Reverend Ben Cooper:

Hello and welcome to Elim church swanley you're joining myself, Reverend Ben Cooper for today's podcast. Yeah, thank you so much for joining us today we are in this house. We are in the Lord's house. We are in this little tiny recording room and we are podcasting as you are very aware and we are #christian Straight Talk. And wherever you are today, you know, this is the time. This is the time to rise up out of the trenches, we should be out of the trenches. We should be standing up for Christ. We have Simon Pinchbeck with us today, our good friend, and brother in Christ Jesus. And as we are working and move in and ministering together and just being together and finding the depth of each other's heart, what we are finding one thing's for sure is we got to stand up for Jesus, we got to stand up for Christ. And it's so good to have him in the house today, as we're just on the other side of the mics. And wherever you are around the world, I just want to encourage you to keep in the Word of God, whatever you do, wherever you are today, you have to get in the Word of God, there is nothing, there is nothing that is going to sustain you. There is no other literature out there. There is nothing on planet Earth, social media will lead you further away from Christ. liberal Christianity will take you to the gates of hell, progressive Christianity will do exactly the same thing. Do not get caught up in the wishy washy teaching that is within the UK. We have got to stand firm in the Word of God. And wherever you are, whoever you are keeping the Word of God because the enemies there, Simon,

Simon Pinchbeck:

it's a privilege to be back with you. Ben, its a privilege to be back and doing #Christian straight talk right? We're getting some momentum with the #Christian straight talk. And wherever you are out there, don't forget that. We nothing is off the table for us

Reverend Ben Cooper:

nothing

Simon Pinchbeck:

and you know, if you ever want to us to talk about something that you're not sure on clearly, and then please let us know. And we'll put something together and we'll talk about it with nothing, nothing. Yeah, absolutely nothing. Is is off the table. And we were smashing barriers of religion and traditional. I want to be going down any of those routes and we're just speaking what the Holy Spirit puts on our hearts spin and you said something there about keeping in the Word of God and guiding Well, that is starting the day off with with some positive scriptures of your life, man that that that would change your world.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah,

Simon Pinchbeck:

just just a half a dozen scriptures over your life each day would change your world. I saw something. You know, I don't do a lot on Facebook. I really it's not my cup of tea, really. But I clicked on it the other day and there was a Christian guy, allegedly Christian. asking this question he said, if you could name one Christian, but what would it be? And listen, you have a Purpose Driven Life this book that book that I just put? What about the Bible? Enough said

Reverend Ben Cooper:

and they pushed you know, we don't read the Bible in liberal Christianity. We don't do that offensive

Simon Pinchbeck:

at all, and you go on a desert island and you can only take one but what would it

Reverend Ben Cooper:

whats it going to be? I think I would take a purpose driven me

Simon Pinchbeck:

more than any other book in the world and he speaks to you. Every differently every time you pick up on the deeper you go, the more it reveals to you

Reverend Ben Cooper:

yeah, that's it. It will save you it will cleanse you. It will heal you it will guide you. You know, no pastors book No, No brother or sisters book is going to get you in into Heaven's glory. There is only one way to the Father. And his name is Jesus. I am the way

Simon Pinchbeck:

the truth and the life. Amen. Amen to that and

Reverend Ben Cooper:

he has the word.

Simon Pinchbeck:

That's it. And then you do some great stuff with with the guys who give out the Gideons Bibles don't hear. Yeah. And I give out the Gideons New Testaments and again, you know, put different stamps on them. But they have right little little New Testaments in Psalm. So tell us what the what the fellows said the other day when they came in.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

They run out of Bibles, they'd run out by run by or they given them out, they got to the market. They go out there and before they like get out of the car, they get the Zimmer frame all fired up and rumbling ready to go. And before they start walking, you know, they're in conversation. They're in prayer. It's all about Jesus. It's all about Jesus. They go out with a good amount of Bibles. And by the time they've gone round, and before they even get out of the carpark sometimes they come back and go, where are our Bibles? They're hungry for Bibles. Their world is actually hungry for Bibles. They

Simon Pinchbeck:

given out little tracks about themselves or my stories all about Jesus out The New Testament, yeah,

Reverend Ben Cooper:

the traditional Gideons Bible,

Simon Pinchbeck:

and we will one day but you must have listen a absolute stack load of stories about a cow in the hospice, you give an emotional testimony not only to the people that are in our service, but now the nurses and doctors and nurses,

Reverend Ben Cooper:

to the staff and to anyone that wants the Bible. You know what we've I've said this before, and sorry for repeating it. We went through a massive stage here of removing all literature that is that is man, man generated all about man, all that I understand. There are some great writers and authors out there and I take my hat off to you and God, God uses you. But I do believe that we are in a time where the church needs to come back to the word. Come back to the word like we got a magazine on this podcast in Taiwan. It's the magazine of hope, but that is, that is Gideons, that is Gideons, that is their own magazine. It's full of Scripture. It's full. So that is what we have here is just it's about the Bible. It's about the living word.

