for those in everything, so I invite you to do that too. Just play with it. Realize this is your one. Go around the sun, this life of yours. Let's have a hand in making it even more spectacular than it already is. Sending you love. Have a beautiful day. Big blessing you.
