Welcome to the anxiety proper podcast. I know I've been feeling some shifting energy lately. I don't know have you noticed that listeners that things are changing the where I'm recording this at the end of August. So maybe it's the changing of the seasons, maybe it's getting back to school. I don't know I can't necessarily put my finger on it. But what I do know is that what helps is coming into the present moment. So I want to invite you in this moment to just put both feet on the floor and ground yourself. Feel yourself being held, being held by the floor, being held by the earth. And just take this moment just to notice that feeling of what it's like to feel grounded. Especially if you've been feeling like me and a little bit all over the place. So breathing into your heart as you also feel totally supported. And if it feels safe to do so. still allow the feeling of self-compassion to wash over you. For however, you've been feeling maybe you've been feeling amazing. That's wonderful. Maybe you've been feeling overwhelmed. That's wonderful, too. So allowing that feeling of self-love and self-compassion to go from the top of your head, all through your body down to the soles of your feet, which are still firmly grounded and planted on the earth. And then let that energy come right back up again. And if it feels good for you, allow it to leave you then go to all the people in your home

so that not only are you receiving this gift of love, but you are also sharing it with so many people who need that today. Taking one more deep breath into your heart and then maybe even setting an intention in your mind of what you're hoping to get out of listening to this podcast today and listening to my amazing guest who I'm so excited to learn more about. Okay, so getting into the good stuff. So my guest today is thero more and she is an energy wellness practitioner helping to bring her clients into balance and wellness using energetic alignment and customized energy coaching. She is a student of their master Choa Kok Sui basic pranic healing, advanced pranic healing pranic psychotherapy, and a dedicated practitioner of master shows our thick yoga. Thank you murdering that word. She is also a 20 year veteran master teacher of Reiki and they use Sufi tradition and through customized pranic Healing Sessions and meditation on twin hearts with the focus on chakras. cord cutting crystals and crystal spiral will help you learn about energetic hygiene. I love that it's function in your life and to help you break through your limitations. Welcome. Thank you for being here. Okay, so as I'm reading your bio, there are two things that like immediately jumped out to me that if it's jumping out to me, I'm assuming that who's ever listening to this right now is like, Oh, I want to know more about that, too. So the first thing was the twin hearts. What exactly is a twin heart? How would you describe that?
07:46
So the meditation on twin hearts is a meditation. That's based on the prayer of St. Francis of Assisi. So that's the basis of the prayer which is basically if you read the words, karma, right? So the words are you know, if there's hatred, let me sow love If there is, right so it's, it's
08:12
a back and forth, Ian Yang type of energy, okay.
08:15
Okay. Now the reason it's called the meditational twin hearts is because we have a heart chakra. And then, if you were to see the heart chakra, our crown chakra has a heart within it. So when we do the meditation on twin hearts, we're actually projecting love from the heart chakra. And love from the heart chakra within the crown chakra. And the reason for that is we want divine love to come down from above, and then also our own love to come out from our heart. And what we do is we bless the earth, every or every being, every living being above, on the earth and below when that beautiful energy so that we're not just blessing ourselves, but the earth and what we give, we receive.
09:06
I love that. That is beautiful. Yeah. So it's so interesting is so I study heart math. And so thinking of the science of heart math, where now we have all of this research to show that this connection between the mind the brain and the heart is so powerful and so it's almost like that what you just said about the twin hearts, it's very similar to heart math in a way. You know, that connection. It's just so funny how the masters and teachers who didn't have this science, right, we didn't have this logical method of knowing things, knew, you know, had this wise inner knowing that there was this connection between all parts of us that you know, we need to work on
09:59
and there isn't research that has been done that if you do the meditation on twin hearts daily, it actually does change mindset change how your heart is able to process information. Both hearts Right, yeah. So that you do end up with a calmer system over time. Yeah, lots of research out there about that as well. Yeah,
10:21
that's wonderful. So tell me a little bit more. I want to hear how you got into this work. You have so many amazing tools in your toolkit. What was the start of that? Was it your own anxiety that was like, Okay, I have to figure something out. I that was my experience. Like I'm, if I'm suffering, I'm like, I have to figure out how to heal myself. And immediately, yesterday, right.