Simon Pinchbeck:

And, and we got a book coming out. And we've been we have Yeah, and that's about the living word. It's

Reverend Ben Cooper:

about the Word of God.

Simon Pinchbeck:

It's about our podcasts.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah.

Simon Pinchbeck:

It's about our podcast put into the written word. And we've seen that the draft of that, and the lady was telling us is done that grazing opportunity. Great job. And it's a really powerful books, I

Reverend Ben Cooper:

will give you a little bit. It's not about us. It's not about

Simon Pinchbeck:

the glory of God in His glory. And, yeah, so so we'll give you more details on that. When we know it's out. But it's just coming. They're just putting the finishing touches. as we speak. They're just photoshopping your picture. But there they are.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah, they give me a six pack, you know, give me spray tan me. You know, I got white teeth in it. It's all ready to go. So ready to go. But the word is God

Simon Pinchbeck:

praise god.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Isn't there a difference between the word of man and the Word of God?

Simon Pinchbeck:

Ben, you know this is a

Reverend Ben Cooper:

word of God as his spiritual food. It is the meat it is the honey. It is the power it is the life. It is everything that we need to know the word of God there is not never There can never be a book greater it is the book that is stolen the most that is burnt the most. That is got people angry over the most the Word of God

Simon Pinchbeck:

is the book The Scott people killed the most as well. persecuted among people angle on two pages of this throughout the world who are persecuted is Outland. Why because it's a living Word, the Word live. And when you read it with it with the inspiration of the Holy Spirit becomes revelation. And the sad thing is people are reading it without the Holy Spirit, and it's just information but when you read it with the Holy Spirit, the revelation that jumps out of you, and each time you read a passage that may be a read 100 times before there is something new coming to light you It's alive and it will save your life. Yeah, you know, it will save your life eternally.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

In fact, you know, it's it's such a clear scripture in in the Gospel of john where Jesus says, I am the way the truth and the life. And when you look at them three clear statements that he tells us, I am the way he says I am the life I am the truth, you know, and I am the way the truth and the life rather, it's really important to understand there is no way into heaven. No other way to the Father except through Christ Jesus, you have to go through him. To get to the Father, you have to be in the word. You've got to be in there. Now we, across this nation, I'm not I'm not giving us any airplay whatsoever. But the church really the church, if the church is the Church of Jesus Christ, it has to stand on the Word of God. And it cannot The Bible says do not add and do not take away

Simon Pinchbeck:

Yeah, definitely. And the true true gospel might you feel uncomfortable, Ben

Reverend Ben Cooper:

every every moment because it is dealing with sin is dealing with issues in my life that are not right is it challenges me? And it has to challenge me if God's word doesn't challenge me. lost for words, if God's word does not come over the pulpit and does not challenge me, the preacher or the teacher is not giving me the real word of God because God's word is sharper than a double edged sword. It will cut through

Simon Pinchbeck:

if you're sitting there believing that you're a Christian and you're sitting there in comfort.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah.

Simon Pinchbeck:

And you're sitting there thinking you've got it cracked down, I'm afraid you you're obviously you haven't gone down the wrong track.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

It's a different preacher

Simon Pinchbeck:

because we challenged every every hour almost on our thoughts, words and deeds throughout the day. And

Reverend Ben Cooper:

that's right

Simon Pinchbeck:

and coming back to what what what the Lord said what was said through through his, through his men in the Bible that written these things.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Come on,

Simon Pinchbeck:

it's just absolutely vital that We need and starting the day off with God's word rich speaking it out over your life not to name it and claim it. And I'm not saying that what I'm saying is that they use that you speak it out and that you're nothing without Jesus Christ. But you're everything with him. And you know that it says in Romans 847 you're more than a conqueror for Come on through him.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah, Christ says I am the door. So that's very significant the door

Simon Pinchbeck:

Yeah, knock on the door,

Reverend Ben Cooper:

I've got to go through the door to go into next area of life and that and when I go through the door as quiet when I go through the old I've got the oldest gone the newest come I am a new creation in Christ Jesus, I've got to go through Christ to see the change.

Simon Pinchbeck:

And the interesting thing about that, that's that's from Revelation for us. And yet the interesting thing about it, there was a picture done by a guy helmet. I just forget. Oh, yes.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah.

