Captain Sunderland is a 23 year Veteran of the Fire Service. He’s been employed by the City of Altoona Fire Department, in Altoona PA, since 2008, and is currently assigned to an Engine in the Downtown District. Captain Sunderland is also a PA State Suppression Instructor, an Adjunct Fire Instructor for Bucks County Community College (PA), an Adjunct Fire Instructor for Butler County Community College (PA), an Adjunct Fire Instructor for Harrisburg Area Community College (PA), and a Contract Instructor for the International Society of Fire Service Instructors (ISFSI).
