Ever found yourself in the whirlwind of an airport mob, just to catch a glimpse of your favorite stars? Well, you're not alone, but safety first, folks! Our latest episode takes a hard look at the pandemonium at airports caused by eager fans, and why it's vital to prioritize personal space—for the wellbeing of everyone, including the stars we adore. In a heartfelt twist, we also extend our apologies to Number_i and their loyal followers, and clear up any mispronunciations of the group's name—with special insights straight from Mr. Kishi and the band members themselves.
Strap in for a Coachella pre-chat that's as colorful as the festival itself. Then, we dissect the thematic layers of the "Blow Your Cover" music video, revealing how its narrative reshapes our connection to the song. Plus, we spill the beans on Arashi's groundbreaking announcement of their new company, stirring up the fanbase and reshaping the artist-fan relationship.
Lastly, we turn our attention to the personal journeys that intertwine with our love for music. We discuss the perfectionist streak in artists like Matsumoto Jun, the authenticity of STARTO's new social media presence, and Nino's photo book that's rewriting the rules of celebrity culture. But it's not all serious business—we laugh over the culture shock of open marijuana use at Coachella and the international fan experience. The conversation wraps up with a raw reflection on the emotional bonds we forge with our favorite artists, their career shifts, and the dreams they ignite within us. Join us for an episode that's a tribute to the highs and lows of true fandom life.

OK ASIA
Hello everybody, welcome to another episode of Music Elixir, with me, sarah and Dun dun dun dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, did you panic. You said that so quietly.
Speaker 2Because I'm going to get punchy because it's a rise and rambling. This is when we really get punchy, because we read news and see things and we're just like oh my god just like our last ransom rambling when we were talking about new jeans going the airport situation and then the company had to put out a statement like please don't do this, like seriously don't harass our artists, yeah exactly you know I mean, besides harassing the artists, you're also harassing people who are at the airport.
Speaker 1Well, yeah, you're being a public nuisance, exactly. You're in the way, you know.
Speaker 2I mean there's enough tension. Already going to the airport, at least going in the us, because you have to go through the tsa, then you have, uh, people just having anxiety because they have to be in an airplane. Then you have, you know, family with. You know how many kids they're gonna bring with, or babies.
Speaker 1Well, and just like going to get your boarding pass and standing in line and being like oh my God, exactly.
Speaker 2You know, in some airlines you have to make sure that your luggage doesn't pass whatever weight.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2You know, and then you have to repack things because it's overweight, you know, and so having this more of a stress of a stampede of people going after you know their fave because they're at the airport, you know, it's for everybody's safety. But you know what I'm going to make it more about the artist. It's for the artist's safety.
Speaker 2There was this psychologist putting signs through the pandemic. They wanted to make signs so people can start following rules. So what they were doing is that they were changing the wordage, because what they have found down that if they put posters, that they were simple and they were more towards yourself, people tend to actually follow that. If you make it more in general, okay, like, wear a mask to protect everybody people were not wearing masks but then, if you like, where am I? This is just examples that, uh, that I kind of remember from that, wear a mask to protect yourself, you know, and wash your hands to protect yourself, and it's like, huh, it's true, we are kind of selfish. So if, if we make statements to make it to protect ourselves, we tend to follow more, just people will follow more to it.
Speaker 1Yeah, if it's more about you, exactly, as opposed to others, exactly. Well I'm, I don't have to worry about others, but I do have to worry about me. Oh, you know exactly. So, yeah, so that makes sense.
Speaker 2That worked a lot. And uh, when they saw that and they're like yeah, we need to make these posters, these notices, to get you know to the person like we're talking to the person, you know like you're, you're important here.
Speaker 1So on this right here even though they're making it.
Speaker 2You know, like police fans, you know whatever you know. Protect yourself, because when this stampede of situation happened, security are not going to care about you Well, and they won't be able to, you know, protect you.
Speaker 1There's 10 security for every hundred people. Are you the one?
Speaker 2Exactly, you know, and I will try to visualize yourself if you, if it's not your fave, and you're going to an airport and you see the stampede of fans and they push you or they, you know, block your way and you don't how do you get where you're going? Exactly how will you feel when this happened, when the stampede of people you know are blocking you to do you what you need to do at the airport?
Speaker 1yeah, because, like you said, you're already stressed about am I going to be on time? I have to get through this, this, this and this, and then suddenly you see a wall of people not getting out of the way or blocking your path.
Speaker 2You're just like, oh yeah, extra stress for nothing. Yeah, exactly, you know if you're going to like a vacation that you have been waiting for for months or years and then this situation happens. Like what the hell yeah. My trip of a lifetime and I'm not going to get there Exactly I lost, you know, my boarding, boarding time because of you, you know, blocking my way because security had to do something, because somebody went haywire, oh my god. So with that, being said I don't know.
Speaker 2Yeah, I'm gonna start talking about this now. Okay, so we would like to apologize to.
Speaker 1We don't even know if there is a fandom name, but we have been saying number one for number I yeah, I was gonna say we want to apologize not only to the fans but the artists for right mispronouncing but we actually did some research because this was brought up to our attention.
