In this conversation with Dr. Rachel Bervell of @theobgynproject on Instagram, we spoke about the disconnect between public health and medicine (& its results on health outcomes especially in reproductive health) and the history of eugenics and experimentation on BIPOC women in this country (as well as the erasure of indigenous women from that history)
We also talked about the importance of reckoning with the history in order to affect the change needed to address racial and ethnic health disparities today.