Simon Pinchbeck:

And, and there's Jesus standing at the door with the doors all covered in in ivy and all grown over. And he's got a lamp, you know. And when he finished the picture, people said, Oh, yeah, you made a mistake, though. You didn't put a handle on the door. He said no. To handles on the inside. So you've got to open a door.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah,

Simon Pinchbeck:

he's not gonna open the door.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah,

Simon Pinchbeck:

you've got to open the door and lay him in.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah,

Simon Pinchbeck:

when you came in, what's he gonna do? He's gonna lead you to the fall. And, man, that's where you

Reverend Ben Cooper:

got to be like to be, I've got to be led, I have to be led, that it is critical for me, as a human being to make sure that I am in the Word of God. And what is really powerful in that scripture that we've mentioned a couple of times, he says, I am the way, the truth and the life, no one can come to the Father except through me. But further on in that text, he makes it very clear. He says, I am in the Father and the Father is in Me. So when I come into Christ in Christ, I receive him not only do I just Christ come into my life, but I've got the Father, Son, Holy Spirit. So within me, I am completely filled with the Father, the Son, Holy Spirit, the Trinity, the power of God, the Father is with me

Simon Pinchbeck:

you've got Jesus to lead you and to follow, you've got the early, spirit who will convict you and inspire you. And you've got the loving arms of the

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Father,

Simon Pinchbeck:

Father, we can enter his throne room because of Jesus. And that really brings me on or brings us on to what we're going to talk about today, Ben, because I saw a little sermon by a guy called Carter Conlon, who's from Times Square church in New York. And he titled it and I'll start out sort of saying he titled it, taking the lamb out of the lion's mouth is interested in in two parts. Now, getting into the word just just before we get into the meat of this stuff, getting into the word Ben. Who's gonna stop ya, it was gonna attempt you who's going to try and stop you getting into that word of God? Well, we just got an enemy out there that's going to sort of pull you off that track is going to make something more attractive to you than to, you know, you look at this on YouTube. Look at look at this. Over here. Look, our family wants you over it. Rather than getting to God's word.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

The enemy is dressed in many suits. The enemy is dressed in in in many fine clothing, the enemy is dressed in clothes, clothing, the enemy is dressed in political suits. The enemy is dressed in a financial suit, the enemy is dressed in materialism, he will use so many different avenues to try and entice us away.

Simon Pinchbeck:

Yeah,

Reverend Ben Cooper:

definitely to try and entice us to draw us into something. And it's so easy,

Simon Pinchbeck:

it's so easy, so

Reverend Ben Cooper:

easy to slip in. When Christ was in the garden of guest seminary, he said to the free disciples, He said, stay and watch that you do not fall into temptation. Three times he mentioned that do not fall into temptation, the seduction of what the world is doing. The seductive way through way the way governments are subducting through the elite language that they use and they try to draw us in and then you've got those that addressed in other avenues, the finances and you can come come and work for us. Come on, come on, climb the career pole, get to the top of the ivory tower and it's empty.

Simon Pinchbeck:

Well, it's been I've had it recently I'm not you know, I've come to you a couple of times and said that I've been offered this or offered that you know, and we've sat down and we discussed it and you know we've decided you know it's this is from the world and from the Lord the Lord from the world is from the world and and here's the here's the deal with that. You know your your lamb.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah,

Simon Pinchbeck:

in the lion's mouth.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yes.

Simon Pinchbeck:

This is your calling your gift in your own personal relationship with Jesus Christ, which is a most Important thing that is in the, the that's your lamb in the mouth of of the lion, which is the enemy and

Reverend Ben Cooper:

take it back.

Simon Pinchbeck:

And and we got to take it back because that is the biggest lie Ben, I believe this is the biggest lie that the enemy tells believers. He says this, he says, you know that calling that you feel you've got that according to to do to do whatever God calls you to do. He says he says two things in either say because he knows you. He knows your past. He knows your background he allowed to say that Cory is right. And that calling is correct. But Now's not the time for you. Now's not the time, you've got a family to bring up you've got this to do you've got that to do. You really, really the book, you can come back to that later. So you'll say either that or it will say that call is for something that really for someone else, you ain't good enough to take that call. You're not who you think you are. Who do you think you are?

Reverend Ben Cooper:

You got no money. Look around.

Simon Pinchbeck:

And if you're, if you're, if you're not a believer, if you not my Jesus Christ, your Lord and Savior, you'll recognize this lie. And this lie is coming out. You're right from the pit of hell this is this lies this. You know that Jesus, and all that stuff. That's true. And that's great, he said, but not for you right now. You've got to enjoy yourself a little bit more, go and have a bit of freedom. And you can always come back to it. And that's a lie that will take absolutely millions of people away from the Lord and the only other one for for Christians is a lie that derails them completely.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Follow Jesus tomorrow.