Speaker 2We would like to say to the person who brought us to do our attention thank you very much for bringing us to our attention yeah. Okay, now when the previously, mr Kishi, because this is now I'm going to be calling him, Mr Kishi made the announcement of the group. There were several meanings for the name, so we were like okay, is it number I? Is it number one? Is it only?
Speaker 1one. Yeah, is it?
Speaker 2So there were like three meanings. So I'm like Sarah, you know, can you look at this video? So then we're looking at the video with, kind of, with a little bit of, you know, japanese understanding that we have. We're like so what is it is?
Speaker 1it right. There were sort of several factors. When they were talking, I had to re-watch something and I did hear him say number I and I was like, oh, but then jinguji was saying number one and when they posted their logo, I. I guess the initial one. It was, you know, n-o, which is the abbreviation for number, and an I, which is the Roman numeral one.
Speaker 1So I thought there was sort of like this double meaning, Right, and as you were saying, you know he was like only love, the only one, number one. So we had a lot of sort of confusion and questions and we should have the.
Speaker 2The number one was thrown a lot right, you know. So we're like so it's gotta be number one.
Speaker 1We grabbed it and ran with it and we are very, very sorry. Yeah, but even in one of their little ads they were like number e. Yeah, we were like which is I? In japanese it's pronounced e. So, yeah, we were like well, there you go. No wonder we're confused, we can't figure it out. No, it's like oh geez we were just yeah, we were all over the place with it, and then I was happy hello, what up?
Speaker 2okay, yes, and also when you are singing about goat, which is the greatest of all time hello well, and saying number one.
Speaker 1So we were yeah all right, we'll go with number one, and so we are very sorry. We assumed wrong and you know what they say about assuming makes an ass of you and me. There you go, so yeah, so we are very sorry, and of course now I'm gonna have to like train myself to say number I, number I? That's not my eye, it's kind of like I'm like I so you know like we're here, like I, I, I, I all right so again we are very sorry again to fans and artists.
Speaker 1Yeah tacky why you gotta make it difficult I know being all clever and tricky with your names and, yeah, messing us up probably tacky, was like you know what?
Speaker 2That's not all me, that was them.
Speaker 1Yeah, that's, wasn't it Mr Kishi's idea?
Speaker 2Yeah, mr Kishi, but anyway Mr.
Speaker 1Kishi, and so, as we're recording this, they are in the process of being at Coachella. Exactly so, coachella will be done in the process of being at Coachella, exactly so. Coachella will be done by the time we release this Right. But yes. Those who know. Hopefully you're going to be watching.
Speaker 2Oh yeah, I should be able to, so it's 5 pm Pacific time on the 14th. It's on the 14th, we are three hours ahead, so that means you said 8 o'clock right. I should be home.
Speaker 1Yes, yes, I should be home. You have work? Oh no, no work. Do you have work Monday? No, oh yeah.
Speaker 2Me either. I'll be watching Coachella, which I started watching on Friday. I did, too. I got to see Yaosobi. I was like, yay, I could not see ATs because I wasn't doing my show, but family was and hell broke loose in there. But anyways, let's keep chatting about number I. Yes, because now they are here in California. They're here. Remember when I was talking about the airport thing? So I was seeing on twitter people posting videos of them arriving into the airport and give them gifts and whatever. I was like yo, that's crazy. I mean, I'm happy that there are people there waiting for them. Show was so happy he was signing here and there he's, like they were all wearing masks, but I can tell from his face, from his eyes like he was so happy to see people at the airport with his eyes.
Speaker 2So, oh my goodness he was just like oh my god, look at all these people here. He's so happy to be there. I couldn't see james or or kishi's face, you know I couldn't tell very well, but the one that I saw with like so much enthusiasm to see his fans it to see the defense, you know yeah I said not here, I know defense defense and he was yeah, yeah, he was very happy.
Speaker 2But I only saw like two people kind of managing them at the airport. I saw one guy kind of whole, you know, trying to hold on this crowd of people, and there's three of them. Um, then I saw another lady, I think, uh, that I was like whoa, she's gonna try and manhandle all these people. Like I'm like, wow, so she had like a luggage cart and she's trying to like get people away from them too.
Speaker 1Oh, whoa, she's using weaponry.
Speaker 2Yeah, because there was like a lot of people. I mean they were not expecting that. I mean, the lady's face just was just like well, she was ready to fight. There was a little japanese lady who were trying to fight and then this tall guy who was trying to do this one. I'm like they need more people.
Speaker 1They should listen to us more, because we have said if you bring these artists here, there will be fans for them. There will be exactly a crowd, an audience for this. We've warned them, we've said a you gotta let them come over exactly, and then b be prepared because there are fans here, exactly, good grief. I've told you my rsu horror stories. Yeah, like seriously, you don't realize the power these artists have. Even though you don't think they're being listened to outside of japan, they are, they are.
