This episode's guest is Blake Rocha (aka MrFiveToEight). Blake started off riding the meme stock craze then cashed out and started investing in short-term rentals. He has a huge social media following and puts out a ton of content. His flashy style is hated on by some, but I found Blake to be a super knowledgeable guy and very generous sharing his insights in this episode.
This episode we discuss how Blake got started in real estate. We dive into how he finds his acquisitions and what markets he targets. Blake drops knowledge on how he underwrites his investments, what type of financing he has used and how he operates the portfolio. Lastly Blake goes into some crazy stories of things he's had to deal with as an STR investor.
