We are commemorating and celebrating this month of Freedom by profiling and highlighting the work of those who are about The Business of making moves with the future of our communities in the long run and doing it how they feel called and led and I couldn’t think of a better woman who embodies these attributes and more.
Ingrid Best began her illustrious journey into the world of marketing as an intern for Sway Calloway - pounding the streets of the Bay Area as a music promoter. The Brooklyn born, San Francisco raised young mother of a then toddler followed her intuition by accepting an ambassadorship role that inadvertently landed her in the White Male dominated Spirits industry at a time when women were relegated to answering phones and filing documents.
Today we glean pearls of wisdom from the award-winning luxury marketing exec, champion of women and truth-telling change agent and celebrate her as she continues to walk in her call to emancipate Black and Brown women beyond the borders of the USA.
