Parracide Child, Christopher not so Dank Dankovich featuring Forge the Sun

In the affluent suburbs of Detroit,  Rochester Hills,  what seemed like a perfect family was shattered when their son, Christopher Dankovich decided to take his mom's life.   Listen in on how and why Christopher lost it and murdered his mother.   You will also hear about how he's turned his life around in prison.

1. April 2005 Christopher is a freshman at Rochester Adams High school.

1. His mom, Diane, is a counselor, social worker, hypnotherapist and a minister.

1. His dad, James, is a chiropractor in Troy.

1. They lived in the suburbs of Detroit, in Rochester, MI.

1. The couple had only one child, Christopher Dankovich.

1. For the most part, Christopher was known as a good kid.  He was a freshman in high school and on the honor roll.

1. Recently though, he had been getting into more trouble than normal.  Even going so far as to die his hair blue.  

1. He also had a new girlfriend, and it was Known that Diane didn't like her.

1. 4. On a Spring Saturday April 23,2005 Christopher snuck out of home at Dad's in Troy MI.

1.  Police found him trying to enter a school at in Bloomfield hills.

1. Police took him into custody & his DAD picked him up later that day.  

1. While Christopher was at his dads, Diane found some things in his room that truly disturbed her. 

   12.  Mom found homemade firearms plus searches on their computer about making home made guns and of course, pornography.

1.  The very next day Sunday 3rd April 24, Christophers eventful weekend with his father had ended.

14.       James took his son to his mother’s home.

15. Christopher had to have a bit of an intervention.

16   His parents sat down at the table and co-parented the shit out of this boy.

17  They were displeased at the rebellious attitude emanating from Christopher.

18. Later that evening James tried to call Christopher, but when he did not answer he called Diane.

19  Neither of them would answer his calls and he didn't like that at all.

20. He called Diane's mom and fled her in on current events.

21. Mom decided she would go over to Diane's the next morning.

22   Monday morning mom goes over to her daughter, Diane's house.

23  She finds a crime scene.

24. Imagine checking in on your daughter and finding her body savagely killed savagely stabbed to death.

25. She realized that Christopher and Diane's van was gone.

26. Mom called the police who responded to the grisly murder scene.  Diane was found in the foyer, unresponsive and sadly doa.

27. The crime scene did not contained to one area... as many are not. However, this one was especially crude and messy with zero attempt to clean or hide evidence.

28. On the scene a folding knife was found -that had blood & hair on it.

29  Blood was everywhere in the house. Droplets Drops on the floors, in sinks,

3o. Clothes, soaked in blood in' the laundry room.

31. Mom filled police in on what had happened with the family the night before and also about Christophers changing behavior.

32   with the scene the way it was left, and Diane's van & Christopher gone the obvious first step suspect would be 15 yr old Christopher. Fifteen. He was only 15.

33 .. MSP put out an APB on CD!!

34. It wasn't long before the minivan was seen.

35. Someone had called in to see the van near Twin Lakes.

36. Guess who had a cabin in twin Lakes?

37 -James did. Christophers father.

38 . Police eventually surrounded the cabin that Christopher was hiding in.

39. Luckily, the capture went down with no problems. Pretty lucky considering Christopher was in the cabin with his own arsenal,

40. He had learned how to Make guns with PVC pipe!!!

41. He also had loaded himself up with survival gear, probably learning all about it on the web by the over board freaks.

42. it seemed as though Christopher was going big or going home.

43. Since arriving at the cabin, he had changed his appearance by shaving his head as he had colored it blue in his rebellious streak.  

44. The police surrounded the cabin where  Christopher surrendered.   He confessed his sins to all mighty police.

45. Claiming he had NOT planned the act of Parricide,

46. Christopher, despite having looked up weapons info on the interweb -- says he did not plan to freak out and brutally kill his mother with a 4” blade.

47. He said he was in an argument w/his parent because of his porn? Weapons website visits.

49. after the talk his parents had with

him - his dad left and I guess this is when Christopher grabbed his Knife and attacked his own mother.