Simon Pinchbeck:

Follow Jesus tomorrow.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Follow him tomorrow

Simon Pinchbeck:

why because men are the biggest procrastinators out there. So your mind straight in your bind straight in to that that laziness also put it off tomorrow. he

Reverend Ben Cooper:

uses religion as well, where he he he uses false teaching false doctrine very easily. And he brings that God loves you. God loves you. God loves you. God does love you. The devil knows the Scripture and he is right. God does love us. But what God doesn't love is me living and aligning my sin all day long. But there is a false teaching and a false message that is not coming out of sound doctrine. And the church and the liberal church and the progressive Christianity and the the friendly seekers, church that will tell you you can without telling you you can carry on in your sin because Jesus loves you. You can continue to live outside of marriage but Jesus loves you. You continue to sleep with that man on that woman is fine. Don't worry, Jesus loves you, you can, you can continue to drink because we won't really talk about that you can continue to get more, you can continue in that because Jesus loves you. And

Simon Pinchbeck:

so basically, it's it's completely opposite to the Word of God. So if if you're not in the word, if you're in a world, you know, you know what's right, you know what's wrong, you know what God's word is, and, and, and

Reverend Ben Cooper:

for the power of repentance and further power Christ bringing you to a place of sane inside of you without anybody else knowing when you can live like that. So you conviction. liberal Christianity doesn't have conviction. It has ethics, it has world view morals.

Simon Pinchbeck:

And while you're sitting there in you know, might be lying there in bed, or sitting there in your lazy boy chair watching this or watching that, or too busy running around to get into God's word. God's looks on you as a mighty warrior. You're his mighty warrior. And you are called to bring glory to His name, but you can't bring glory to His time. If you're not doing the things of God, or you're not into the Word of God, and not obeying the Word of God, how can he use you to bring glory to His now he can't, he can't, he can't exhibit that.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

But then we get caught in a cycle of, well, I'm living in sin. I can't do what he but then the devil uses that Lucifer uses that to entice us in trappers in that lie of i don't think i don't think of God really wants to use you because do you know do you know you're stuck in the bottle? But didn't you ever use your stuck? Just just carry on?

Simon Pinchbeck:

It's like the enemy.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah, it fuels it

Simon Pinchbeck:

too big hands and he's keeping you down there. But there's a battle on and we know Ben is about along right now. And it's a biggest spiritual battle there is. The cross is a huge spiritual battle. And you got to either continue lying down in your medicine in your dog or you can rise up

Reverend Ben Cooper:

and the way you rise, rise up. The way you rise up is you simply say Father, I cannot continue any more. Father, you got extra This route Father, you got to deal with me because Lord, I know you do Love me, law but I don't want to love this sin and this lifestyle, more than I Love You, Lord help me because I cannot. I cannot continue any more in this stuff that I'm going for, Lord, I cannot indulge anymore in the seduction. The church is telling me that I can almost go Well, I can. Religion is telling me very clearly for a liberal Christianity that, that science and ethics and and the worldview is is is God loves you. God loves me but God also says Ben you got to stop. There comes a point when the Holy Spirit brings you to conviction, conviction will bring me to where to the cross, where all the cross bring me to it will bring me to Christ. What will Christ bring me to bring me to his forgiveness on washed in the blood of Jesus?

Simon Pinchbeck:

Amen. Amen. Ben knew that you just downloaded it's just downloaded the way out and this thing and it

Reverend Ben Cooper:

has to be and we remember God's promises don't we remember God's promises you know what these days is Satan a mountain you know, be raised up and cast into the sea. He says no, you will never leave you off the same you know, God can't lie Can he can't that sin that will live in my is not going to define you anymore. That that temptation that you are in that you are crying in that even though you're smiling on within your on your on the outside of the skin that you're in, inside your heart is broken you want and you are hungry to change, but I cannot change without saying Father help me. I need him totally to bring the change in

Simon Pinchbeck:

the way you described. earliest is a simple downloaded steps to do it. Yeah, because we can only fight this battle for Jesus on the cross. Jesus won that battle for us. For us, yeah, the price has been paid.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah,

Simon Pinchbeck:

prices have been paid solely. So we can stand against the enemy and a pair of Jesus Christ calling

Reverend Ben Cooper:

we can. But I Christ brings me to a place of a clear place of saying, Come on. Come on, and, and he will, he will keep calling and that can that can be over a journey of ours. That can be a journey of mumps, that can be a journey of yours. Where Where do you know what? God Christ whatever way you want to look at this Christ save you. Christ, save me Christ save Simon, even why we will still live in a sinners. Why we were still living he still chose to go to the cross. It doesn't matter how black how dark your life might look. He can set anyone free.

Simon Pinchbeck:

Amen

Reverend Ben Cooper:

he does love you.

