Lewis Festival Scholar Series
Ep. 1, Season 3 "CS Lewis and Heroic Tradition" Joseph Loconte
Welcome to season 3 of the Lewis Festival Scholar Series!
This first episode visits 2015 for a talk by Dr. Joseph Loconte, Senior Fellow in Christianity and Culture at King’s College in New York City and Director of the Simon Center for American Studies at the Heritage Foundation. He is also a highly respected speaker and author and he based his talk on his book A Hobbit, A Wardrobe and A Great War. Dr. Loconte postulates had there been no Great War, there would have been no Hobbit, no Lord of the Rings, no Narnia, and perhaps no conversion to Christianity by C. S. Lewis.
