🌿 This podcast is now archived, but these conversations around self-awareness and self-compassion still matter deeply.
I now continue this work on Anchored & Alive with Blaze, a seasonal approach to emotional regulation, burnout recovery, and building a steady, supportive relationship with yourself. Listen here.
How do you value your time? Is there a threshold of excellence you strive to achieve that holds you back from enjoying hobbies?
Sometimes we compare ourselves to people who make their living doing the craft that we’ve made into our hobby. And when we do that, it can eventually stop us from showing up and having fun.
Is there value in doing an activity for its own sake? Or does it always have to produce something or contribute to others? Sometimes there is joy in keeping a project or hobby to yourself. If it helps you to enjoy it more by reserving it for only yourself and possibly a few supportive people, then by all means, keep your secrets!
We all deserve joy in life and to nourish ourselves and fuel up with something precious that inspires you and gives you life.
If this episode supported you, you may enjoy my current work on Anchored & Alive with Blaze, where these ideas are explored through seasonal rhythms and deeper integration.