Simon Pinchbeck:

Yes,

Reverend Ben Cooper:

he does love you. The devil is right with that one. The church is right. liberal Christianity is right. He does love you. But he doesn't want you to continue to stay in the skip of the UK what the world is offering you. There is more

Simon Pinchbeck:

and your right? So through Jesus Christ, we can get those strongholds broken.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah.

Simon Pinchbeck:

But you're not going to go from a all the way through to Zed. Very quick, you know, one step at a time is on 20 for one step at a time. But you know, I won't. Look. If we go look at David Ozu. It was a real great inspiration for all really in in, in one Samuel 17. David talks about how he used to defeat the lions just

Reverend Ben Cooper:

thats right. Yeah,

Simon Pinchbeck:

he defeated the lazy you run after the lion. He took the sheep out of the mouth of the lion,

Reverend Ben Cooper:

but there's action isn't there.

Simon Pinchbeck:

There's action.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

So if Dave is out on the hillside and looked at the enemy, and just sat there and looked at the enemy, and allowed the enemy to continue, it would have eaten and taken the lamb.

Simon Pinchbeck:

I mean, he could have just turned his back he's got loads of lambs he got he could have just gone Yeah, let him have that one. Actually, in the scripture that he grabbed hold of his beard and you imagine bergeon that so he's he's actually gone after this thing.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

And who is he? a 16 year old young skinny bone boy basically because how do you know, he's skinny bone because when that great Prophet came to anoint him his brothers were puffed up Jim that pumped up steroids it up Pump right up. Look at me,

Simon Pinchbeck:

folks. I don't know there was steroids. But but so put his armer around him. I think it's a bit big

Reverend Ben Cooper:

you imagine there was nothing about

Simon Pinchbeck:

this line must have been used. So imagine to reach out on probably

Reverend Ben Cooper:

a boys a boy or to pull his beard

Simon Pinchbeck:

and took the lamb out of his mouth or the

Reverend Ben Cooper:

strength that took to pull the beard to fight to hold the lion off.

Simon Pinchbeck:

So see David. David, when he was

Reverend Ben Cooper:

what did he have?

Simon Pinchbeck:

He was being trained Ronnie God was training. He had a heart after God. And he was training that heart Well, that's, that's where we got it. I

Reverend Ben Cooper:

am the good shepherd. The shepherd. The shepherd goes in, into the lion's den.

Simon Pinchbeck:

Yeah,

Reverend Ben Cooper:

me Shaq shamrock and the Bendigo. Who Who is the fourth one in the fire? Who is the one standing with you right now. It's not your pastor. It's not your leader. They're not going to jump into the arena of a fisticuffs review. And now they're going to start their desk. They got risk assessments to sort out for Boris. They can't they can't jump into the arena. So when you look at Christ, you look at David. So you look at David, a young shepherd boy, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus is the Good Shepherd. He will come down into the arena where that lion very interesting now the Lion of Judah, and the other lion, yeah, yeah, he copies he's, he imitates he copies.

Simon Pinchbeck:

Oh, totally.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

So we have the Lion of Judah. We have David, the young shepherd boy that sees that this young lamb this young sheep is in trouble in the mouth, in the mouth of society in the mouth. He Christ looks down across the plane, he looks down and he sees that shape. He sees me that has been enticed and being caught by the Lion of deception. The Lion of government the Lion of lies, the Lion of Lucifer has grabbed me. See, the lion will grab what a sheep. But what am I? I'm a sheep

Simon Pinchbeck:

what does he say ben, he says, it says he will leave the sheep in the pen to go after the one that was last. So So is coming after the last your last he's coming after you is

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah,

Simon Pinchbeck:

he's there for you.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah.

Simon Pinchbeck:

So as you said, He's gonna Jesus wants to take you out of mouth of the lion if you were but you week, you You said something there a few moments ago. It takes action. We cannot just sit there and expect things to happen. It takes action. And and so to get going victories in public a god we've said it time and time again, I've got room made on your knees in private, you've got come to the Lord, as we've said it many times, to the Lord in private to to get trained to get home to get that stuff out your life. Because the enemy's plan is to take your gift and it's to take your calling.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah, so for those who's watching David at that particular point,

Simon Pinchbeck:

no one no one's no one. But God was so over watching and protecting him.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

So your biggest battle can happen in your most loneliest moment. Yeah know when you've got no audience you've got no brothers. You've got no six foot five brother beside you.

Simon Pinchbeck:

And before you remember the scripture itself, Ben I think he said to his brother did you did you see what I did with the line and his brother said oh yeah, leave it

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah, see another story See?