10:50
So it's interesting, because when I started doing Reiki, it was because I felt like there was something missing. And so I started doing Reiki as a practice, but I could never quite get my own self to feel that sense of relief, right. And at the time, I didn't know it was anxiety, because I was, you know, 24. And I was like, I don't know what this is. Yeah. And so I kept practicing, but that, that worry that, you know, that feeling and, and I didn't also know where it was radiating from. Because I didn't quite understand all the chakras at that point. So I just felt it. But I kept practicing and kept practicing. And when I found pranic, healing, and I was explained, where all of these things reside in my body, the energy centers that start at the top and work our way down. And I've been, I finally understood that it was actually coming from my solar plexus, which is why I always felt like I was getting hit in the gut, like that. Feeling, right? Which I thought was my heart. But it was actually my solar plexus. And once I figured that out, and was taught how to remove that block, remove that energy and put clean energy in which is what pranic healing does. Okay. Um, I suddenly had relief. And I thought, Oh, I need to know more. Yeah. So then I started taking class to class, the class and I started healing. My husband and I started healing my friends, and I started healing my parents, and everybody was like, Oh, my God, what are you doing? And then I learned about cord cutting. And that, that changed it?
12:40
That was my second question. So I'm glad you brought that up, can you because I, so this is going to be two parts. I want to know a little bit more about the pranic healing. So let's come back to that. But tell me about the cord cutting. What is that?
12:52
So what happens is when the chakras spin back and forth, okay, so if you could imagine, you know, going right to left back and forth really fast. What happens with negative thought forms, which is what anxiety is, right? It's a negative thought form in some way, shape or form. Sometimes it's triggered by trauma. Sometimes it's just who we are. Right? We just have obsessive compulsive thoughts, or we just have we're just a worrywart people, right, people just tell me all the time, you're just a worrywart. Yeah,
13:27
well, it's that negativity bias. Right, right. Born with that looking out for survival, which really ends up killing us through anxiety.
13:36
Exactly. Most of us who are the firstborn, or tend to have more of that, that would be me. Yeah,
13:43
I don't I'm the babies.
13:46
Yeah. So it's, you know, just depends. It also depends on what's happened in your life. Regardless, what happens is, those negative thought forms if they're not managed early, they, they take root, so to speak, and they just keep going deeper and deeper and deeper into the chakra, to the point where they will line up and kind of, if you could imagine, like a worm digging a hole into the earth, they sort of dig themselves and root themselves into the spiritual Court, which is where the chakra attaches. And they just stay there, and they grow and they grow and they'll just kind of root themselves and kind of hang out there. Sometimes those turn into physical ailments. Because it's been there for so long. Sometimes it gets to become a worse psychological ailment. Okay, but if it just stays as anxiety, well or anything else, what we can do is we can scan the energy for what we call an energetic chord. Now it can be attached to an actual situation. So as I work with my clients, for example, I will ask them about things that have happened, we do some coaching around it, I will then go in and look for that cord. So that I know that we need to remove the cord from that situation for that person. And sometimes it's to another chakra because it's their own thoughts. So sometimes the cords are attached to each other, like from one chakra to another, okay? Because when we have obsessive thoughts, that tends to be what is it may not be a situation, it just may be something that we've created in our own minds, right. So what we do is we go in, and we very carefully pull that cord out and cut it, we fill that space with gold so that it doesn't come back. And then we fill the rest of that chakra with beautiful clean prana from either the earth, the air, or the song. I love that
15:57
I got chills when you were talking about filling it with gold, I think that is so important. Because sometimes when you're creating a new identity, and you're becoming a different person, or something that's even that's uncomfortable, that leaves you but that that you've identified with as you for so long, your anxiety can increase and it's it becomes oh my gosh, this is unsafe, I'm uncomfortable, I don't know what's happening. And so the idea of filling that and almost installing this new identity of who you are, and who you want to be in moving forward, under that just brings like just a calmer feeling over my body than like imagine, like pulling the cord out be like, see you later. You know, and then just leaving it there and hoping for the best. So I love that process,
16:49
which is why I think it's really important for people to understand that energy work can work in a couple of different ways, and every practitioner is different. I am very cognizant of the fact that if we're going to pull out those types of psychological courts, it is really important that you not just fill it, but that there's coaching after the fact. Because the reality is if somebody is sitting there and they're trying to find their new identity, you don't want to be left to your own devices. You need somebody to guide you through that process because it's uncomfortable. And it's close to be uncomfortable. But we want to teach you how to move through that quickly. And consciously. Right. So there's not just energy healing, that's where the energy coaching is so important.