Coachella Experience and Music Video Analysis
Speaker 2And and we can be rabid here in the us yeah, when people are fans, they're like fans, you can tell on the show's face like oh my god, there's people here, you know, like, oh no, I didn't, like they don't, don't expect this. But he was just so happy, like really, you're waiting for me, really, you know. And in all the yeah, no, but then yeah, but it was. It looked dangerous, especially for the, for the chaperones that are there with them, they were like, oh my god, you know, they're the ones that are scared. They're shitting bricks excuse my expression because they need to protect them. You know, they're putting themselves on the line for them and these fans are not caring because they want to be with them, you know. So if I was that lady, you know, kudos to her, I'm, I'm very happy. Who you know? You gotta get tacky. You better pay them well, because they were really holding the fort. You know this earning their keep.
Speaker 2Yeah, yeah, there was this tall, skinny guy who was just like trying to like get them out. But this lady, this older lady, and she was older, you know, and she was, like I want to say, in her 50s and she's championing these kids. Oh, wow. So I was thinking, is this one of their moms, you know? She was.
Speaker 1That explains the like. I'm gonna ram you with my card if you go, if she was one of the moms I'd be like, yeah, get them, do it get away from my get your umbrella, get your purse.
Speaker 2And she was holding a big old purse too. Get away, get away. You know that snl skit, the lady with the purse. I will be like that's whack, oh my god. Yeah, I'm telling you back off. Exactly. So kudos to the lady, and Taki paid them. Well, because just that's stressful. I was stressed but obviously show wasn't, show wasn't, show was loving it. I think if he would have said carry me, everybody would have been carrying him. I swear, I swear If he would have been like him. I swear, I swear if he would be like, carry me. Yeah, jen and kishi were just like trying to avoid everybody.
Speaker 1I'm seeing this from all they were probably like we're tired, we want to get to the hotel and rest.
Speaker 2Shows like energy vampire feed me, I know king, you know, prince or king of prince, whatever he is the king of prince, he's like carry me, I'm here, I'm your god, oh my goodness. So yeah, that that was, oh my goodness, but um, let's talk about that. Uh, blow your cover video now that we got video drop. They did it's a whole is a total different meaning that when we were listening to it and then the bad translation which we're like, what happened here?
Speaker 1yeah, when we were reading the translation. We're like what?
Speaker 1yeah but see, prior to that we hadn't looked up the lyrics. We were just listening to this song, sort of trying to get a feel for what it was, and so my theory had sort of been like this is a mutual secret affair of some sort, and like, like, don't blow your cover, don't let people know. After watching the video, I was like no, this is like he wants to blow your cover because he has no idea who you are. You are like his ideal dream. I want you, I can't seem to function without you. And I was like, wow, so yeah, the video gave me a whole different. I was like, oh, this is actually kind of a stressful not depressing, but sad song. Yeah, I'm lost without you. And I, how do I blow your cover and find out who you are, your mystery woman? I was like oh, and like, yeah, the intensity of it was so different for me. Yeah, that whole the darkness.
Speaker 2I had that. It was dark. I mean the the mood was just dark. Yes, you have jim sitting on this bed and I'm like, well, he's sitting on the bed but he doesn't look that happy. No, and then all of a sudden you hear just rustling and whatever. And I'm like, oh, there is somebody in that room. And then just this black figure just goes by like this shadow, you know, and then just looking, and then he just starts looking down like oh my god, you know, like she's gone or this person?
Speaker 1yeah, it doesn't, the door clicks. Yeah, he looks up for a second and then and it's like, yeah, like depressed.
Speaker 2So I'm like whoa, what happened exactly? But it looks like a lot happened in that bedroom but then it's just like that's it and then you have show in the tub. I know clovid also look dejected and sad and just sinking slowly, yeah, under, like not changing facial expression.
Speaker 1You know, usually when you go underwater you sort of cinch up your face a little. Yeah, nope, he just drifted right down into that water like nothing mattered anymore. It was like oh my god, yeah, I was just yeah, that was.
Speaker 2I was shocked. Yeah, I was like, wow, it was like he's wearing clothes and he's just just like in that tub, like I'm sinking, done, I'm done, like I'm done. It's like what? Yeah, and then breaks to kishi. It's a foggily cry like tears coming down. I'm like, oh, no, what? No, you can't put a scene of somebody crying, because I'm gonna start crying and I'm crying. I'm like, oh, why, you gotta be ky. No, I'm over here like hmm, and again he's in a dark room, like looking out the window, like hmm, yeah, like what?
Speaker 1All the rejection and dejection and like just this is no good, sad, horrible, depressing. I know, I mean it's an amazing video. Oh, yeah, I love it. It's. The dancer is beautiful. Yeah, the cinematography, the way they filmed it was beautiful. But, like I said, it completely changed how I saw the song in my head now I'm like oh so this isn't like a mutual.
Speaker 1Let's keep it on the down low this is a like I'm like kleenex you used me and threw me and threw me away. Yeah, I was like wow, wow, yeah, and the the vulnerability of all of them. You know being like just showing the. I'm so lost right now and so I don't even know what to do with myself yeah, it's really good yeah, surprising, not what I expected. So it was like whoa.
Speaker 2You know, when we seen the, you know previews of like, oh, they'll blow your cover, we're gonna do this and that. And I'm gonna say the video's gonna come out and I'm like, oh, I can't wait for the video. And it's like, no, it's not, you't wait for the video. It's going to be like saucy. And it's like no, it's not. You're going to come out there crying and depressed, yep, yep, this is not spicy and, like you know, tintillating Nope.
