Occasionally, people say, are we really in the last days? How do we know? Does it matter one way or another? We will try to answer these questions and many others in this study. But the most important question may be, how can we reach others with hope in these changing times? One part of prophecy is often emphasized over another, causing us to lose perspective and miss the blessing and beauty of prophecy in scripture. I have taken the information in this study from many authors and teachers who have their lives studying God's word. I have added some insight that the Holy Spirit taught me. With God's help, I have endeavored to keep the whole counsel of the word of God in full view to give us an accurate picture of Christ and His great love for a lost world. I pray that this will challenge you and cause you to grow in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, as it has me preparing it. Let's begin!

Today we ask how far along are we in the timeline of the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ and the fulfillment of the prophecies and the coming Antichrist. On November 5th, this country is going to pick its new president. Presidents come and go, that's for sure. I've been around a little while, so I've seen a lot of them. Many times they greatly affect the direction of the country and the world, and other times not so much depending on the world situation, wars, the political atmosphere at that time. But this time around we're faced with something completely different. It's not just a matter of Kamala Harris or President Trump. It's about the decisions that will be made. Why is it more important now than in years gone by? This November 5th, the people of the United States are going to make a decision that will either accelerate the apocalyptic biblical prophecies or slow them down. Of course, that decision ultimately lies in the hands of Almighty God, but he does give us a free will to choose and somehow, in his great wisdom, free will and predestination meet. That alone is kind of a mind-blowing concept. That could be 10 or 15 podcasts all by itself.

That's why I consider the elections in November a litmus test. A litmus test of the heart of the people in this country. What is their desire? Where are their heads at? What do they want more than anything else? Are we aware of what's at stake? The policies of the current administration have caused great hardship and stress to the children of this country and their families and added to the division in our country. Where we should be preaching love and forgiveness and coming together, we're preaching Satan's gospel of divide and conquer. This is the language of the devil himself. The message of Jesus Christ is forgiveness, healing, and a new beginning. That's what the church should be doing brand new beginnings. God has given us the spirit and the mission of reconciliation. We can have our own opinions I certainly have mine and they need to be God's opinions.

The issues we face today, about this coming election, are spiritual. Whichever side of the aisle wins, the hate will continue. It'll only build. I can guarantee it. The battle will not stop. We are in it for the long haul, all the way to the end. The battle lines have been drawn. Satan is not going to give up. He's got all his forces, both human and spiritual, going full throttle.

While, I hate to say it, most of the church is asleep. We need to put on the full armor of God, pray and remember our mission to seek and to save the lost. When we're in a room that's completely dark looking for the door or the light switch if all we do is fight, shove each other, and scream and yell, we will never get out of that darkness. We'll never get out of that room open the door and escape. Jesus is the light. He can make that happen. So what will transpire this November will be God's will. However you look at it, he's going to allow the free will of the people to make a decision that will change the world forever.

Right now, in Israel we are faced with a possible World War III. We talked about this in the last podcast. It's going to draw all of us into this war, this war of hate. What is happening in the Middle East is symbolic of what's happening in America. The only difference is we're not arming ourselves with missiles and rockets and tanks, but we're doing it verbally. So how long do you feel this earth can go under these conditions?

It's been said so many times, almost to nausea, but it's the frog in the water. You throw the frog in the water when the pot is cool and you turn up the heat ever so slowly, little by little, over a period of time, until the water is so hot that the frog doesn't realize it and it boils to death. There is a famous quote from Ernest Hemingway's 1926 novel the Sun Also Rises. “Slowly, at first, then all at once.” That is what the fulfillment of Bible prophecy is going to feel like to those who are not prepared. Let's remember the words of Jesus in Matthew, chapter 16. He says to the Pharisees and the Sadducees, when evening comes, you say it will be fair weather, for the sky is red, and in the morning today it will be stormy, for the sky is red and overcast. You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times.

As I close out this short podcast today, I want to remind us and you may say, oh, I've heard this before, but please take it to heart We've never had AI before. We've never had the threat of a one-world government like this. We've never been on the brink of a one-world government or a one-world economy with total control through AI. We've never had a war in Israel like this. Israel's been in many wars you can look them up, I've covered that on past podcasts. but nothing like this. Iran threatening to blockade the Mediterranean Sea but Iran threatening to blockade the Mediterranean Sea, the Houthis and Hamas and Hezbollah all forces coming to bear on Israel. Turkey has never threaten to invade Israel. These are all new developments. The rise of lawlessness in our cities, the all-out rebellion against God's Word.

It reminds me of when Moses was up on the mountain with God and the people started to rebel. Let's read it together Exodus, chapter 32, beginning with verse 1. When the people saw that Moses was so long in coming down from the mountain. They gathered around Aaron and said Come, make us gods who will go before us. As for this fellow Moses who brought us out of Egypt, we don't know what has happened to him. So, Aaron answered take off the gold earrings that your wives and your sons and your daughters are wearing and bring them to me. So, the people took off their earrings and brought them to Aaron. He took what they handed him and made it into an idol, cast in shape of a calf, fashioned it with a tool, then said these are your gods, Israel, who brought you out of Egypt. When Aaron saw this, he built an altar in front of the calf and announced tomorrow there will be a festival to the Lord.

So, the next day they rose up early and sacrificed burnt offerings and presented fellowship offerings. Afterward they sat down to eat and to drink and to indulge in all type of immorality. There are a couple of things here we should look at. One: Just because God hasn't come down and punished everyone for doing things they shouldn't have been doing doesn't mean he's not watching. Two: We can compare Aaron to the social pressure some pastors and denominations are feeling as they move away from God's word to appease the people. Three: Offering sacrifices to other gods, the gods of self, and indulging in immorality to celebrate it. Is that not a picture of where we are today? God wants to move. God wants to see us line up with him so we can be the healing voice and the healing touch to a people that are lost. God is desiring to pour his spirit out on his people.
