EP37 Trusting Into Ourselves, Reparenting for Deeper Connection & Setting Boundaries from the Heart with Tia Fagan
Sep 22, 2021 Episode 37
Christa Bevan

Today I'm chatting with Tia Fagan, a Certified Conscious Parenting & Authenticity Coach and mom to twin daughters in their 20s.  Tia’s mission is to help people reclaim their truth and inner knowing, empowering them to create more peace, joy, deeper relationships, and authenticity in their family and life.

In this episode we discuss:

  • How Tia stopped chasing solutions to problems and started showing up with more presence in motherhood and the relationship dynamics that changed for her as a mother.
  • How are children often have better answers to problems than we do, and when we trust that wisdom and remove our layers of conditioning from the equation we can let them shine.
  • How the traditional parenting model relies on a power differential in the parent/child relationship instead of a relationship built on mutual trust and respect
  • Why the work of reparenting ourselves is so important so that we don’t bypass true connection with our children’s feelings.
  • The difference between fixing and space holding for yourself and your kids.
  • Why we need to give ourselves more grace as mothers because inevitably our kids will have wounding no matter how “clean” our parenting approach is.
  • The difference between boundaries we set with our ego and boundaries we set from our heart.

A radical mother is a woman poised in her power ready to disrupt cycles of generational trauma running through her family like wildfire. She's working to improve her life, the lives of her children, and shape the landscape of her community. If that's you - you're in the right place.

This podcast is designed to connect you with resources, inspiration, and the reminder that you are not alone as you embark on your journey of radical mothering.

I’m your host Christa Bevan and I’m a certified TRE provider (which stands for tension & trauma releasing exercises), trauma-informed yoga instructor, and also a dynamic self-care coach for moms. And of course, a fellow radical mother. My approach to this work blends neuroscience-backed tools and heart-centered intuition.
