This is one of those long-time coming episodes where I take you through my very own linear career change journey.

In this candid episode, I open up about my 3-year transition from misaligned corporate jobs to building my own coaching practice. I talk about how:

  • I experienced years of inner turmoil and unhappiness working in management consulting and public sector roles that felt inauthentic;
  • I quit jobs without a plan, taking solo soul-searching trips to Iceland and Portugal to get clarity;
  • Iceland helped strip away my former identity and connect me to my true self through nature;
  • After realizing I needed to be self-employed, I gradually transitioned by studying coaching while still working corporate jobs;
  • I overcame intense fears of being perceived as a "wacko" life coach by former colleagues;
  • I took imperfect action by starting to coach before feeling fully ready to gain clarity;
  • I transitioned by getting a job with flexible remote hours which gave me safety to build my practice.

I also share the most pivotal moments, doubts, and emotional journey I had to embark on in order to help others find aligned careers.
