- Step 1-Think about the Source (of pain)- what structure/tissue is generating the pain. How do your symptoms present? What area do you experience pain- the Jaw (temple pain), shoulders, eyes?
- Step 2- Is it a Developmental Problem?
- Step 3- What is the Environment the pain is perceived in? How is your gut health and inflammation? Do you have a hormone imbalance? Do you have a history of exposure to toxins? All of these things impact your Threshold and a lot of these issues can be addressed by Functional Medicine.
