In this interview with United Airlines First Officer, dog mom, and animal rescue volunteer, Erin Mariah Murphy, she shares her aviation journey from teenager scrimping and saving her babysitting money for flight lessons all the way to international adventures as an airline pilot. She also talks about how volunteering at a local animal shelter led to adopting her quirky and lovable dog, Zeke, and ultimately inspired her to write HALFWAY HOME, a picture book intended to educate readers of all ages about the world of aviation animal rescue. HALFWAY HOME launches on Tuesday June 14th, 2022. You can order now at her website www.erinmurphybooks.com and a portion of the proceeds will go to support animal rescue organizations.

Happy book launch, Erin, and thanks for sharing your story!
