October designated Domestic Violence Awareness Month

GROVE HILL — The Clarke County Commission proclaimed October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month during its Tuesday meeting. “Once a secret kept in families, domestic violence is now recognized as a serious crime, one that has severe consequences for the survivors, their children, their employers and the community,” the proclamation read.