Simon Pinchbeck:

Yeah, yeah, so so no one

Reverend Ben Cooper:

no one will see your biggest battle no one will see

Simon Pinchbeck:

and no one will see your biggest victories now. Accept God

Reverend Ben Cooper:

accept God

Simon Pinchbeck:

and and then he can use you to give his glory but we're not walking around on Facebook saying

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Look at me

Simon Pinchbeck:

look at me after feet on you know on this social media that social media Look at me I'm I'm free from this I've done this you know 17 years ago the day you know I gave my life to the Lord blah blah blah No,

Reverend Ben Cooper:

no, no, but there is a there is a there is a certain church out there that is doing that. Look at me look at me look at me. So you might be in the lion's mouth at this very moment. You might you might be the law you might be that that shape that's in the lion's mouth. The line of culture the line of society. The line of lies the line of government the lion and what does the lion do? The lion is a very clever Hunter

Simon Pinchbeck:

is a clever hunter Ben but but but I know he know I'm going to say then you because he won't be too What is his say? He says you know Peter says the line you know the enemy our enemy. roars like a stand up to him.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Exactly.

Simon Pinchbeck:

So no matter how scary

Reverend Ben Cooper:

what did David though he ran down,

Simon Pinchbeck:

stood up to him ran down the line.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah. How do we know that he ran because David had to run because the lion is so quick. And he is so strong. The enemy is quick. The enemy is strong to a degree. But greater is He that is in me than he that is in the word he constantly goes to when he can't stand against the word.

Simon Pinchbeck:

Yeah. When when spoken in the right context. Yeah, right.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah, in the right way when so when you look at David, there's so much to come from this story of this lion in this lion that has hold of this, this young lamb that that is a very clear picture of how government and how education and how liberal Christianity and progressive Christianity In the world and culture has our children. Our children are in the wrong grip, the wrong line? And are you going to be the parent that is going to be like David that is willing to run down to that area and say, You're not taking my child. You're not taking my child, I'm not going to allow that false teaching. I'm a believer, David was what David was, was a man David was a young boy. And what does the scripture say? It says that he had a heart after God, if you've got a heart after God, you are going to be expected, just like David to go and save his lamb. You are expected to go down into the arena of education into the arena of the elite into the arena of certain circles where people are looking at you and saying you're not taking my young

Simon Pinchbeck:

and as this listen you're right Ben, you know this line will imitate the Word of God iL iL ra il it'll be a scary as what he do, he can be but we know that. There's a scripture out there that says, all weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty before God to a pulling down strongholds. So we go in, armed with the Word of God covered in the blood of Christ.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Amen.

Simon Pinchbeck:

And yeah, well, I think it's important I think that's part two of this message is, is I don't know if you've got children out there or grandchildren. But he's coming after him.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

You gotta take your children back.

Simon Pinchbeck:

We got to take the children back. We've got to take the children back

Reverend Ben Cooper:

the line or gaming the line of gaming the gaming world has add children

Simon Pinchbeck:

and what seems so what you're saying is Ben what the what the enemy is saying okay, you can go on with God but I'm having your children yeah have a new family. Yeah, I'm coming after them.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

I'm coming up to the young I'm coming after the the the young it was it talks about a lamb it's meek it's tiny. The lion is ferocious the line of society is ferocious the line of government wow

Simon Pinchbeck:

is coming is

Reverend Ben Cooper:

ferocious is gonna come in at full strength. The lion is so strong. And it is so powerful and it is intimidating. Culture is intimidating.

Simon Pinchbeck:

And it's coming at kids like no other time.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

What does the occult world What does the occult world go after Halloween?

Simon Pinchbeck:

children

Reverend Ben Cooper:

children

Simon Pinchbeck:

all the time children

Reverend Ben Cooper:

What does the elite want? What does when you look at pedophile rings? What are they after?

Simon Pinchbeck:

Children

Reverend Ben Cooper:

children? Yeah, and what are government's after now? children?

Simon Pinchbeck:

Yeah, after kids,

Reverend Ben Cooper:

kids, what is education after kids if we can program children to think a certain way a worldview? We have captured them through ideology. We have captured them through aggressive teaching. Look at the Word of God. The Word of God has been a raised out of most schools.

Simon Pinchbeck:

And as a parent or grandparent, we have a spiritual right. We have a spirit and a right yes, I am taking back are children.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah, definitely.

Simon Pinchbeck:

But what's the government saying now ben? The government is saying? What 16 and 17 year olds don't need parental consent? That's what they're saying.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah.

Simon Pinchbeck:

you cant vote until your 18

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah,

Simon Pinchbeck:

you can't you know, it's just crazy. What's going on? So we as parents and grandparents, we so it's all Christian? So Christian duty

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah.

Simon Pinchbeck:

To get involved with what is your child watching?

Reverend Ben Cooper:

What are they been taught?

