Speaker 1:

Hi everyone, welcome back. My name is Carmen Ramos and you're listening to my chic intuition. See, last week's episode, we were talking about Venus retrograde and how it's affecting us. This energy that we're in right now is really intense and we haven't had Leo since 2013 2014 in Venus retrograde. So this energy is just bringing up past Relationships and when I tell you I didn't think this was real and my ex-husband Randomly calls me and is like hey, I like want to see you, I'm just like when did this come from?

Speaker 1:

And then I was like, oh yeah, that's right, we're in Venus retrograde. So, long story short, I don't want to really get in depth with it because that's for another episode, but we were together 10 years ago and the marriage lasted three years and I Simply was all in and he was not. He just really didn't have great intentions with me and you know I always try to make things work. He was like my first true love and I was really vulnerable with him and you know I trusted him and every time, like I would try to make the relationship work with, like you know, building together and just, you know, really seeing life with him, he was very Reluctant to it and was like I don't want this. So I'm like, why are we married? Why are we here? So I asked him for a divorce. I'm like you got me in this, you get me out. So now, fast forward. You know, throughout the years we like keep in touch here and there, but it wasn't like anything that I would consider like Real I guess. But then again I would have like a hope behind my head like, oh, like you know, I wish this actually worked out because, like I saw my life with him, you know, like he's the first person that I Like confided in in a relationship or like any type of financial stuff like we would talk about and things like that. Like there was no like filter, like I Haven't had a relationship where I sat down with someone and was like, hey, like these are finances, like what are we doing and getting everything together and making things happen. So, yeah, it was just, I guess, lost in transition and in timing that him and I didn't work out and, honestly, it's further better, because when we stopped, that's when I ended up leaving to LA and you know, finding myself and and what I mean by finding myself is like you know what, what I am as a human and who I am as a human, really like dove in deep and and Nurtured myself in a way like yeah, like it took me some time to heal and understand that Everybody's actions and the way that they perceive life and treat others is a reflection of themselves. So let's get into the story.

Speaker 1:

So he calls me and I'm looking at my phone and I'm like what? And then it like stopped ringing. So then I call him back and I'm like hey, um, did you call me? He's like yeah, he's like what are you up to? I'm like well, I'm actually getting ready. I'm gonna go with friends to Brooklyn and we're gonna, like you know, go out and Hang out. And he's like, oh, okay, I'm like is everything okay? Cuz usually when he calls me and like that's it's rare, like it's a rare occasion, like I never talked to him, he's like yeah, I'm just going through some things. Like I'm like, if you want, you can meet me in Brooklyn and we can, like you know, hang out, like have a drink and talk and whatever. And he's like okay. So I was like okay, I'll text you when I get there. So I text him when I'm like arriving and I'm like him, I'm actually like pulling up and he's like, okay, like I'm leaving my house, like soon. I'm like, okay, cool.

Speaker 1:

So he gets there and I'm like you know, I'm greeting him and whatever, and it's just like I see him and it's like I feel like it's so weird, like when you've been married to someone, like you feel like that person is like a part of you and like you don't feel like oh, like a shyness or like whatever. It's just like, hey, I'm here like hello, so I get there a little late with my girl and she's meeting up with our other friends because like they want to introduce her to you know a guy that they think it's like good for her, whatever. So I'm there with support and like I told them like you know, just meet me so I can have some quality time and I love her and everything. But it's funny because some people just don't know how to read the room, so like I didn't introduce them. So obviously, like that means like no.

Speaker 1:

So they're like introducing each other, like hey, I'm still in, so like it's like not the time, like I'm not being friendly with him right now, and like no, so I'm like looking at her, like okay, like you know, I'll talk to you later. So then she goes to like the table, whatever. And then she comes back to the bar and like me and him were having a conversation and she like we're talking about um, his best friend, and whatever, and like how they haven't seen each other, so she was Overhearing. And then she like butts in and she's like, oh, my god, like so-and-so, and I'm just like looking at her like bro, this is not the time, it's just like I'm having a deep conversation, like yeah, you don't know, but just don't do that. So it just threw me off a little bit, but anyways.

Speaker 1:

So like I'm there and I'm there talking to him and whatever, and he's like opening up a little bit more and more and more, and I'm like, okay, like it's getting deep. So he's like let's go sit down. I'll say, okay, cool. So we go sit down and like he's just like talking to me about his career and what direction it's going into, and like you know, like he's gonna be working for the government I can't say what, but it's really intense and whatever. And at the time when I was with him, he was in the military and he was in the Navy and that's why I couldn't really have a lot of time with him because he was out at sea. So now, fast forward, his career is evolving to Working with the government now and, like you know, things like that.

Speaker 1:

So it's scary for him and he's just like confiding in me and like talking to me about, you know, like how Life is just changing for him and everything, and then I guess I I'm triggering him. So maybe he's, like you know, thinking about like how I was there during the time when he was like away. So he like goes to me. He's like, you know, I still think about, you know, like, what our life could have been like. Maybe I wouldn't be in the military or maybe, like you would, it would be so different. He'd probably.

Speaker 1:

He's like we probably would have a whole bunch of kids by now and, like you know, had a house together in this and I was like, oh so you do think about those things. And he's like yeah, and he's like like joking around but not joking. He was like um, would you like want to remarry again? And I was like Absolutely not, so I could get left. Like no, like that's just like. I was like no, no, no, no.

Speaker 1:

And he was just like you know I like he was really depressed, but it's crazy because it came in full circle, how I had growth like throughout the time where I was left, and Now in hindsight, like you know, being as dreadful great is bringing me back this relationship and I don't want it anymore because I've dealt with like different type of men and I seen there's like quality men out there who Wouldn't do the things he's done to me as like the first person that I actually loved and I'm happy that I'm in a place where I can just say like I feel like it would have been the old me Like ten years ago I never used to say would bothered me, I used to let him do whatever he wanted, and Now I'm just like no, and then like he'll come to me for advice and stuff and like yeah, like I feel like now people like to cling on to people and their energy because they bring them relief or happiness or like comfort or whatever.

Speaker 1:

But Genuinely speaking, if you love yourself, you're not going to need any type of validation from anyone but yourself. Like you have to live in your own skin and and it took me a while to understand that and realize that you have the power in you to Create better for your life, be better, look better, feel better, and that all lies on you. And if you don't do that part in your life, then you have a lot to learn. So, with that being said, you know I'm closing this chapter of my life Completely with that relationship and I feel good about it and I feel like I'm moving in the right direction to meet my person. And you know, I just want to thank everybody for always tuning in, listening and giving me the best feedback and, yeah, I can't thank you guys enough. My name is Carmen Ramos and you're listening to my. She can tuition. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
