This is a relaxed conversation between two people who are passionate about plants and people.
Something they discovered through working with Plants after meeting at Clifton Nurseries in 2013  in  central London, Maida vale.

Lee has a background in floristry which began 30 odd years ago in Barnes,  London working for a florist called Hillier and Hilton, which sadly no longer exists, she went on to open her own flower shop in Australia in 1992 for a couple of years, but sadly after a car accident and doing damage to her right hand and neck she was not able to continue.
This gives some context on the plant connection, as therapy has been her main passion and calling.

Dario Spagnoli who works for the RHS currently in a role as Biosecurity Scientist, talks about a recent project he worked on, as the plant procurement.

This very exciting project, in Manchester, called The Great Northern Garden Build which has been featured on BBC 2 and is currently on iPlayer, you can see Dario doing what he does on the second episode! It is history in the making.

Darios Plant knowledge and friendship have been valuable to Lee and they have spent many hours walking and discussing plants and their effect on their own mental health but also the studies around nature and plants and the effects they have on us as humans, particularly those living in rural spaces.

Dario spoke of how the RHS has employed the first Horticultural Therapeutic Gardener, Ozichi Brewster and she provides rehabilitation, for people who may be referred by a doctor or mental health service, she also features on the second series.

They talk about office spaces and home spaces and how beneficial plants can be in supporting us and giving us something other than ourselves to focus on. Mindful practice of tending and caring for another thing.
