Bums of Manarchy
3 knuckleheads in Chicago, talking shit. For fun. The “Bums of Manarchy” is a Chicago-based podcast, hosted by 3 friends. Our weekly format is recorded in two parts. The first half content is all about sports, and the second half is for everything else (beer reviews, life hacks, complaints, knowledge drops, geo-political issues, streaming show reviews, etc.). Sports in the front, party in the back. Give us a listen! We take listener requests seriously!
Bums of Manarchy
B.O.M. - Episode 0045 - Bat Into Hell
The top of Episode 0045 begins with the Bums diving into the NFL Job Search Sweepstakes, as the McCaskey’s announce the first non-white executive to grace Halas Hall in Ryan Poles; head coaching options are bantered about, and NFL Playoff mania continues with what could be the greatest Divisional playoff weekend ever (yeah, we said it); the Bums conduct another beer review with another winner from Charlton, Massachusetts’ own TreeHouse Brewing with ‘Trail’, a super crisp and heady German pilsner (ABV 5.2%); as talk turns to the NBA edition of Scum-Bag-of-the-Week with bad intentions courtesy of Grayson Allen; a very unhappy NCAA homecoming for now redundant head coach Chris Mack, and MLB HOF voting nominees are covered Bums style.
The bottom half starts with a redacted ‘In Memoriam’ segment as the Bums bid farewell to Meat “I’d do anything for love, but I won’t get vaxxed” Loaf, comic Louie Anderson, as well as the voice of Charlie Brown, Peter Robbins; thoughts from Rocky on bluetooth enabled mood rings; Spotify’s cage match between Joe Rogan and Neil Young; Eddie completes the train wreck that is HBO’s ‘Succession’ franchise, as the Bums wrap it up with a review of ‘Bad Sports’, a new Netflix docu-series.
Recorded on January 26th, 2022 at B.O.M.’s global headquarters ‘East Bunker’ in Chicago, IL USA.
