Irene Ais and Ziggy Razuki Season 1 Episode 4

Many of us live in big cities surrounded by millions of people and with communication at our fingertips due to technology and yet we feel more disconnected from one another than ever before.

This experience has been amplified by the the global Covid pandemic for those living with strict social distancing.

In this very topical episode, we interview psychologist Dr Esme Dark about the effects of isolation, what she has experienced in her professional environment and the ways in which we can look after our mental health, wellbeing and realign ourselves with our innate hard wiring for connection.

Dr Esme Dark is a Clinical Psychologist with more than 12 years of experience supporting adults, children and families with their mental health and wellbeing. She has a private psychology practice based in Melbourne which focuses on the use of holistic psychological approaches. She has worked at the Victorian Foundation for Survivors of Torture and Trauma for 7 years in various roles supporting refugee and asylum seeker families to recover and rebuild their lives.
