2020 is my eleventh year of fighting metastatic papillary thyroid cancer–I have had thyroid cancer nearly half of my life. Through this podcast, I want to be able to give other thyroid cancer survivors and fighters some comfort knowing they are not alone. Fifty percent cancer is scars AND smiles; the good, bad and the ugly. I'm here to help inform everyone about thyroid cancer, as well as share the amazing things thyroid cancer survivors and fighters are up to.

Amber will "call in" with her story about being diagnosed with follicular thyroid cancer and how her family was helpful during diagnosis and surgeries. Chloe will share some helpful information from Cancer.net on talking to children at all ages about their cancer, ending with a preview of next week's episode.