Speaker 1This is like straight up sad.
Speaker 2I know I was like oh, I'm like Sarah, have you seen it? You're like no, and I'm like, oh, I'm like go watch it. And then she goes oh my gosh, I'm like I know right, with a totally different meaning. Totally different meaning. Yes, night and day. I prefer the one in my delulu head I know right, yes the one I made up when I was listening to the song. Me too.
Speaker 1This video is just completely like yeah I'm like we like the positive outcome of our delulu. It's just like, like the week.
Speaker 2It totally right, oh my god, yeah. No, oh my goodness. So anyways, yes. So if you are at Coachella, wait, take care of yourself, have fun, and what not? If you're not at Coachella, like we are, enjoy it in your home. Get your put up your smart TV and put it wide. Get that. You know that's. If you have good stereo, go put it on the stereo. It's gonna be so much fun. That's probably the best, best way to what I've been loving streaming as much as I like to go to concerts.
Speaker 2Streamings especially like those kind of festivals.
Speaker 1I will definitely will love streaming well, what I liked about this was that they've got the different channels for each stage so that you can pick and choose, and so that's cool.
Speaker 2Also YouTube. They put a blur. There's somewhere in each channel that if you want to see more than one artist, you can, through their app app, download something into the smart tv and then you can have all different channels.
Speaker 1Yeah, I'm like, oh my god, it's so cool so hopefully it's going to be archived because, like we said, it's happening now. So by the time this comes out, it'll yeah, it'll be done, but I'm sure they'll. They'll archive it if they're streaming it live.
Speaker 2I think so. If I remember from past Coachella's they will have some, you know, save like oh, you can watch blah blah blah performance again, you know and I'm wondering if, well, I mean, there's always celebrities at Coachella.
Speaker 1But I just remember reading something at Coachella. But I just remember reading something one of the people that we we like to follow and interact with, sometimes had a translation where Aiba had talked about he was at Coachella. I don't know if it was last year, but he'd been to a Coachella. Oh really, yeah, aiba walking around Coachella enjoying music.
Arashi's Company Announcement at Coachella
Speaker 1Oh my, my goodness, If I ever see Iba just on the streets, I'll be like oh yeah, and JK from BTS was definitely there last year, but we're used to seeing celebrities like Paris Hilton was at Coachella, but seeing artists from Asia that we love and know about and didn't expect would be here have been here, so I'm sure there's gonna be. I wonder if tacky came.
Speaker 2He's probably there. But of course he's like I'm not gonna be in that mess, I'm gonna be somewhere else I'll sit in the green room for yourself, boys I'll be there, oh my goodness there.
Speaker 1So I had to interject that because I was like wouldn't it be crazy walking around coachella and be like is that iba?
Speaker 2right, or or you'd be like man. That guy looks so much like iba and then when he starts, if if I hear him laugh, I'll be like it is I know right, because his laugh is so unique, I'd be low-key, stalking him everywhere he went.
Speaker 1I'd go just to watch his reaction to what was going on. I would never be like, run up to him, be like, but I'd be like who's he gonna go see? Oh, oh, does he like this one? Even though Ono Satoshi is my main squeeze?
Speaker 2Yeah, but also you have said whoever's in front of you, you all about them.
Speaker 1I'm fickle. Well it is, though. It's like, you know, everybody has that moment where you're like oh, I like you.
Speaker 2It's like oh, hello, you're from, you're so-and-so, hi. Don't, don't let my favorite see you, see me, seeing you. Because, hello, you know, because that's how you get like no, I was not watching him, it's only you. I like you oh man. So what else? What else is going on because of coachella and number one? Let's see number one. Look at me, number I, I, number I.
Speaker 1See, like I said, it's going to be a hard habit to break.
Speaker 2Yeah, because I got to see them again. Roman numeral one, but you know, okay, number one. These fans have been wanting them to be number one. I know it's ballsy, and what is the word that I want to use, calling yourself number one. You said number yeah, number I, okay, number I. Because you know you don't want to get people like, oh, look at these, you know, right, right, they're being pompous by calling themselves number one, you know, so I get that. But hey, there's a Roman numeral that's a one to me, but number I, you know.
Speaker 1Okay, I Well, because it's also for us. It's sort of counterintuitive, because number wouldn't be.
Speaker 2I no, it'll be one, and in the English, in the Anglo-Saxon style, that will be, one.
Speaker 1Okay, plus we want them to be number one, of course, you know.
Speaker 2Which you know, I think, with us saying that, so much it may happen.
Speaker 1So Hopefully number I takes Coachella by storm.
Speaker 2Mm-hmm. I I, I. There is a song about I I I. What else is going on? So yeah, no, they are trending right now on x twitter, not just only from their blow your cover, but also because they're right here at coachella. When that came out, that announcement, I'm like what I know we were texting. Oh my, god, did you see? Yes, that's why that is we were so excited.
Speaker 1We were like wow, I was in shock actually. Yeah, whoa make it happen? Boys make it happen, yeah tacky made some phone calls.