Simon Pinchbeck:

What I've been they've been taught, what Where are they going? What are their friends like because, you know, suicide amongst the younger has risen into higher level.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

And we say to ourselves, well, actually, I don't agree with that. I don't see how the line of society has got my child. Have you got a TV in your house?

Simon Pinchbeck:

It's got your child look, no, have you got suicide drugs pornography, sex, gender confusion. It's it's all their

Reverend Ben Cooper:

TV, everything comes through the TV, YouTube, the TV,

Simon Pinchbeck:

social media, this is more pressure on kids now for social media. But what is your right to? Yeah, you know, I said to you outside, you know, I have been called many times to go and speak to youth groups and to you know, what, I found I find youth groups the most difficult to speak to because they may be the church might think they've got a great youth leader. But when you get there is just a place for the baby sitting for two hours and this. There's no there's no rules or regulated This is all sorts of stuff coming going on that shouldn't be going on. You got we got and usually there's a crossing over line. So we have to check. Stay there. See what's going on. See what's going on. Have you with your children and it necessary say your child back out that a mouth of of the lion but he

Reverend Ben Cooper:

got to take

Simon Pinchbeck:

care of it got it we've got to do it because

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Simon said and as an as the airways and as the government departments has said is that you're working with we're gonna we're gonna get your children. But before all this came around they already come in after the children. Lucifer has already come after the children through force teaching at school through education. We can bail you once you can wear what you want, you can wear a dress today and where where where you build as boats in the morning. You can wear what you want, you can dress out your one on one you can gender fluidity, we've got an embrace. See, this is liberal Christianity. This is progressive Christianity. And this is what the devil is fuel in his fuel in ideology. He's fueling false teaching, that you can be anyone you want, but Jesus loves you.

Simon Pinchbeck:

But we need to realize then that this is the enemy's plan from the start this stuff is to come after the case. What did he say? What did Pharaoh say to the Israelites? You know, men can go out there you can go out to desert believers, the kids.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah. Because if we can train the kids up if we can program their minds, if we can indoctrinate them with our way with our way What did God say to the Israelites when you go into the land of Canaan? Don't do what the Canaanites are doing now God calls we won't we promise we promise. Okay, now what do I do? Because rough me back. Hey, oh, I'm partying. I'm adopted the act so just because we might call ourselves Christians. Doesn't mean to say that we are not gonna live on the wrong side. The Israelites will call they was chosen. They will bless they was they was God's status. You know, we're getting that. But when they went into then when they went into the foreign land when they went into that land that God given them just because the enemies live in like it doesn't mean to say I can live like it.

Simon Pinchbeck:

No, you're right. Ben and And Pharaoh, Pharaoh did say he wanted to keep the kids up against him. Tony was estates said no, everything is coming with us. I've goats or sheep, our kids are all coming with us. Our house is coming is coming with us. And you said something our house. That's the thing. So we have to make sure that our house that our house is in order. So we have to make sure that the word spoken in our house are not words that because words are seeds, and they'll go deep. So we'll do another podcast on encouragement and now our words are used. But children I see all the time in grown men, they remember what was said over them in the maybe just an off the cuff comment that you'll never achieve anything What have you done at school, that's, you know, you're nothing bah, bah, bah, they remember that I live with that. So we have to be careful what we say, in our own homes. Even this morning I was in a car park and I heard such vile language of a mum shouting to kids. Those words go in

Reverend Ben Cooper:

words are powerful,

Simon Pinchbeck:

powerful. They're very, very

Reverend Ben Cooper:

james makes it very clear today. James talks a power of the tongue. You know, time is it time is flying. We've got like eight minutes and let's just come to my heart on this moment, is while we're talking on what we're talking about is what we got to make sure is when you look at lots Sodom and Gomorrah, can I put it to us that Sodom and Gomorrah is at our front door? Sodom and Gomorrah is at our front door lock lock was defending his door. You're not coming in, but he was defending it? Was he defending it for his girls? No, because he said you can have you can have me daughters do what you like with them? But he was defending his front door. But he was defending the front door of the two angels that came from heaven. He he said you're not touching them. Now, Sodom and Gomorrah is at our front door.

Simon Pinchbeck:

That's interesting. Ben so so our battle is in our own house.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah,

Simon Pinchbeck:

the biggest battle is in our own house. So we have to you know, no weapons are not carnal. So we got to speak out these scriptures over our over our lives over our houses. We've got to put that over the door of

Reverend Ben Cooper:

everything. You've got to come back to Exodus,

Simon Pinchbeck:

you've got to come back

Reverend Ben Cooper:

you've got to come back to that process. Yeah, you've got to come back to that the blood will be a sign the blood will be a sign for the angel of distraction or the Angel of Death depending on what translation you read from. That we're going to pass over. We're going to I will pass over. God says old Passover, but if you're not covered in the blood, Ecclesiastes chapter 11, verse three, wherever a tree falls, it will stay. If I die. A non believer I will stay

Simon Pinchbeck:

or if you don't believe or if you just sitting in your in your armchair. Not really caring what No, no, then you Virtually and in your family I would mouseover

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah.

