A conversation about the perimenopause with Jenn Salib Huber
I must admit I did not know much about perimenopause before I started experiencing symptoms myself. I remember seeing a GP who I did not feel was very sympathetic and basically told me, women, my age should just accept this is what happens! I bristled at his attitude and decided to find someone else who could help me understand what was going on. The lady I worked with was wonderful and provided much needed support.
Women should not have to feel unheard especially around a period of their life they might find confusing. I am happy to say there are people like Jenn whose focus is helping help explain and demystifies the subject.