Speaker 2Tacky, there's something happened there. Something happened there. So we had the announcement of course of uh, they're, they're coming up being here at coachella.
Speaker 1And then another announcement happened is it the one I think you're thinking? Yes, our five boys, yes.
Speaker 2Our five men.
Speaker 1Five men. Yeah, really, they're 40 now they're all over 40. Yeah, finally, yes, we're talking about Arashi. Arashi, yes, and their new company. When that came over the line I was like what?
Speaker 2I don't have fan club.
Speaker 1Do you still have the fan club? Are you still in fan club? Um not their fan club? I'm in, I was in the generic company one and now, with everything changing over and switching, it's all complicated and but I can still access stuff.
Speaker 2So so I'm, I'm. All this happened, of course, at midnight. Yes, I'm sleeping, I'm up in the you know get up in the morning.
Speaker 1Well, actually they announced it at 5.05.
Speaker 2In their fan club, though. Right, right, okay, yeah, yeah. But I didn't see anything going on until, like, I wake up the next day and it's like I'm like what's going on with Arashi, you know, because I'm seeing all these arshin people and our asians are going cray cray and I'm like what's going on? And I'm like, are they coming back? What's going on? And it's like no company and I'm like, oh yay, but we kind of had a feeling that they were working on something like that.
Speaker 1Yeah, because they were.
Speaker 1They were getting together a lot, according to nino, because nino just talks about everything nino will tell no secrets, no, no so nino's like oh yeah, we've been in talks and we we thought it was originally only because he was going to separate himself from the company, right, and you know, represent himself, but still be withashi, and now it's all. Of them are sort of making that step, but there is some connection still. Yes, you know, I don't pretend to understand all the legal jargon and ramifications of what's going on, but but they, they put out a statement that we five have decided to start our own company and that's just awesome. They, they all signed the little notification. Yep, and nino even somewhere said yes, ona, satoshi is still alive.
Speaker 2Yeah, yeah he's, he's still around, don't worry, he's still here. He's still here, but also mr show has his own website I know I'm like wow, yeah, so you know, um also, and during that announcement start to said that also, june's gonna be part of the.
Speaker 2We start to yes, he's one of the directors, one of them, because there's another. Um, oh my god, who's the other one? Who's also gonna be in there? Which we everybody was saying is june gonna be part, he's gonna be there. Everybody wanted june to do this, but I think june was like listen, I've been busy, yeah, with my own thing, I'll help, but I got my own stuff. Exactly, I was in a in a period drama then I was trying to round up all the rest of the people so we can do this company. I bet that was. Then I have have my, you know, my, my expo, my expo. You know, the man is always doing something, always doing something.
Speaker 1So he, but it's. It's awesome, though, that he did work on it, because anyone who's seen an RRSH concert you can see they have a couple of freebies up on YouTube. You know, if you've ordered DVDs, if you got to see them live, you know those shows are incredible and he's been behind a lot of that for years, he's like, so he knows what he's doing so I'm sure they were like please, if you have seen voyage, you've him how much work he did.
Speaker 2He is there till like the wee morning hours, like he's there from whatever till the next day, because people are like you know, dude we're like need to sleep.
Speaker 1Yeah, they're like it's five in the morning and we're going to be starting again at seven. Yeah, let's go home.
Speaker 2So it's even well.
Speaker 1I mean, he came up with a lot of the innovations of how our she stages worked to best give the entire audience Right A good view. Because you know you buy nosebleed seats or you a lot of times it's the lottery and you end up way in the back and you don't get to see as much. He was like that's, that's not right. We want all our fans to see us. So he came up with a bunch of things to make this happen.
Speaker 2You know the popcorn concert oh yeah, with the, the balloons yes, was that his idea too probably because I saw a blur out there that they needed to actually get helium from other countries to cover so people from the nosebleeds can see them right there up high and I'm like, wow, was that a June idea? Because that's cray cray. You know my poor show. He's like man. You know, I'm afraid of heights.
Speaker 1Oh, I know he hates you got me doing these stunts. Well, that that one outdoor concert, one of the the rfs, they were in this little like crown thing just strapped to a center pole and there was a bar like at waist level to keep, but it was all open and like I was leaning out over the thing and you could show like gray, he was like oh my God, stop doing that. He's like holding up his shirt and he's up against it Like oh my God, no, stop.
Speaker 1I've seen that one Cause I was like yeah, yeah, it's just like dude, seen that one because I was like yeah, yeah, and she was like dude, please, please, dude, no, stop, stop that, please, I'm already here, you could? You could see all the tense. He was just like he's, like I'm, I'm with him, though oh yeah, me too in those things where they suspend and fly. I'd be like holding the thing behind exactly. I'm holding on to this cable because I don't trust the harness.
Speaker 1No exactly, exactly ono's another one who's just like king. I'm here, I'm here. It's like the flight of the valkyries, oh my god.
Speaker 2And of course, no june loves it because he's just like doing all these aerial stunts. He's like yeah and like look at me.
Speaker 1His solo stuff always has him flying around or hanging upside down.