17:41
Yeah. So what would you say to someone that's like, well, I've always just done it on my own. Like, I don't want outside influences. I don't want to hear what someone else has to say, sort of like the, you know, maybe type a type of people or, you know, maybe someone that's maybe more afraid of being vulnerable?
18:05
Sure, well, and a lot of people are afraid of being vulnerable. What I would say is, I'm not a psychologist, so I'm not there to do therapy, right? So what I would say is, first of all, if you're the type of person who an A type A personality, you clean your refrigerator, and you clean your home, and you clean your car, you change your sheets and all of those things. So having your system energetically cleaned is no different. So from the cleaning perspective, that's really important. Cleaning and balancing is very important for everybody, including myself, I have somebody who does it for me, right? The coaching part is really more about the other person telling me what they need, asking me questions, having me provide them with what balancing continuing energetics they need rather than me providing my perspective on things. Right. And I think that's the difference between me and other types of coaches is that I will provide mindset work, I will provide whatever it is you need, but I'm not going to tell you what you need. Right? I'm going to be there holding space for you to tell me what you need. I will offer you suggestions. I will give you practices, but they're really for you to decide how you implement them in your life. Yeah, very different from like a regular therapy session. Yeah, yeah. I love that.
19:38
You have that? Yeah, yeah. Well, it's sometimes it's just vulnerable, having acknowledging that there's a feeling around anything you know, it can be very scary to have a uncomfortable feeling especially when so often we're used to like let's push it away. Like we don't want to feel that feeling like that's really uncomfortable. Like, let's You know, most of us are trained to sort of run from, from sitting with that. But I love that you bring that trauma informed approach where the client is the expert, yes, that you are there as a guide that you are not, you know, telling them and because so often and I'm trained as a clinical psychology, social worker, and have been doing, you know, regular therapy for years and years. And one thing that has always driven me crazy is this idea of I am the expert, you listen to me, if you don't listen to me, you're being non compliant. Like, we hear that a lot, especially when I was working in hospitals, and like, oh, you're not taking your medication, you're not compliant patients and sort of this like, you know, above below, energy, which, like completely repulses me, to my core. And so I so appreciate when I speak with other coaches, or healers, or practitioners that really value that the client knows more than we do, because it's their life, and they've been living it every day. And so we're the guides, which hopefully can help them see the next guy that they need, that it's not going to be this, you know, codependent relationship, where it's like, let's take them to the next level so that they don't need us anymore. So who do you typically work with? Who is benefiting from your sessions? You know, I guess, is there a specific type of person that has to be ready for it, or it's really just for anybody, but you work with like a specific population.
21:48
So chronic healing in general is for anybody. Okay? Let me say this as well. Anybody can do it. Now, anybody can do it for themselves. If you're trying to do it, for others, and you need to take classes and all those things. There's a book master co wrote called your hands can heal you. I mean, you can you can learn how to do this on your own. Okay, is it breath work?
22:08
That's what I think of when I think of product healing, though it's interesting,
22:11
there is a breath component, but really, you're using your hands. Okay, kind of like Reiki a little bit. It is and that's private to people because I was I did Reiki for many years before I decided to switch my clients over to pranic healing. Okay, Reiki is fabulous. And it works. If you have a good practitioner works fabulously the differences between the two, just in a nutshell is pranic. Healing is more like acupuncture without the needles. Okay. And I use a protocol based approach that targets a specific area. Whereas Reiki is the same set of hand positions where you are the vessel to bring in this energy that heals. The problem with that I see with Reiki is that you're never taking out negative energy, you're only putting in good energy. Okay, healing, we're first removing the congested or diseased energy, then we're putting in the good energy. So that was actually done
23:16
in person, or can it be done virtually?
