All of that, all of your engagement helps to boost those things and helps me to rank a little higher in these various spaces and places. So I thank you so much for helping me out in those areas. All right guys, this week is all about you. Let me jump into the title.

Let me jump into the why and then let me just start to break it down. Let's break it down. This week it is called the title of the show, of the episode, of the experience. It is called What Changed My Life? What Changed My Life? Now, you could hear that as a question, what changed my life? Or you could hear it, and that's really what it is, you could hear it as a statement.

Treveal C.W. Lynch (02:27.914)
What the what what right? What changed my life today? I want to address those of you that may still be in that place in that space at that age and at that stage in your life where you're just not convinced that you matter. You're still not convinced that your life is valuable, precious, important.

that your life is needed in this world. You're still at that place where you're still trying to figure it out. You're still wondering, you're still questioning, what's my worth? Do I have value? Do I really matter to anyone? And do I really matter in this big thing called life? What's my place? What's my position? Do I have any power? Do I have any say?

You're who I'm speaking to today. I'm gonna share a few personal stories, and as always, I'm gonna give you some action steps. But this episode was inspired by a recent interview that I was just on this past Sunday. And we got to talking about my history, my past. And I hadn't been on an interview in quite some time. But as we started to talk about my past, and those stories started to come up. Started to come up.

I realized, you know, sometimes things grow old for you, like your own story. I remember the interviewer asking me, when I say, right, because she was reading my bio, when I say you came from this hard background, all of these challenges and hurdles and difficulties, and now today, you're this, this, and this. How does that make you feel?

And I don't know what she was expecting or if she was expecting anything at all. But in all honesty, I told her it didn't really do much at all to me or for me. I hear it. But because I am it and I'm living it, it doesn't really impress me. Now, it may impress her, it may impress other people. Wow, look at all of.

Treveal C.W. Lynch (04:54.89)
things that you've gone through, all the problems and the issues and the challenges that you've gone through. Look at what you've made it through. Look how far God's brought you. Look at what you've been able to achieve. All of those things are absolutely true. Yet. It doesn't always hit me like that. It doesn't mean that is not powerful, that is not impressive and that it doesn't inspire other people. It's. Sometimes it grow, it grows old for you.

And in that moment, I realized I haven't shared what the what is in a long time. I haven't shared with my audience, with those who are watching and listening on a regular basis. I haven't gotten into some of that, you know, what, what in quite some time. And so for those of you who have heard some of these stories before, it'd be a refresher course, right? There's always more to learn. And then for those of you who have never heard

some of my stories and the story behind the what what, then this would be new for you. Because I think it's necessary and that it's needed, right? For me to share these stories from time to time. Because again, I don't know who's never heard these stories and I don't know who this will continue to bless and to inspire. So the first thing that I wanted to share was the history around the what what.

Um, Mr. What What, you know, kind of my, my little persona came from a friend that was watching one of my Facebook lives. And, and this was a couple of years ago. And then he had me on his show and he just started calling me, you know, Mr. What What, like that's, that's what he called me because he was observing me doing my Facebook lives.

And he noticed that I would always talk about the what, the what you are, right? We have the who you are and the why you are, but my specialty is in the what you are. I had learned some things. I had read some things. I had been made aware of some things that made me extremely passionate about the what. And so I had been doing this, but not really picking up on it. But he named me Mr. What What in his intro.

Treveal C.W. Lynch (07:23.05)
to me being on this show and it stuck. People began to call me that and people began to see me as that and it just kind of became a thing, right? But the reason that I got on the topic of the what, because there's three elements to the human existence. What you are, why you are, and who you are. What you are, why you are, and who you are. Why you are is God's intention for you. Who you are.

is God's identity for you, but what you are is God's investment of you. Yeah. See, it's the investment, it's what you are. It's the investment that you represent that creates the value that you have in this world. And so I'm going to share with you three what's, okay? And I call them the what what because the way I look at this is,

If I was to ask most people, hey, what are you? Most people respond with their job title or their job position. I'm a carpenter. I'm a police officer. I'm a contractor. I'm a public speaker. That's very surface level. In most cases, it's very obvious. It's not very creative and it's not very inspiring.

