Welcome to the Today is the Day Changemakers Podcast! The launch is finally here!
Hi, I am Jodi Grinwald and I am looking so forward to sharing conversations that I will be having with changemakers and those who are crushing through the status quo. You will hear real stories from people that are making a real difference in their corner of the world! No scripting!
In this short episode you will learn more about my background, why I launched this podcast now, and how important realizing Today is the Day truly is!
Five years ago all I could think about was how much I really wanted to start a podcast and share important and valuable information with a listening audience. The only thing holding me back was limiting beliefs that there were too many podcasts, that no one would listen, and would anyone actually relate to my content? I allowed fear to hold me back. Now, I think about who doesn't need inspiration with all that is going on, how many people could benefit from listening to how changemakers are staying inspired to continue to do the good work they do, and what if I can help give information that motivates someone to do something they have been putting on the shelf for a long time. We all have so many gifts to give and we sometimes allow fear to hold us back. So, today is the day to change that!
In my professional life, I have worked in the not-for-profit sector for over 16 years. I consult with organizations to help them innovate, thrive, and grow. I am the CEO & Co-founder of the Zzak G. Applaud Our Kids Foundation, a not-for-profit organization that provides 100% funding for children living with financial barriers to take ongoing lessons in the performing arts. I worked for national non-profits for over 10 years and led development teams over multiple states as a VP of Development for the American Lung Association and Executive Director at the American Heart Association. Not-for-profits are so vital in our communities and more people need to know about their missions and the populations that they serve.
In my personal life I have two beautiful daughters who mean the world to me and two four legged babies who provide me with unconditional love.
I consider myself a master connector. I truly believe that it is important to learn how to level-up your connections and communicate your story effectively. It is important to me to interact with my listeners, so please reach out.