Speaker 2Yeah, you know and I'm sure he'll be like I don't like this, do this way. How come do I have to know this way? I don't know who knows. Well, you know, like he always said that a concert will happen and then he will be like I need to go back. Much improvement needs to be done much improvement, or what? Improve. What june? What do you need to?
Speaker 1improve a mind-blowing spectacular and you think you could do better. Okay, he like he. Yeah, he's never, no, never satisfied. That's a virgo there could always be more. There could always be more. I'm like I can't even speak after watching this. It was so good and I don't know what else you could do.
Speaker 2He's such a virgo, yeah perfectionist and I think he's, he has triple virgo, you know there's, there's your sunrise and your moon sign. That's all him. Virgo, virgo, virgo, because the man is just non-stop. It has to be perfection I wonder how so focused I wonder how he felt when okada was off script, because you know he's doing a perfection and okada had to do something.
Speaker 1I seen those clips and then people were saying he's not supposed to do that, but he did and june had to do something.
Speaker 2I've seen those clips and then people were saying he's not supposed to do that, but he did and Jun had to. Like it's my senpai, I can't do anything, but just follow him, just get a roll with it.
Speaker 1He must be hating that yeah, because he's not a just roll with it person.
Speaker 2It's like in his head senpai. That's not on the script, but what are? You doing to me you know, I was like I'm playing with you. I love that man. Oh my god but too funny but yes, so yay, and of course, sarto has definitely made a new twitter x twitter. Yes, they have, so you know yeah no, no more hello world well, new name coming soon. Yeah, oh my goodness so now we have starto and um.
Speaker 2They have to put a statement out there that there were fakes out there saying start to entertainment or whatever, to to be aware of that, oh my god. But they're keeping the hello world because they have other clips and whatever some are to archive. Yeah, the past, you know, um tweets that they had a post that they had awesome yes, so much going on oh my goodness yeah yeah, I don't know I'm looking for.
Speaker 1nino said he's sorting through pictures for his photo book, so we'll see what happens.
Speaker 2Well, he posted that one of him smoking.
Speaker 1Yes, your fave, smokes your fave smokes.
Speaker 2Now that he's you know he's like I'm going to show up here's my cigarette. People are going to be like Right in front of his face Are they going to be like oh my God, he's been smoking for how long.
Speaker 1Forever Well maybe not forever that was apparently one of the whole issues with the previous company. Thing is that when they went in as juniors they were encouraged to drink and smoke. He could have started very young.
Speaker 2He's 40 and married and who knows?
Speaker 1maybe it was just for the shock value in a photo book, who knows? But I think pretty sure he really has been smoking for for a long time he looked very comfortable with that cigarette. But that was the very first thing I thought of when that picture popped up on Twitter, I mean on X. Sorry, I was like your fave smokes. Exactly, we've said it before.
Speaker 2We have. I mean, you don't see it on photos or whatever you know yeah yeah, promotional pictures are not and you're not gonna have them with a cigarette, but yeah, they do smoke, they smoke and they drink. Speaking of drinking, coachella ats, they all had a shot on stage, really, yeah, oh, I was like huh, hello ats are just sweet.
Speaker 2I'm like, wow, they all drink too. They are all of age. Yes, well, in the states you have to be 21, and I think everybody's already over 21 I think, because we, I mean we saw them five, five years ago yeah, five years ago.
Speaker 1It's been a while so, so I think that they probably yeah, they'll probably after that shot they they'll be like I need a cigarette.
Speaker 2You know who knows? And speaking of Coachella, so I also saw trending. Oh my God, people are doing drugs at Coachella. I smell marijuana, chela, I smell marijuana, just to let everybody know, california marijuana is legal, so, yes, you can smoke it publicly like if it was a cigarette, right. But people who come from korea, japan and other countries, that is completely illegal, that you will go to jail for like years yes when they go to the state, they go to the concert.
Speaker 2They're like smelling it all over the place. They're like, oh my god, people are doing drugs. It's in their heads. It's a bad thing. It's a bad thing. You go to jail, it's you know.
Speaker 1They're very surprised in the you know I thought you meant just people in general, but yes, specific audience members. This would be shocking. Yes, but even when it wasn't legal here, you couldn't go to a concert and not smell marijuana. Oh yeah, because it's legal in massachusetts now too it is legal in massachusetts.
Speaker 2You cannot smoke it indoors, though, now, because this is an outdoor event. Maybe, but I'm thinking maybe there's designated areas, yes, you know. So, of course, if there's designated areas are outside and people are out there smoking away, this smell is going to carry away. Come on, it's, it's, it's pretty pungent weed it's weed, marijuana, cannabis.
Speaker 2It's strong, exactly. So a lot of these people who you know, don't know about the law, they're all surprised like oh my god, there's, like you know, drug addicts. They're like, yeah, they're like in shock, they're having a culture shock.
Speaker 1Well, we've warned everybody before.
Speaker 2We've been like hey, remember, g-track, come here, it's legal, it's legal I always say to these artists you know, there's there's plenty of people that you can marry over here and there's some laws that you cannot do in korea, you can do here, you know. So I'm not encouraging anybody to smoke pot, no, no I'm just saying that it's that is normal in the state of california and in our state of massachusetts. There are other states of as well, which I don't um denver, colorado. Of course there's another one.