It's the norm. It's status quo. But I love the imagination and I love living in the imaginary. And so God blessed me with this gift to be able to see not only into my own personal life, but to look into other people's lives and to see the what, what, that next layer of what you are. Because you are a mom, a dad, you are a carpenter, a police officer, a contractor, a...

public speaker, you are those things. I'm not denying that. I'm just saying that there's also so much more to be revealed that is currently concealed for a lack of imagination. So when you start to allow God to give you revelation, to inspire your imagination around you,

Treveal C.W. Lynch (09:48.65)
then you can begin to see yourself in ways that you never thought possible. And it's through that imagination, it's through that revelation that you are able to not only self -regulate, but you are able to self -inspire and to self -motivate because others will not always be around you to motivate you. You won't always be able to pick up a book and get motivated. You won't always be able to pray and be motivated.

But if you're able to have a certain view of you, then you're better equipped to, on a more consistent basis, not perfection, just consistent, to be self -motivated and to be self -inspired and be able to regulate emotionally and internally so that you can live a very high quality of life. There was a wise man that once said,

The attitude a man has towards the world is determined by the attitude that man has toward himself. The way we view ourselves determine the way we view others. The way we view ourselves determines the way we view life itself. And so that's why I specialize in helping people to craft and to innovate and to develop a very, very innovative, imaginary idea.

of themselves, a very vivid, colorful, powerful, moving idea and self -concept, right? Of self, right? A concept of self. And so let me share with you kind of the way it all came to me, all right? Let me break this down for you. Let me start off with this, well, you know what? No, let me hold my example.

until I get to point three. I think it'll flow better when I get to point three. So number one, one thing that I discovered, right, personal story, had a rough background, out in the streets doing my thing, right. I don't wanna take it all the way back to when I was seven, but you know, long story short, I grew up not having a lot of self -worth, self -value because of the things that were done to me, being bullied, being picked on, not having a father in my formative years.

Treveal C.W. Lynch (12:10.794)
though my father and I have a great relationship now. At that time, I didn't have that connection with my father. Not growing up with a mother, right? At that time, in those formative years, she was hooked on drugs and alcohol. She improved towards the end of her life. There was a lot of healing and reconciliation, so she got better, okay, before she passed away. But in those formative years, when I was being influenced the most,

Right? My mom, my dad, they just weren't there. They just didn't have the capacity. I don't hold anything against them, but they just, they just weren't there for me in that way emotionally. And I was bullied. I was picked on. I was overweight. I stuttered all of these different complications. Right? And so it built in me this idea that I didn't have any value. I didn't have any worth. And so I, you know, as I got older, I started really getting into crime, selling drugs, breaking into things. I was.

just a street vandal, right? Just always into something, doing something. And so I found myself right at the crossroad before I got saved. I was in jail for grand theft, grand theft. And so I was gonna go see the judge on Monday, but we had a church service in jail on Sunday. This was before I went to the judge to see what we was gonna do, okay? And so I'm in jail over the weekend.

Sunday morning comes and there's going to be a Sunday morning service. So I was invited to this service and this, this is where my first what was established. I went into this service, not knowing anything about Jesus, not being a Christian, having no faith, anything like that. But they told me a story about Jesus and I knew my back was against the wall and I knew I was at a crossroad in my life and.

As I listened to that story, it resonated. It touched me. Jesus loves me. Jesus accepts me as I am. At that time, I didn't even accept myself as I was. But they told me about a man named Jesus that had his arms wide open. Figuratively and literally.

Treveal C.W. Lynch (14:37.322)
as he hung on the cross, right? That's a picture of Jesus's arms being wide open saying, I love you this much. I accept you this much. All of you, I accept all of you. Where you are, how you are, I welcome you. And so the first what, what is I am loved. What I am is loved. I am loved. What I am is someone who is loved.

by my creator, by my creator. The culture may not love you, but your creator does. I'll say that one more time. The culture, our culture may not love you, but our creator does. And so for me, that was the first revelation. I am loved by my creator. And so just as a side note, some of us have to make that decision. Am I going to?

