Death to Selfie: Just Say No (To Yourself)

Saying no is hard - especially to ourselves. Yet Jesus calls his followers to learn to deny themselves. Why? Why did he think this was so important? Part of the reason is that anything that is controlling us, is taking his place in our lives. When we learn to say no to ourselves, we learn to keep everything else in our lives in second place behind God.