Speaker 1Uh, oh, there's a lot of vermont, uh actually is new york, I think you smell it a lot down in new York, but I'm not sure if it's actually legal.
Speaker 2It was medicinal, but I think just recently, maybe last year, it just became now legal. Okay, so now we have New York, we have I don't know if Connecticut is still medical or is now also recreational as well, but I want to say maybe the area of New england everybody is legal yes, we're pretty open up, yeah whatever canada, the whole country, the whole country is legal, but that doesn't mean that if you bought something in vermont, you can take it over the border.
Speaker 2Oh yeah, no, no, no, no, no. The same thing. If you bought something in canada, you cannot take it over the border. Oh yeah, no, no, no, no, no. The same thing. If you bought something in canada, you cannot bring it over to the border.
Speaker 1Well, I think you can't even transport technically between states here, you know, yeah, legally so, unless you do something silly to get pulled over and caught doing it.
Speaker 2But the same thing with alcohol. You know, if you want to buy out, you have to buy it in canada and then cross over. You know the whole duty-free thing. Yeah, yeah, but in the duty-free they don't sell marijuana, so they'll probably start because, yeah, well, as soon as they take the federal, because it's still a federal. I don't know why, yeah, federally marijuana still like illegal, but if it's legal, I don't know why, yeah, federally marijuana still like illegal, but if it's legal.
Speaker 1I don't know stupid laws, of course but anyways, you know there's states rights versus federal law. So yeah, that's a whole slew of politics that we don't want to talk about, but anyways you know people who are going over to coachella and they smell weed.
Speaker 2Yeah, that's normal.
Speaker 1Yeah, okay, although I'm sure actually it's probably way more overwhelming than in the old days when it wasn't legal and there was always, you know, a few people sneak it in, smoke it during the show, so you would smell it. But because it's legal and people can openly be doing it, I'm sure it's incredibly overpowering.
Speaker 2You feel afraid that you will get high from the smell. Wear a mask, you know. Wear a mask, even though you know so you don't have to smell it or feel like you're gonna have. Oh my god, am I gonna be like, come out positive because I smell it, because that's another misconception about this.
Speaker 1Yeah, the contact high idea.
Speaker 2I mean it will.
Speaker 1Unfortunately it will, depending on who you it'll cling to your clothing and your hair.
Speaker 2If you're next to a person who's constantly smoking. Yeah, it will be. Yeah, you will smell it. It will be on your clothes, on your hair, it will be gross. But I mean, if you're just passing by, you're good, you're fine, you know. Yep, if you find yourself uncomfortable when there's somebody there and they're not moving, you'll have to move. You know, giving dirty looks to somebody is not going to change anything. In fact, they're going to encourage them to smoke more towards your way because you're giving them dirty looks Exactly, unfortunately, exactly.
Speaker 2Don't be telling me what I can do again. We're going back from that first rule when I was talking about you know people to take care of themselves. For you know, for covid, they're like I'm gonna do whatever I want because this is me and I'm a priority, not you. So take care of yourself and just move away from those people. But yeah, I'll be seeing some posts. They're like oh my God, there's drugs in here.
Speaker 1Well, that makes sense. For eons. You've always been able to smell it.
Speaker 2I want to say maybe you have smelled it, but when it was not legal, of course people will hide it to go to. So you really don't, but if you do, you know where to avoid. Yeah, but now, since out in the open, people are just out there, probably walking around with big old.
Speaker 1Oh yeah, you know, yeah, the big cone like snoop dogg style.
Speaker 2You know, walking around there, you know, so it's different, so it's everywhere so that's why it's like, oh my god, there's drugs here.
Speaker 1And, yeah, culture shock, because family wasn't one that showed me that well, what they should be worried about is the drugs they can't see yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2So if you, oh yeah everybody, if you're having a drink, cover your drink yes cover your drink. Do not let your drink out of sight. Yeah, that's a dangerous one. The marijuana one is not that dangerous. It's the one that you cannot see exactly somebody slipping something on your drink. I don't want, I just just be cautious. You know, stay with your group, stay together, find yourself. If I think there's actual apps, if you know there's so many stages and not everybody will go to see the same person, so, but at least go with somebody you go with.
Speaker 2Have some apps over there. You're like, oh yeah, so-and-so's on here or so-and-so's over there.
Speaker 1You know like yeah, well, your friends are together.
Speaker 2You share your location with your friends, things, and exactly stuff like that keep an eye out on yourself, yeah, and your friends take care of each other but you know, yeah, now concerts are coming your friends can't cover your drink for you, so make sure you do that festivals are out there, and now we're not just only talking about coachella, but all festivals, everything, yes yes all right, anything else? No, I think we touched on the all right I mean stuff we wanted to talk, okay, cool which it was number I, and of course coachella and arashi yay, see the Ono Satoshi. I'm telling you she worked our woo, woo and people are like oh my god, they're so crazy and I'm like our chant of Ono Satoshi.
Speaker 2you know that when you like deeply say Ono, like really bring it, it goes right into his head and he'll be like, oh my god. It's them again. Stop it, stop the noise. Stop the noise and look at what happened. We have a new company.