Am I going to continue to subscribe to the culture or am I going to subscribe to my creator? My creator knows me. My creator created me, wants the best for me. The culture? That's questionable. I don't know if they got good intentions for me. I don't know if they want the best for me. I don't know if they want me to elevate and do well. But my creator does. Why? Why do I know that? Not only because the Bible tells me.

but it's also just common sense. If you create something, you want what you created to succeed. If you create something, your deepest desire is for what you created to be successful. You ever watch the show Shark Tank? These inventors that come up with their little baby, they created it and now they're gonna showcase it before the sharks to try to get a deal. And I don't know how many times I've seen,

inventors, creators, upstarts, or startup companies, I should say, defend themselves to the death in front of these millionaires and billionaires. Why? Because they created it. The product, the service, they created it. It was birthed in them first. It came from them. And they don't want anything more than what they created.

Treveal C.W. Lynch (17:04.49)
succeed. The same is true of God. He wants us to succeed. So my first what what was I am I'm loved. All right. Number two. I've told you guys a story about when we relocated here to Southern California and I had an opportunity to share a 15 minute 15 minute message on the life of Jesus and how Pastor Eric Brown who's gone on and be with the Lord.

He came up to me after I shared and he said to me, Treville, you are a teacher. The five words that changed my life. Treville, you are a teacher. After he told me that, because it resonated, it hit home. It bypassed all logic, just like when I was in jail and he told me about the story of Jesus, it went beyond logic. It just hit me home right in here.

When when when Eric said that to me and it hit home The first thing I did and that's really going to be the CTA today The first thing I did was take an assessment. It was called a spiritual gifts assessment And what I learned was and this is my second what what? what I am is Gifted the Bible talks about God has given shared sprinkled thrown out scattered gifts abroad

Every man woman and child if you are breathing

You got a pulse, then you are gifted. You got a gift. You might not know what that gift is, and I can help you out with that, and I'm gonna help you out with that, but you got a gift. You got a gift. Let me give you a quick little tip bit. What's that thing that you do or would do if no one paid you? No one has to pay you. No one has to pay you. You just do it anyway. That's one.

Treveal C.W. Lynch (19:04.426)
That's one clue, that's one breadcrumb. That's one breadcrumb to what you were purposed to do, to what you were created to do, to the gifting that you have. Your gift is wrapped up in that thing somehow, someway. It just takes a little discovery, a little time, a little observation, and you can discover it. Okay, I'm just gonna drop that one on you for free, okay? But I discovered that I was gifted and that my specific gifting,

is exhortation and teaching. Exhortation, the ability to encourage kind of with a little bit of just a tad bit of aggression. I can get fired up and I can help motivate and inspire. But it's to encourage you toward motion, toward mobilization, right? I exhort you to do X, Y, and Z. And then teaching. I have the gift of communicating information from myself to another in a way that others can understand it.

Okay, that's my gifting. And so I am what I am is gifted and what I am gifted specifically as is an exhort her and a teacher. And so that's next level. What right there, man? You, you, once you learn what you're gifted in, then you can say, I am what I am is gifted by God. And more specifically, I am what I am is blank, blank, blank, blank.

Right? That makes sense? See, these are the what's that the world can't take away. The culture can't take away. Situations can't take away. Right? Society can't take it away. Problems can't take it away. Discouragement can't take it away. Despair can't take it away. Depression can't take it away. It's just innate. It's just embedded in your DNA. You can't get away from it. Doesn't matter what you go through.

I know you've seen that example where someone took like a dollar, they crumbled it all up, they spit on it, urinated on it, did some gross stuff to it, and then they washed it off and then they held it back up and it's like, yep, it's still a dollar. It still holds its value. Yep, and we're no different. The trials and tribulations that we go through in life, it doesn't make a difference. We're still what we are. We're still the what what, baby, right? And so you can have that revelation for yourself. And then lastly, I got more, but...

Treveal C.W. Lynch (21:27.466)
I want to keep these episodes right around that 30 minute mark or less, right? So today I'm going to share my third one and it's called an idea. And this is, this comes from revelation. This just comes from time spent with God, time and prayer, meditation. God drops it on you, shows you what it is, how it works. And then you're like, yup, I receive it. So the third what is I am an idea. I am an idea.