Simon Pinchbeck:

You got to pray for him. Every single day you got to speak scripture in our lives every single day. And you got to be careful. Careful. You know you. You said it before we just before we came in Psalm 91, he will cover you with his wings. Amen. Come on, come February. We have got to be like, we got to stand out. That's right. Got to be the stand up. And we have got to be follow the line of Judah. We got to be that mighty, puts those arms and come around. I remember years ago, there was an advert. I think it was for as crazy for house insurance. But it put like a castle around, you know, protection around protection. Yeah,

Reverend Ben Cooper:

yes,

Simon Pinchbeck:

we have got to be that.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah.

Simon Pinchbeck:

Because we aren't bent. No one else will it but you're right. The education is gone down a pan. We're not then the you know, Christianity is just another religion. Jesus Christ is not the only way to the, to the top of the mountain and no, so we have to, we have to make sure that when we take responsibility,

Reverend Ben Cooper:

yeah,

Simon Pinchbeck:

listen, we have to stand in the gap for our families.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

100%. So

Simon Pinchbeck:

we have to do that.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah. And as believers, and as we're coming to bring this, and simons gonna close in prayer. In just a few moments, I just want to reference again, I just want to reference Sodom and Gomorrah. The UK is a modern day Sodom and Gomorrah, and it is at your front door of this very hour. And you might be signed and disagreeing to me, which is that's fair. And I'll continue to love you for that. But when you look at what is coming to us, when you look at what is coming at us, and you might be standing at the front door, you might be protecting it, you might be a loving parent, husband or a wife, whoever you are a new are really defending everything. But if you've got a TV in your house, it's already in the programs, the adverts. If you've got a gaming, media, yeah, it's in the house. If you look at what your children are gaming with and gaming on, if you look at the game, Sodom and Gomorrah is in is in many homes.

Simon Pinchbeck:

oh it is there? Yes, there is.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

It's very close, and it's quite hard hitting. But hey, #Christian Straight Talk. That is the severity of where we sit, you know, you haven't got the church at your door, you haven't got the Jehovah Witnesses at your door, you haven't got no evangelist at your door. Sodom and Gomorrah is looking to take your front door out. It's those were coming in what did them young men and old men want to do? We want to get in your house. We want to get in your house with

Simon Pinchbeck:

your right ben. and you know, sadly, in it's already in there, it's not a front door. We haven't painted the blood of Christ over the older lentil.mWe haven't done that

Reverend Ben Cooper:

the theif comes to steal, kill, and destroy.

Simon Pinchbeck:

He can't tell the truth hes the father of lies. He will lie, lie, lie, Don't lie. It will wrap everything up. So it looks so amazing. But

Reverend Ben Cooper:

it'll wrap it up in a line that says at present, man,

Simon Pinchbeck:

it's an empty present

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Come on. simon you better bring us down to land.

Simon Pinchbeck:

Well, you know, we've touched on some really, really powerful stuff today. And you know, first of all, wherever you're listening to this wherever, you know, first of all, if you're listening to this on maybe a park bench or you're lying in bed, or whatever your first port of call your first victory is to stand up, get out, get out and start starting and start researching. Start looking into the Word of God. start speaking out scriptures over your life and start answering, moving towards that core and all that gifting. Do not let anyone tell you out there that you're No, no, you're no good or you can't achieve anything. Don't let any voices in your head say that you know, repel them with Scripture. Tell them that you can do through Christ who strengthens you tell them that. You've got a god he will never leave you or forsake you tell him you become in a listen. If the devil tells you tries to remind you about your past, tell him that he's defeated in the future because he is that's what we've got to do. Don't let anyone tell your kids they're no good. Don't even check on what your teachers, sports coaches, our other kids are saying to them, they are beautiful gifts from God and just you know, on that point, you know, they are not vectors of disease. They are beautiful gifts from great guy and keep them you know, I pray that you'll be kept safe. And we just want to pray that wherever you are out there that that you all use God's weapons of warfare, our weapons of warfare to pull down straight Got any strong goals in your life? We have to win our own battle in our own houses. as Ben has said, we have to see the victory of the paint that the blood of Jesus over the door of through Jesus Christ when you know we can achieve anything through Jesus Christ, that is the truth and release our children to be the people that God made and that they put a ring of fire around and put a ring of major protection around our father. And let them be a harvest of people being raised up to give you the glory in Jesus name. Amen.
