SUMMARY

In the seventh episode of this season of the Tackle Tuesday podcast, we explore the need for boundaries when creating and maintaining brave spaces.

The episode defines boundaries, discusses why they are important to implement in our work and personal lives and explores the impacts of not having boundaries in place. We unpack why it can be so difficult to articulate and stick to our boundaries and share pesonal examples throughout the episode.

We delve into how self-esteem, imposter syndrome and confidence can relate to boundaries. Then some tips and tricks are shared to help you think about your soft and hard boundaries, as well as your values and the need to acknowledge and let go of guilt. Lastly, we discuss the need to set a boundary for ourselves, not around what someone else will or will not do.

We wrap up by challenging our listeners to identify one action they can take in the next week to establish or improve a boundary.