I began in the mind of my creator and so did you. We're all God's idea. We were all created in the imagination of God. That's our origin story. No, man, I'm from Chicago like me, right? I'm from the shy. I'm from LA. I'm from yada, yada, yada. No, where you from from, where you from from, right? We got the what, what, where you from from is God's imagination. Where you from from.

is the mind and the heart of God. That's where you really from. Then you were born into an earthly city or state. True, absolutely. Not trying to act spooky and weird. Of course, yes, yeah. But again, we're going to the next level of the what. And the next level of the what says, where did I truly begin? So we are all an idea. And here's what's dope about being God's idea. Any idea that a person has represents one of two things. A solution to a problem.

an answer to a question. That's where ideas come from. Ideas are birthed as answers to questions and solutions to problems. That's what ideas are. So you can say of you, I am an idea that began in the mind of my creator. Therefore, I am a solution to a problem and answer to a question. This is what I am. That is.

That is importance. That is necessary. Because when you have an idea and you bring that idea forth, when you create it from the mind to the material, what you're saying is this thing is needed. It is necessary for this thing to exist. So you are necessary in this world. This is the evidence. I'm giving you the evidence.

Treveal C.W. Lynch (23:55.274)
I'm laying it right out for you, right? All you gotta do is receive this thing, right? So those are the three what's. Now let me give you this example. We live in a culture where people love to compare and you can get down on yourself so bad when you start comparing. Oh, I don't look like this person. Oh, I ain't got what that person got, yada, yada, yada. We always comparing ourselves. Well, let me help you with that comparison. I got some tools over here. I got some instruments. Look at this. I got this knife.

Not the cleanest knife, man, got water stains all on it. My goodness, I could have got a cleaner knife. My goodness, forgive it, brother. Forgive me, forgive me. But you still got the idea, got the knife. Yeah, I really could have brought a much cleaner knife. That's ridiculous. Forgive me, forgive me. Those of you who are watching on the tube, got a fork. Now that's a lot cleaner, right? Okay, right. We got the dishwasher, man. Sometimes you grab them out the dishwasher. They ain't really as clean as you would like them to be. So side note, forgive me.

All right, so we got the little dirty knife. We got the fork, right? And we got the spoon. All right, spoons clean too. Okay, so we got these three utensils, okay? Now, in our society, we tend to compare ourselves and get down on ourselves, right? We say, oh, I'm this knife. I don't have what the spoon has. Oh, I wish I was a spoon. Oh, the spoon gets the...

be used to eat cereal and to eat ice cream. All, you know, I wish I was a spoon. I wish I was a spoon. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay, well, see, the thing is, the thing is, you, Mr. Knife, you are like really needed. Because when Thanksgiving come around,

and somebody got that turkey, that ham. I know I might be making some of y 'all hungry right now, right? Okay, don't pull over. Don't go to McDonald's. Don't do it. Don't do it. Resist, resist. All right, but no, just mess with you. But no, it's right, right? So we comparing ourselves. Oh, I wish I was this so I could do this, right? Things that this one does. Well, you know, on Thanksgiving, just as an example.

Treveal C.W. Lynch (26:15.338)
We need you, Mr. Knife. We need you because you're going to cut. You're going to cut through that ham. You're going to cut through that turkey. Mr. Spoon can't do that. Mr. Spoon can't cut through the turkey. Mr. Spoon can't cut through the ham. Mr. Spoon can't do that. And Mr. Spoon better not get, you know, get all bent out of shape and be looking at the fork sideways, right?

Because the spoon wants to look at the fork and compare. Oh, I wish I was a fork. I wish I was a fork. Every time you eat spaghetti, every time you eat noodles, oh, when you eat broccoli, you just, you know, oh, I wish I could do that. No, but don't worry about that. Why? Because yeah, the fork will show up when it's time to eat spaghetti and pasta and things such as that. But you know what, Mr. Spoon? When it's time to have a nice bowl of ice cream, when it's time to have a nice bowl of Captain Crunch.

Crunch Berry, that's my favorite, right? Crunch Berry, right, right? We gonna need you because you are shaped in such a way that we need you. We need you. Because what you do, Mr. Spoon, in your ability to scoop because of the way that you're shaped, the fork can't come to the rescue when I'm eating ice cream and I'm eating cereal. Mr. Knife?

