So I actually think this is going to be a short video, but then again, I say this all the time, I just wanna say one, let me talk about Eman Ajo for a second. I don't know what it is, but he is so annoying. like he just comes off as the biggest Sambo. I don't know, I just feel like maybe he's gonna start slapping his knee handball, handball. Have you heard like I know Sambo and doing the hand on things is different, but I just, I don't like listening to him talk.
I feel like he goes to the extreme, especially when like I think you know what it is at this point, he's so irritating. Anything he says I think I'm just ready to tune him out. But you know, like with the Jamal Murray thing, I just kind of feel like everybody's getting so hyped up over Jamal Murray and he threw a towel or whatever on the court and all this punishment and I don't know, I just, I don't know. The whole situation is like he didn't kill anybody. I don't know if he should be suspended, so I don't even know why that's a question.
He didn't, you know, give him a fine, I don't care. but I just kind of feel like if people aren't typically doing these crazy things, I'm like, so why do we go for the jugular? I don't even know if, if man was actually rooting for him to get suspended or not. but I, I just don't even like listen to him talk. He's so annoying. Anyway, we're just gonna move on to the WNBA. So last night I did not get a chance to watch the live streaming of Angel Reese play against the New York Liberty.
I guess they were like the runner ups who won it last year, the the Liberty. But so Angel Reese and Camille Cardell still played for the Chicago Heck, they call it Chicago something or other. And I'm trying to make sure I start supporting the WNBA. And of course I couldn't even watch livestream last night because I was out at my kids' while with my daughter's practice. Ironically it was basketball, it wasn't lacrosse and I could not get good signal.
I didn't see it. I didn't get good signal, I couldn't stream it. I didn't get home until after nine o'clock last night. And so that sucks because I wanted to be able to support the live stream. I wanted to be able to support the games, that type of thing. I just hope that the WNBA will continue to market the game. you know, I just felt like what they were doing, they were going about it like business as usual and I was just kind of like whoever's their marketing team needs to do more.
You cannot continue to do the same thing. If you wanna grow the game, you gotta get creative. So nevertheless, I'm disappointed that I was unable to support the WNBA last night. I could not catch this dream. I just didn't have a good enough signal last night. I could barely even text where I was. But with the WNBA, I feel like kind of warm. Sorry to put the AC on for a second. I just feel like they are, they originally weren't gonna even stream that game until everybody started bombing 'em out.
And I feel like with the WNBA, like they need to take their board members or something and just get rid of them. They should be totally capitalizing right now. Like I wanna go get an Angel Reese jersey to Capital, like to help, you know, I wanna get something to support her. you know, I feel like right now this is the time when you capitalize off all this fire. You got Angel Lease out here being a black larva. You got Cameron Brink with them long legs out there.
And I just kind of feel like, how do you not capitalize on these young women setting the the the WNBA on fire? I know that my understanding is there are talks about there being some future expansion teams out there, but I feel like with the ones you've got right now, they should be like, we should be getting bodied up with these girls or these young ladies on tv. I've seen a commercial with Flaw J, which was kind of cool experience, but I don't see anything with Angel Reese or Cameron Brink.
Like they're in the WNBA. I've seen more of Angel knows how to promote herself. I'll give her that of her Met Gala, birthday pictures, stuff like that. I actually followed her on TikTok, not because I care about all of her whereabouts. I just wanted to actually to support the young lady. you know when, when you think about the WNBA going about things, business as usual, they should be getting some of this airtime. They should just actually invest in some of the commercials. I hope I don't go through a bad signal area.
I think I'm gonna be going through a bad signal area shortly. But like they should be getting some of this airtime right now. They should be advertising. They should have like all the promotion. you know like when you see the NBA And, they see the guys come up and have their pictures or like in the NFL and you see like that the profiles right now is the time to do that. Even in the preseason. I wanna see what these young ladies look like. I wanna see these teams. I wanna see some of these other girls who are amazing. We should be seeing the sponsorships.
We wanna see our young starlets who just left college, see what they look like with some of the veterans and going up against each other in a much more, what I would call advanced NCAA tournament, right? Like now you got like the real deal because when you're in college is a, this such a wide range of talent. But now everybody's a professional. Everybody's got it going on. We wanna see it I know I do.
So these marketing people suck. They are terrible. We should be seeing jerseys out there like cute jerseys. Like they, we should be seeing things like their regular team jersey then a special one that's got like, like that cute, like they may not want to see it, but the fact of the matter is women still wanna be cute, right? Some of us anyway. So I'm like, they should like have like a two pack or something. I don't know like, like you get the jerseys, you get the so and so.
'cause at the end of the day you get little girls out there wearing their cute little shirt or jersey or whatever. Are you kidding me? Or they should have a kit like a, like an Angel V Kit, a Cameron Brink kit, a Caitlyn Park kit. And then it's like you get them walking around that that is your promotion that that is your promotion. They're so stupid. I'm like, they didn't even wanna like televise anything.
They didn't wanna stream anything. I'm like, you guys have some of the dumbest people. How do you have all this fire right now and you don't capitalize on it. This is the reason why the WNBA continues to fail. You have to grow the game. You gotta, you gotta show all the markets at this point and you gotta invest in it. I don't care where you get the money, you're thinking people are just gonna go buy tickets when they don't even know that their game's on. You think people are just gonna go buy a ticket to a game.
You need to put it in their face over and over and over again. You gotta promote it. These athletes have to be out there on TV talking stuff. Okay, well when I see you, you can get it. I don't know, whatever it is that you guys typically have them doing. The merch needs to be out there. There needs to, they need to be so visible to the public right now. They need to be accessible. You don't even have them on tv. You don't have them streaming anywhere. You don't do, they're so stupid. They're stupid as marketing people. I said what I said and wanted to actually start playing last year when Angel Reese set it on fire and that's what helped put Kaitlyn Clark on the back.
I didn't, nobody cared about Kaitlyn Clark until Angel Reese got up on her face and was like, you know, you could take this ring because they all were doing, you know, doing great. But if that rivalry had not been ignited with Anice knowing how to market herself, she really know. I feel like Caitlyn Clark owes dangerous some of that Nike money. But the WNBA, I just feel like they're so dumb. The, the people who are marketing the WNBA need to be fired.
They need to be fired. And when you're marketing the WNBA, you need to, you wanna, you, let me tell you something. Women spend money market to the women. I mean they say I, think the number one supporter of the WNBA is the NBA or the NBA players. The men, you got a whole demographic out there that you could get, but the WNBA has stupid people on their marketing staff. They should be putting out social media clips all the time.
They're doing some of it now, but they should be like, they should be everywhere. We should be seeing all kinds of highlights from everybody all the time, all the time. So stupid. Anyway, I was just irritated because I definitely wanted to see the game. I couldn't because where I was, where I was, I wasn't really getting good signals, so I couldn't watch the stream on the WNBA app. So I'm kind of irritated about that But. anyway, that's what I wanted to say.
WNBA needs to do better. Do better. all right, I, think that's pretty much it. I thought I had something else to say, but I don't really have anything else to say. So go ahead and just go watch all my videos and later.
