The broader context encompasses the cosmic struggle between God and the spiritual forces of wickedness, and will touch on some difficult and controversial passages in the Old Testament. In this episode we will be taking a look at our identity in Christ as children and sons of God, and how that relates to our status before God. Instead of living as homeless orphans devoid of love, Christians have been brought into the very family of God with all the accompanying rights and privileges. There is, however, spiritual warfare aimed at keeping believers living ineffective and defeated lives rather than living in the victory won at the cross.