We need you because Mr. Fork can't come to the rescue when it's time to cut through something, right? Mr. Fork, we need you because the spoon can't come to the rescue when it's time to eat some spaghetti or some pasta, you know what I'm saying? Some fettuccine, right? With the chicken, right? I hope you guys are getting my point. We have been so conditioned to compare.

ourselves with other people because they're shaped a certain way and because we've never learned and discovered our shape and the value that our shape has in society then we're stuck comparing ourselves to those in the culture and never finding a place of contentment within ourselves because we don't know what we are able to do. Remember the what what.

Treveal C.W. Lynch (28:41.546)
is your contribution. The what what is God's investment of you into the world to provide the world society with an ability to do something. As a teacher, God's using me, my ability in the world to communicate life changing information. It's not about me communicating.

It's about the information that's being communicated through me, but it's being communicated through me because of how God shaped me. And the same is true for you. You just got to learn your shape. You just got to know what you're working with, right? Show me what you're working with. You got to show me what you're working with. Right? You got to show me what I'm just playing. I'm just playing, right? I ain't going to go there. I ain't going to go there, right? I don't even know who's saying that song.

I don't know who did that one, right? But it just came to mind. Show me what you're working with. You gotta show me what you're working with. You gotta show yourself, right? You gotta show yourself what you're working with. You gotta discover what you're working with. Because the world ain't gonna tell you. The world ain't gonna tell you what you're working with. The world's gonna tell you, oh, if you don't look like this person, if you don't sound like that person, if you don't do what that person does, huh, we'll push you to the back.

Well, it's time for you to stop playing the background. It's time for you to come to the forefront. All right. So let me give you guys this CTA. I'm at my 30 minute mark. So give me two more minutes. All right. Here we go. CTA. I'm going to put some links in these show notes. If you are on the tube, then they'll be in the description. If you are listening on a podcast platform, then they will be in the show notes. If you're getting this through an email.

then they will be in the body of the email. However, I can get these things to you. I will get them to you. You are always free to reach out to me at Iamthepossible .com. These are things that I coach. I am a certified coach and I'm here to serve you. So if you're someone that needs a personal development coach, personal growth coach, right? Get your mind right coach. Then I'm your boy. Reach out. Let's get on a call. See how I can help you out.

Treveal C.W. Lynch (31:07.722)
But these assessments can be taken without any assistance. Okay? But if you want that assistance, then I'm here to help you out with that. All right? I can help walk you through it, help you take them, and then help you to craft that idea that I was talking about earlier, and then how to play that out in your personal and professional lives so that you can continue to do just like this. Elevate. All right? So click these links.

to these assessments, take them. Most of them are free. There's a few that I think may cost a little bit of money, but nothing crazy, nothing that's gonna break the bank. But they are so worth taking and discovering more about you. Remember, the way you see the world is determined by the way you see yourself. Okay, so if you improve the idea that you have of you, then you will improve the idea that you have of the world. And when you improve the idea that you have of the world,

then the possibilities, they become limitless. They become limitless because you need other people and you need other things that you may not be exposed to or be aware of or be engaged with because you have such a small idea of yourself. All right? Hope and pray that that makes sense. That is it, guys. That's it. I hope and pray that you guys have received some value, some information, some motivation, some insight.

Just something good, man, that you can use as a seed, sow it in your heart. Grow a big old tree of righteousness, that big old tree of motivation and inspiration to catapult you into the life, man, that you envision, the life that God's created you to experience, right? The emotional regulation, just the space and place that God would have you to be in.

internally and even externally in your life. That's it, guys. That's it. Love you guys. Praying for you guys. Believing in you guys. This has been another episode, another experience, another bonus track of the I Am The Possible podcast experience. I am your boy, Trevail C. W. Lynch. Mr. What? What? Founder of I Am The Possible. And I am here to help you.

Treveal C.W. Lynch (33:32.618)
To do what? Here we go. You ready? Let's do it. This is what I'm here to help you to do. Let's regulate right here. Let's innovate right here. Let's elevate right here. And let's continue to be encouraged. And yes, as always, continue to be your possible. God bless.