23:20
So all my clients are virtual right now? COVID? Sort of a that happens. Yeah, prior to that I was working out of a chiropractor's office, but I'm virtual is fine, because energy, everything is energy. Right? Right. But I also can do distance without seeing them if I have a prior relationship with them. So if somebody can't meet me, virtually, I can still do it. And then in person, of course, as well. Okay. Um, so that's why I switched Everybody over, because I was getting just amazing results once I was able to do pranic healing versus Reiki. Yeah. So then back to your original question. Yeah. Who is it for? Who
24:03
are you
24:04
I have found that they've come to me that I tend to end up with women who are either entrepreneurs, or moms that are not necessarily stay at home, but more of the full time kind of mom scenario. Here's why that happened. Because I am a mom who is also an entrepreneur. And because the trauma that ends up showing up for them is very similar. It's the I used to work in corporate and now I'm an entrepreneur. And, or I used to work in corporate now a full time mom. And there is a level of trauma that comes out of losing your identity or feeling as though you've lost your identity because really, you haven't, but you just have to reimagine it. Coming out of a nine to five, whatever that is, I don't want to necessarily Leave it at corporate but coming out of a nine to five, and changing to. I'm an entrepreneur with all this time, what am I supposed to do with myself? I'm never gonna make this happen. What was I thinking? Or coming home to a child with no handbook? Because there isn't one we know. And oh my god, I'm never going to be able to do this. Why did I think I could do this? Why did I just send them to daycare? The same trauma? Yeah. So those are the people that I tend to work with. Because the blockages in our energetic system are the same. And would you say
25:37
that, because you said your block was in your solar plexus? Are you finding that most of your clients have that block there? Okay, so tell me more like, what is the solar plexus? What is that? Where's the healing that has to happen in that center?
25:52
Okay, so the solar plexus is just below. It's where your breast bones meet just underneath your eyes, that soft spot, right? Okay. Yeah, just under your heart area. And there's a front and a back Solar Plexus in, in this healing that I do. And the front Solar Plexus is basically where you how's your lower emotions, but they're not necessarily bad. It's just your anxiety, your anger, your fear, your worry, all of those emotions are housed there. So what happens and it's the emotions we know that we have, right? It's the ones that we're aware of, we recognize the back solar plexus, which is just we have a front and back because it's it's a big chakra, right? It's still the same chakra, but it's just we address both sides of it. The back Solar Plexus is those repressed emotions, the ones we don't know about? That just kind of come up on us? And we're like, why do we? What happened? Why am I suddenly feeling like this? I have no idea what's going on. That's the back solar plexus. So when we feel that sense of worry, when we feel uncomfortable, when we feel anxious, when we feel fatigued for no reason, when we feel tense for no reason, or we think it's no reason we have those obsessive thoughts. What happens is that Solar Plexus is very overactive, and congested. Right. So if you weren't able to see it, it would be like, covered in gray kind of cloud with your room. And it would be spinning really, really, really, really fast. Yeah, so we just need to balance it back out, we need to remove all that gray, bring in some good, nice clean product, and just slow it down a little bit. That's all that's basically what we're doing. Yeah, I'm getting rid of that thought for. So when, when we do the product, like we also sort of try to replace the negative conversation you're having in your head with a positive conversation statement. The other one that tends to play a role is what we call the Arjuna. So people tend to think that the third eyes, the only chakra on our forehead, but actually right between your eyebrows is a chakra that we call the master or CEO. It's called the Arjuna. And it's the storyteller. It's the one that we tells all the other choppers What's going on? Yeah, yeah, the one that creates those obsessive thoughts. Yeah, so they are linked. And so we always work both when we're talking about anxiety.
28:42
Yeah, I love that I study human design. So Oh, that's fabulous. Yeah, so that's, you know, very familiar with the Azure. I am not very familiar with seven center. Even though I did study Reiki well, but I don't practice it. I did it for myself, ultimately. So where does someone begin? Let's say that they're okay. I have this anxiety. Maybe it's part of my solar plexus, where? Where do they start? Where do they begin to have that, you know, openness to looking at this information.
