Welcome back to In The Loop! On this month's episode, we’ll be talking all about power outages and how our system operators work behind the scenes to keep the lights on and answer our member’s calls 24/7.
We’ll be joined by Coweta-Fayette EMC’s Supervisor of System Control Dawn Hunter to answer some frequently asked questions about power outages, including typical causes, different ways to report an outage and what a member might expect during an outage, and she’s going to explain how system operators are trained to serve our members while simultaneously keeping our employees safe on the job.