50. Diane wasn't stabbed once or twice in a crucial place, like the jugular, to kill her.

51. Diane was stabbed 111 times. That's one hundred and eleven times.

52. In fact, there was little on her body that was NOT stabbed.

53. Unugh- how does a coroner even start the count?!

54  .Why did this 9ᵗʰ grade boy, an honor roll student suddenly... or not so suddenly lose his shit that day? 

55.  Some news clips said that he was claimed he was on a mission from God to save the children. shit,  god doesn't even care to save the Children.

56. Christopher had no previous violent tendencies. Friends & family would all attest to this.

57. The weapons he was looking how to make were for abortionists and child pornographers

58. Christopher at age 16, stood handcuffed in the court room, just a kid stating, "I'm 16. Killed my mother by stabbing her."   …with a 4” knife, 111 times!

59   Court was not easy for anyone involved.  Christopher initially pled guilty but withdrew that plea and it was changed to 2nd degree murder.  

60  Christopher had options but chose to take responsibility, I guess. 

*He was checked out mentally and came out clean.  So it was then decided that he would be tried as an adult. 

61. Judge John J. McDonald found him guilty of 2nd degree, not premeditated murder.

At first Christopher was held at what we call the “Childrens Village” in Pontiac.  It’s a juvy detention center. 

He was later moved to prison where he had to be in solitary confinement and /or with guards all of the time for his safety due to his age. 

62. In court, the judge verbally went back & forth with Christopher a bit.

63  Judge John McDonald said what is so weird & scary is that he was an honor roll student, not a so-called problem child. It made it all so much crazier.

65. Christopher did express regret, thanked the judge, said he was sorry: then he was led off.

66. Christopher was sentenced in May/2006.  He will spend 25-37 years in prison

67.  This is when your Highness goes on the usual rant of our prison system. How they call it a correctional system but doesn't tend to turn out corrected humans.

68. Christophe, however, r bopped into the correctional facility though and flipped some views right over. Normally, I'd call b. s. and even claim they were faking or something just to get out early.

69. This dude though. He is utilizing his time in prison to learn and to learn a lot!

70 He earned his ged. - Associate degree

71. He taught math to fellow inmates

72. He taught social studies for 5 years#

73. He has not only taken culinary arts classes but continued by teaching the class.

74. He has explored his creative side by learning carpentry stalls, how to draw, play guitar, design/create leather belts. & Purses.

75. He even started to learn Spanish and Hebrew until "the system" put a stop t it.

76. Now, Christopher writes.

77. The Website PRISONWRITERS was founded by Loen Kelley, an ex tv producer, in 2015 it gives prisoners a place for their own life story and the stories that they have written.

78. Initially, Loen gave the money himself to the prisoners for their published works.  The writers get $10 ,which is big in prison.

Since starting the program, Loen has published over 450 stories.  

79. Definitely check the website out I'm sure going to be reading the work from them.

  These stories are person and uncensored.  They revolve around the prisoner’s life in and out of the jail system.  If you go to the site, there are many categories to choose from:  daily survival, fellow inmates, bizarre/funny, prison love & sex plus much more.

Christopher shares his own story of being a juvenile in the adult prison system.   He also wrote a story regarding Ethan Crumbly….if you do not know who Ethan Crumbly is…well, he’s Michigan’s last school shooter.   Oxford High School in Pontiac MI. where he killed 4 kids.   Not at all far from where Christopher grew up.

80. Christopher's earliest release date is April 24 2030, another his may release date being April 24, 2042!!

81. He hopes to become a writer when he is released.

82. I think in this case, it’s safe to say Christopher was sucked into some cult-like- -like-Church-propaganda back then. Literally no indication that he is still like that.

83. I think he was a confused teen and lost his shit.

84. My opinion) most likely young manipulated & confused. It's a sad, horribly sad story.

85  Christopher's dad has & does visit him in prison. He is hopeful & sure that his son's life has improved behind bars - or at least he didn't just turn to crime,