29:22
So I would say doing a very normal body scan, taking a moment to drop into yourself, whether it's through meditation, or just you know, laying down for a minute and just feeling throughout your body. Where are you feeling tense, right, so starting at your head, kind of how you dropped us in at the beginning, right? Just taking a moment to where am I feeling this in my system. Now I can tell you that 98% of us are going to say Oh, it's my shoulders and my neck because we are all like, you know, on our phones and we're in front of the computer and all those things. So we always Go like this. But I'm not talking about that, although that's a part of it. If you were to drop your shoulders down, and really think about where am I holding my attention, we tend to do this, which is I know you can't see me right now. So what we're doing watching, we're actually bringing our entire like, core backwards and our shoulders forwards. And what happens is, you're almost holding your breath. And that's because all that tension sitting in your solar plexus, which is controlling your diaphragm, from a physical perspective, that's what it's doing is holding your diaphragm closed, so that you're breathing through your lungs and not your stomach. So when you start to recognize that and you start to do your normal breathing, which means your stomach should fill up. And then when you exhale, it should go down. Then your diaphragms open again. And if you're not breathing like that all the time, your solar plexus is block. Interesting. Oh, mine's totally blocked. Yeah, most people is blaming masks,
31:09
but maybe it's I think it's my solar plexus.
31:12
That's where the stress center is. So it's very rare to find somebody doesn't have some stress. So let me just say that. Um, so most of us have it, the difference, the thing that you can do to immediately relieve some of it is first awareness, right and get your breathing back to normal. Because breath is cleansing. Just in general. If you are not ready to find a healer, which is fine, I recommend the following. And people always laugh at me when I say this go lean against the tree. And here's why. Trees are the center of all three types of clean products and trees grow down in the earth. So the earth is one area for clean products. They require the air and give us the air we need. And we give them the air they need. So we are simpatico and they require the sun. So they are basically living embodiment of the three areas of clean product. If you lean against a tree, it will give you its clean product so that you will feel calmer. It's not going to relieve everything but it will make you feel calmer. And a salt bath. regular table salt, you know your normal, not absolutely not Epson salt, and I'll tell you why. You can have Epson salt, like if you have sore muscles and things like that you take Epsom salt baths, that's fine, just add regular salt, also, Epsom salt opens, which is great. That's why it works for your muscles. But what we don't want is to open up things, and then have all that negative coming back in. So if you're going to use Epsom salt, just add regular salt because the regular salt disintegrates negative energy. Interesting. I
33:03
wonder if that's why I felt so much better. I started drinking Celtic Gracie salts every morning. That's why and felt so much better.
33:13
Yeah. integrating factor. Yeah. And that's why when you go to the ocean, and you come out of the ocean, most of the time, if you've been stressed, and you go into the ocean, you come out and feel much lighter.
33:31
Yeah, so interesting. Yeah, I love that. I love that tip. That's fantastic. So for someone that's listening, that's just really struggling, is there a message of hope or maybe a story of success that you could share that someone else has been able to, you know, overcome their anxieties or their struggles with this tool?
33:59
Absolutely. So I have had several people who have come to me who are non believers in energy work, for example, who have tested the waters, that's what they call them want to test the waters. And I say that's fine. Tell me how far you want to go with this. Sometimes it's one session and we just balanced them out and we clean them and they feel better. Sometimes it's an initial consultation, and I give them the same information that I just gave to you all, and they feel better. And that's okay. What I will say is anything that you can do to mitigate your stressors, and if you can't do that, taking just a few minutes a day for you, even if that's just sticking your feet in a salt bath Not your whole body, because not everybody likes to take a bath. Take a handful of salt, put it in a bucket, put your feet in there. And just breathe. It can be your normal breath. But just close your eyes, center yourself and breathe, you will find that by taking those moments just for yourself, you will feel better. Because we're busy. Moms, you are amazing. You are beautiful. Don't let anybody tell you that you're not doing it all. Because you are fantastic. I've been entrepreneurs. It's not easy. But it's worth every minute. And you will find your way. But you have to be quiet enough to get quiet. Getting quiet will solve so many things and but only has to be a few minutes. Anybody who tells you to do a 20 minute meditation everyday quiet a lot. do two minutes, and you will find peace. And just know that there's lots of people out there that have been in your shoes, myself included. And we're all we're all here. Yeah, I love that. Yeah,
36:18
thank you. So let's say someone is saying, Okay, how do I have a session? Where can people find you the best place to go?
36:27
So my website is more wellness studio calm and yes, there's three S's in there. I will tell you that I'm in the process of rebranding. So if for some reason you can't get me there, I am prana mama eight on Instagram, and prata mama on Facebook. And for breathing stuff. I have a freebie for you.
