About Karl Mecklenburg
In 1983, Karl “The Snow Goose” Macklenburg turned the field into his stage when he was the 12th round draft, 310th pick choice for the Denver Broncos. As the NFL’s Most Versatile Player, Mecklenburg played all seven defensive front positions which occurred multiple times in a single game throughout the season. After playing in the superbowl three times, Karl decided to change his focus to public speaking. Karl Mecklenburg, CSP, earned the Certified Speaking Professional designation from the National Speakers Association.
While he has been off the field for 27 years, Karl Mecklenburg has created an inspirational platform as a keynote speaker for his Mecklenburg Motivation organization. The NFL star is also the author of Heart of a Student Athlete which won the 2010 winner of the Mensa Sharp Writ Book Award for young adults.
