Occasionally, people say, are we really in the last days? How do we know? Does it matter one way or another? We will try to answer these questions and many others in this study. But the most important question may be, how can we reach others with hope in these changing times? One part of prophecy is often emphasized over another, causing us to lose perspective and miss the blessing and beauty of prophecy in scripture. I have taken the information in this study from many authors and teachers who have their lives studying God's word. I have added some insight that the Holy Spirit taught me. With God's help, I have endeavored to keep the whole counsel of the word of God in full view to give us an accurate picture of Christ and His great love for a lost world. I pray that this will challenge you and cause you to grow in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, as it has me preparing it. Let's begin!

Speaker 1How close are we to what people call a World War III? Movies and the media have kind of given us the vision of World War III as atom bombs and hydrogen bombs going off all over the world and the earth becoming a burning cinder circling the sun. As we talk about the potential of a world war, I want to make sure that we define it from a scriptural point of view. Without the Bible, we live in absolute fear. World War III is considered by many to be the end of the world. The Bible describes Armageddon as a terrible worldwide war, but Jesus Christ comes to save the world. So what do we face with today?
Speaker 1Some very serious things are going on as I speak in Israel, iran, lebanon, the Gaza Strip, turkey. Some very scary things, some very scary phrases are being thrown around Now, if you've been watching the news, just two days ago a rocket landed in a soccer field where kids were playing and 12 children died. That rocket came from Hezbollah in Lebanon. Israel is furious over it, as they should be. We have to understand the mindset of Iran. Total destruction of Israel and world democracy is what they're after. They glorify death over life. They have no respect for human life. Speaker 3This is not Israel-Hamas war. This is not Israel-Shezbara war. This is the Iranian campaign against the Western representative in the Middle East, which is the state of Israel, and they are coming after us, but soon they will come after you, because they don't believe in gays' rights, they don't believe in human rights, in women's rights, they don't share the values that we share as democracies, and the Ayatollahs of Iran view their mission to spread the Islamic Revolution values all over the world.
Speaker 1Isn't it ironic that so many of these protesters around the world and here in the universities of America protest against Israel and support Hamas and Hezbollah? For if they lived there, they would have already been killed. The West meaning Europe, united States, the democracies of this world. We don't understand the Far East. We don't understand the Middle East, all of those areas it's a different mindset always has been we would have to live in the middle of it to even begin to understand it. Europe and the United States is hoping that Israel will show restraint. It's hard for us to grasp what exactly is going on, especially here in America and some other European nations, where we don't have our neighbors firing rockets at us and threatening our lives and threatening to take over our country and destroy our civilization. This is what's going on in Israel and we can criticize them left and right for all that they have to do to defend themselves, but they are fighting for their children and for their very lives, which could be extinguished in the coming months. How close are we to the rise of this Antichrist that we've been talking about for 2,000 years? Very close. The destruction of Israel, or the near destruction of Israel, is what opens the door for the seven-year deal, the agreement that he makes with Israel.
Speaker 1If we can understand what the Bible is trying to tell us. It's saying we are at the door. Jesus is knocking on the door. Are we aware? Are we preparing ourselves spiritually? Are we doing the work of God? Is that our priority? That's what the scripture is about. That's why it's written down, so we would understand, so we could see how far will it go. Speaker 2While Secretary of State Antony Blinken says the US supports Israel's right to defend itself, he's urging the Israelis to constrain their response to prevent a wider Mideast war. On Sunday, Turkish President Erdogan threatened to invade Israel, just like Turkey did in Armenia and Libya.
Speaker 1How important is this? Turkey is one of the countries named in Ezekiel 38 and 39 that talks about this pre-trib invasion. I hope we can understand what is happening. Israel will retaliate. They have to. They can't just sit back and say, well, those 12 kids you killed for no reason don't matter, we couldn't do it here in the United States and they can't do it there either. So when they do, what that response will be, we don't know. This is what Hezbollah was working towards.
Speaker 1It may be difficult for you to understand the mind of evil, but the deepest, darkest part of evil, which is satanic, which is what Iran is right now, not the people. There's a great revival going on in Iran this time as well, but the leadership is under demonic control and when you are, the amount of wickedness that you can produce is unlimited, because it's coming from hell itself. They have been baiting Israel this whole time, ever since October 7th and way beyond that, but recently ever since October 7th and way beyond that, but recently October 7th waiting for the rest of the world to condemn Israel, waiting for the rest of the world to leave Israel by itself, waiting for the moment to come in and destroy it completely. What we saw on October 7th is what they hope to do to every single person man, woman and child in Israel. Not just take over the country, kill a few people. No slaughter, everyone is what's in their hearts. Slaughter is at the heart of the wickedness and when you look into the eyes of such wickedness it's like a cancer.
Speaker 1Many of us have had friends or ourselves who have battled that terrible disease and sometimes it's so bad that they have to cut out a piece of an organ in order to get rid of the cancer. There's nothing wrong with the organ, but the cancer is in it and there's no way to get it out unless they cut out a piece of the cancer. They have come in like a cancer taken over the Gaza Strip, hezbollah taken over Lebanon. The people there suffer because of it, but unfortunately there's no way to get the cancer out of those countries. They're not interested in a political solution. It doesn't fit the game plan.
Speaker 1The enemy knows how to deceive, he knows how to get it done. And the only thing that could come against him is the power of Jesus Christ, which he gave to you and me as Christians, to pray. If we lay down that weapon, we're done. That's the only weapon we have. God gives us the power of the Holy Spirit to overcome evil, and he gives us a mind of clarity of thought so we could use our minds and our spiritual attributes to defeat the enemy. He will give us wisdom if we ask for it.
Speaker 1The war that's coming may not be World War III, as we are used to thinking of it, total destruction of the world but it will be devastating. It will be devastating to the Arab world, it will be devastating to Israel. That's when the Bible tells us about the false man of peace to come and give the seven-year deal to Israel, promising them that this will never happen again. The pseudo man of peace. And here's something to think about. As the rockets fly over Israel, the drones and the missiles and the jets and a few of them hit the dome of the rock on the Temple Mount and it is destroyed. Would not that open the door for the building of the third temple? Take a listen to this last piece before we end today's podcast.
Speaker 2The Iranian role is extremely broad in this region. They're the masterminds behind all this, as Syriza Javi said in our report. They're exporting their revolution to the region and the world. They supply the weapons, the intelligence, they have the strategy and they have what's called the Ring of Fire, which is a combination of the proxy groups around the region Hamas, hezbollah, the Houthis, iranian-backed militias in Syria and Iraq and a war potentially with Hezbollah would be much more deadly and dangerous than Hamas, with possible attacks on Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. Hezbollah is much bigger than Hamas about 10 times the size. They have more fighters, they have precision guided missiles and those guided missiles could hit anywhere in Israel, including here in Jerusalem, tel Aviv and all the way down to a lot near the Red Sea.
Speaker 1There is much to pray about. We are in a world that is changing right before our very eyes and yet most people do not see it. They disregard it as just the happenings of a crazy world. Yesterday, iran threatened to close off the Mediterranean Sea. Iran has a substantial navy If they attempt to put a blockade in the Mediterranean Sea, that affects the whole world. The US, europe, all have ships in the Mediterranean Sea. It is time for a call to prayer. If all this is happening today, when will the rapture take place Tonight? Next year? Will we see the rise of the Antichrist? I believe we will, for there is work for us to do and, yes, I believe we will be taken out of here before God's wrath falls upon the earth.