Fangirling Over Favorite Artists
Speaker 1Yay that they were sure to state he is included in. He was part of the decision.
Speaker 2Yes, my boy is still out there, exactly my, your boy he's a man you're on your own with that no, he was, he was definitely.
Speaker 1He was my first love in RRG and still is yes.
Speaker 2He's still your first love.
Speaker 1Not the only. No, because there's moments for everybody, but he's my main man.
Speaker 2Yes, that if you feel, if somebody else comes up and he shows up, you're like oh, I feel guilty now.
Speaker 1I swear there's no one else.
Speaker 2I have a wall of Uchiwas of you. I'm sure you're not the only one with that.
Speaker 1I'm pretty sure I'm not.
Speaker 2All right, oh my God. You know, I always said, if I win the lotto, I need a very, very, very large house, because one room will be dedicated to hello kitty and then another room will be dedicated to just like groups, all your bands fandom, exactly paraphernalia this I was gonna start one um buck tick, but it's gonna be now difficult to get anything now. Yeah, we're not going to let go of that just because of what happened to our sushi.
Speaker 1No.
Speaker 2My love. Yes, I'm still mourning him. I'm a widowed in my delulu head. I'm one of the many widows that he has around the world. God did I love my man? I still love him, but anyways, yeah. And we around the world? God did I love my man? I still love him, but anyways, uh, yeah, and we're gonna be seeing sugar again. Yes, we are. We saw him wednesday. Yes, that was amazing.
Speaker 1so now saturday, you'll see him again yes, the movie everybody where, yes, we don't get to go see him personally. No, we wish. But well, we did get to see him a year ago yeah but we're, we're going to check out the movie.
Speaker 1We said we did already see it. This second viewing now maybe we'll sort of take in a little bit more, because that the initial one. You were just like in shock, like, oh my god, all the stuff we didn't, yes, see or notice when we saw him live. You know that whole like blackout thing that happens.
Speaker 2Hopefully I will not cry again when I saw Namjoon. I cannot guarantee that he's been in my mind and heart for since he went to the military, because it's just for some reason his whole attitude that he's the one that has no poker face oh yeah, no. Just for some reason, his whole attitude that he's one that has no poker face oh yeah, no. But um, so when I see him and think about him, you know it's just like my boo. When I saw him saying, I'm like, oh my god, I'm like sarah's. Like, are you crying?
Speaker 1I'm like yeah, and I'm using my hands but I'm the one who had the kleenex I I know.
Speaker 2I brought. Kleenex to be prepared. You have to. I'm like no, she's passing tissues to me and I'm like what, judy, I'm still crying? No, I probably cry, so I got to bring my tissues. I love that boy. Yeah, he's my boy, my baby Opa. You're like your baby Opa.
Speaker 1And I'm boy, my baby opa. You're like your baby, opa, and I'm like people at front, but be like.
Speaker 2Who the hell she calling baby opa? How many people are gonna be in there?
Speaker 1well, we can talk about that yeah, I don't know, I didn't look, but okay cool anyways.
Speaker 2Huh, this was a fun one yes let's see what happens after, after this episode drops, because our woo-woo yeah, we say things. I think it's manifested Like really, for real, like I mean I don't want to sound like oh yeah, I do sound like a crazy person.
Speaker 1I do sound like Lulu.
Speaker 2I do sound like Lulu, but there's too many coincidences. There's too many you. You know things aligned in the universe. Yes, that's things that have coming into fruition for this. I know I'm ending always things like this, like that, but it's just true I know, I know I've been here, I've been experiencing it you know we're recording on april 13th. This is usually comes out a little bit more into the future. So I mean, are we predicting the future? Maybe Are this just not predicting the future, but maybe people listening and making it happen?
Speaker 1Yes, that's true.
Speaker 2Hey either way.
Speaker 1it's a manifestation, it is.
Speaker 2You're putting it out there and I am very happy, especially for for nama. I very happy for kishi, very happy for jen and show, for you know they've been waiting for this for so long in the other company with the other members. They have been waiting and they were working for this many years. Yeah, we've talked about that before, you know, and now they just make sense. Why these three? They're like we're leaving because it's not happening.
Speaker 1We don't see it in our future actually, as soon as they needed to manifest it for themselves. That's what they did. This move was all about attaining the goals that they were going after, so same thing with tacking.
Speaker 2When we were surprised that tack is like um, at the end of oh my god which month he's that it just made an announcement that he was leaving.
Speaker 1He was retiring in september yeah, yeah, retiring, yeah that's true. Three months later, I'm starting my own company, or or came up on twitter.
Speaker 2Hi, I'm on twitter and everybody's like what. And then their company happened. They're like what happened to retirement yeah, I don't call that retiring, but okay, I will just say that he retired from the old company, but not actually from what he really wanted to do. Right, you know again. Another one is like you know what you're putting too many stops on what's going on I have a vision, I have a future I cannot be gatekeeping anymore.
Speaker 2I gotta do this. Oh my goodness, yay tacky now, wow. Anyways, thank you everybody for listening to this ransom rambling please rate, review and share share share. Give us five stars Because we love consolations, the woo-woo yay.
