We talk about red flags a lot but you never truly see a red flag until after you decide to get to know someone. My girls Maine and Dej stopped by the studio to discuss their dating non-negotiables. Now you're probably asking "Wtf is that Jam?" We are talking about the personality traits, physical attributes and trains of thought that people display that will make you run upon meeting. You not even allowing them time and energy to spot a red flag.
Happy Hour with Bae is BYKE! After a long and unexpected hiatus, I'm back in the studio just in time for Spooky Szn. In honor of Halloween, I brought in my girl Taylor to talk about some of our more horrifying dating experiences!
I told ya'll this season was based off Jazmine Sullivan's Heaux Tales right?
In this episode, we dive into Heauxz versus the Good Girls! Ya'll know that song at the end of the album "Girl Like Me." Well, we discuss the dichotomy of purity and freedom. Why is it that it takes a heartbreak to unleash the inner hoe? Do you have to put the hoe away after marriage? We get into allat with guests Treasure, Bri from the D, and Desi!
Plain and simple...this episode is about the cewchie!
People (sometimes especially the non-coochie havers) have a lot to say about the vagina; how it looks, how it should smell, how to maintain it. I had to bring in a punani expert to get the gworls together because if we gon hoe, we will do it safely!
Vanessa McKenzie is the lead expert of Your Lady Biz. She is also a midwife so if your hoe phase ends with a pregnancy, give my girl a call.
Welcome back to Happy Hour with Bae! It's Season 2 ya'll! (Insert Jamaican air horns)
This season we switched it up a bit. I was inspired by Jazmine Sullivan's Heaux Tales EP because it's time to talk about womxnhood and all it encompasses. Throughout this season, my guests and I will explore what femininity and being a woman means for us! We are defining our own hoeness at whatever level feels comfortable for us.
Kicking it off is my girl, singer/songwriter Charity. In this episode we talk about the maintenance to be an IG baddie, our hypocrisy as feminists and this imaginative "playbook" we're given that's supposed to lead us to our partners.
Get into it!
Had to get real sexy on ya'll for ValenTIMES day!
Ya'll know attractive men make me nervous but I was able to make it through this episode with Actor, Director and Writer Don Snipes. Of course we talk about his career, love languages and touch a lil bit on fatherhood! It definitely gets there on this episode. #DemonTime
